Hotel on the Cay  

I love the fact that it was a quiet little secluded island in the heart of town with shopping, bars, clubs just a 2 min boat ride away!

Feels a little past its prime. Watersports are there but do not seem to be encouraged.

Hotel on the Cay is an unbeatable location, a short ferry ride from downtown Christiansted. It is like stepping into a world apart, with a beautiful beach, crystal-clear water and gorgeous views. Yet you are always just minutes away from the nightlife, restaurants and shopping of Christiansted. This is an older hotel, but it is well maintained and a great deal compared to other much-pricier hotels on St. Croix.

The only bar and restaurant at the hotel is a beach bar that closes at 4:30 p.m. After that, you cannot get food or drinks at the hotel (other than soda from vending machines). Your only option is to leave the cay and take the ferry over to Christiansted. Also, note that the ferry stops running at midnight, so younger people who want to party late should be forewarned.

Excellent location, beautiful grounds, plenty of access to water sports, very comfortable room for 4.

You need a water taxi to get to and from, which is unique and a nice experience. But you need to keep that in mind because the water taxi does not run from midnight to 8 am.

Location and ferry.

Needs much renovation. Bathroom toiletries nil.

there were a few issues with the room. a very strong sulphur ordor in the air conditioning that was intermittent and the hotel is actively remodeling but there are many worn and broken furnishings and fixtures

The receptionist was not friendly nor informative with the different activity that occured on the hotel property. It was a disappointment find out ratafterthe fact.

I like that the hotel is located on an island, isolated enough to be away from the hustle of Christiansted, but close enough to enjoy the shopping areas. We came with the intention to purchase timeshare there at Hotel on the Cay, but was so disappointed with the condition of the hotel we changed our minds. We will consider Divi next time, despite its location from the city.

The Hotel which is in a perfect location is not well kept, room not cleaned properly, infrastructure in dilapidated condition, the presentation at the front entrance needs to be cleaned desperately.

The idea of being close to downtown without being downtown.

La posizione é il punto di forza dell'hotel, che merita ottimi voti anche in comfort, pulizia delle stanze e servizi disponibili. La spiaggia é incantevole.

The matteress was the hardest I ever slept on. If I was not in a management possition I would have lost days of work due to pain caused.

Beliggenheden. Man bor nærmest midt i byen Christiansted - og så på en lille ø med badestrand. Også at båden er gratis for hotellets gæster (og vist også leje af solstole) et et stort plus. Det havde vi ikke læst os til og troede at vi skulle betale for hver tur. Alle værelser har (vist nok) havudsigt og at udsigten er så forskellig.

Hotellet er lidt vel "brugt" i forhold til prisen. Det skal stå tydeligere at båden er gratis for hotellets gæster. Hvis det er korrekt at strandstole m.m. er gratis for hotellets gæster bør det også fremgå

The location is excellent. The views from the rooms of Christiansted are great, and it is fun taking the water taxi to and fro.

The hotel is quite dated. It doesn't seem like the best value, but it is the Caribbean, so that is somewhat to be expected.

I liked the view and location but that was it

Service was poor,no breakfast the bar was always closed ,I pay one price on the Internet and got charged again for energy use what !! We were hardly ever there and when there did not stay long this place sucks
