    The view,cleanliness and staff.

Walls paper thin.Entrance to rooms. A bit expensive for what you get. Only one good restaurant on property.

Very nice staff which make you feel welcome. The view to Charlotte Amalie, Cruise ships etc was exceptionel.

Small pool for many people, not able to swim only cool Down meaning standing in the Water. Pool was dirty due to many people and small. Four restaurants but more or less same food in all restaurants. Food was mostly "fastfood" with no or only very little "greens". General food is expensive considering that it is "fastfood". One of the restaurants should be turned into a Buffet restaurant in the evenings. No shuttlebuss to the airport.

Cost and slowness. This took up our time because we had to wait around.

    The resort is stunning but...

I was really disappointed with the food at the outdoor restaurant. If you are vegan or vegetarian there are no main meal options. I decided to settle on a salad. But the lettuce was limp the avocado was still frozen and that's all it was other than six small tomatoes. There was no flair in the salad, no taste, the ingredients were just all thrown on the plate. It's about time restaurants recognise that some people just don't eat meat fish or cheese and make something worth eating for us that doesn't mean just lettuce leaves, some chefs just don't have any imagination!!!

I liked the infinity pool and the bar seats in the water. The bar tender was such a joy, made a new drink for me, and made me feel special. I loved Coco Joe's restaurant and the Fourth of July showing of a movie on the beach and the making of smores. Great organization by the Frenchman Reef staff.

There was no internet service. I couldn't post my pictures until I flew back to United States mainland.

way too expensive for what it offered, I had no choice ( Delta cancelled me) but this was very much too expensive for a property that although friendly and had all resources you could wish for was a bit decayed and needs an upgrade

Nice location, plenty to keep entertained.

Room was not clean. AC very loud. Facility needs a clean up for the price.

The location was great with good views from the pool area. The beach was good but very small, it is only about 10m from the water to the end if the sand.

The hotel is in sure need of a makeover. The rooms look like they haven't had any updates or attention in about 10yrs. The in room Internet was so slow I could barely check email, and there is no option to purchase faster internet access. When I mentioned this to the front desk their response was that maybe I should try going online in the lobby area. Not really interested in having to sit in the lobby on vacation... It took over 45mn to get served at the pool deck restaurant when only half the tables were occupied. Overall a disappointing experience for the high price we paid for an ocean view room.

    Great location

Room looked tired, AC sounded like a jet plane ... reservations double booked us so we ended up sleeping in seperate beds for the weekend ... which we was given a breakfast for .... for over a 1000 for 2 days we weren't impressed

Very beautiful site and views - we didn't see a more beautiful site on St Thomas Easy access to the beach Self contained proposition (ie everything you need on site)

Restaurants exceptionally overpriced for relatively average food (exception is Havana Blue - which is also exceptionally overpriced but for interesting food). Unfortunately when you add in cab fare, going off site becomes fairly uneconomic. Property clearly a bit worn down - but not a major issue Staff quality was decidedly mixed. Some staff were excellent but many had no idea. To be fair this appears to be more of a cultural/location issue than solely a management issue. (Lots of other local resorts suffer this same issue).

Not a 4-5 star hotel! Was very disappointed! I have to change room 3 times due to poor air con, bad smells etc and the staff were exstremly rude about it. Will never stay here again!

The resort grounds are beautiful, and in a great location. The beach and pool at the Frenchmen's Cove property is very good for kids (low surf and pool has a water slide), and is accessible from the "Reef" location.

Food is over priced, and taxis to restaurants are expensive. Rooms are also getting a little run down. Our room had many broken and loose floor tiles, and our balcony door lock did not work properly. Pools at the Frenchmen's Reef are not very kid oriented. I would recommend the Frenchmen's Cove property over the Frenchmen's Reef property for families with young kids.

Good large room with comfortable bed and good air conditioning.

Having to pay a surcharge of $35 per day for the use of facilities, one of which was the use of the internet, but this did not allow relays with other ISPs and therefore I was unable to send e-mails.Generally very expensive.I was surprised that there was no coffee bar although there were a number of drinks bars.
