Nothing negative except suggest they get with the program and switch Styrofoam for more sustainable cups and to go containers.
Staff was courteous, friendly, and welcoming. The view was spectacular!!! A littl dated but charming and clean. Spend a few extra bucks for the king delux or king suite and you want be disappointed. BoNUS=onsite restaurant was quite good!!
The only bad thing this hotel have is the Grumpy Lady that makes the breakfast, she is so Rude.
Best view on St. Thomas. Owners and staff couldn't be more helpful and pleasant. Delicious food and drinks with amazing day and night views. Will definitely return.
The hotel view is simply spectacular and the restaurant 's real Caribbean offerings were unbelievably good, fresh, exotic ingredients producing wondeful flavors!
The water pressure was low but that's what life is like in an island.
The breakfast was awesome with a great view. The management was amazing and everyone made us feel like family!
No hot water. Mass of hair in towel. Very cheap decor.
We had a room right above the restaurant kitchen and it was very noisy in the late afternoon and early morning. Overall facilities were dated, but generally clean until my husband saw a small cockroach the next morning! I understand that it's hard to avoid some bugs in the tropics.
I selected this property for the view and the restaurant. The view from the restaurant was absolutely amazing and the on-site restaurant food was also outstanding. These two elements definitely lived up to my expectations.
Stuck at the hotel unless you wanted to drop $60 to go to town and back in a taxi
The food was great, amazing service but definitely rent a car!
ok, I am pretty well traveled and I have certain expectations when traveling even on a budget. We arrived and the gal at the front desk seemed preoccupied, handed me a key and pointed and verbally gave me the directions to my room....normally when traveling someone at least takes you to the room. Was traveling with my 17 yr old niece and our room was not really connected to the hotel we had to roll our luggage down the street to a side entrance( street level) Separated from the rest of the property (Rm 109) Then the safe didn't work and I was traveling with a lot of cash, she then said it needed new batteries, turns out the safe needed to be replaced. I would think this would be taken care of prior to my arrival. So they gave me a portable safe which locked well but I question the security of the safe itself, connected by a single cord to an outlet I believe...not installed to the wall... There is no where to eat nearby if you arrive mid afternoon so you would definitely need a car. The view from the dining area is fabulous, but I would say the dinner and breakfast were mediocre...( but then I am a 'foodie". The bar is nice and the guys working there and also staffing at night were great and super helpful...honestly had I spent $140 or so it would have been within my level of expectations but for $260 plus resort fees, taxes, etc definitely not worth it.... Also, the room pics made the room appear way nicer than it actually is. Hate to write a bad review but I have to say I was glad that we were only there one night passing thru on our way from St. Johns to Puerto Rico... Oh last thing, they are doing customs now in St Thomas, hotel staff did not realize this and although we were flying Seaborne , one bag did not make the flight... So no matter what anyone says allow a solid 2 hrs in STT now for departures...
The view as spectacular and the bartenders/managers were super helpful and ncie...
The hotel is not looked after. The rooms are very dated and the shower in our room was terrible - dripped water, no pressure
The view from the bedroom, restaurant and pool area is breathtaking! The reception staff and most of the restaurant staff were lovely too.
Nothing specific to complain about.
Location was great. The view from the room was great too. The staff is awesome, always helpful, and nice. Food at the restaurant was good too.
Food was over priced, cheesecake tasted like cardboard box!
The hotel could use an upgrade physically. The restaurant staff was painfully slow and unattentive, although the food wasn't bad.
The view and the conch fritters.
Be prepared for a challenging drive to the hotel and almost everywhere on the island (small roads, no shoulder, very steep grades). Since the hotel restaurant is very popular if you have rental car and go out, it can be challenging getting a parking space by the hotel when you come back. Also be prepared for a lot of steps at the hotel. Room was small but comfortable. Queen bed and no chairs (but there was a table and chairs outside the room). shower only.
Views were fantastic. Hotel property is best described as Bohemian and eclectic. Not for someone who is used to a big chain hotel/resort. Staff was great and attentive.
There were a few small things, but nothing really worth mentioning such as the Netflix would buffer at times... yeah, our room had Netflix, awesome or what?
- The staff was incredibly friendly. - The view. The photos on the webpage are no exaggeration of how cool this place looks. - I am pretty sure the pillows I slept on were the most comfortable in my life.
The water pressure in the shower came and went and the water never really got hot. Minor inconveniences.
Stunning Views. Bar & Restaurant were open-air and looked down onto the city and bay.
The food at the restaurant. The stairs.
The room. The pool.
It wasn't "pristine" I suppose - but that's not what we were looking for. Killed a couple of bugs in the room, but nothing major.
It had a big comfortable room and bed. Good restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Pool restaurant was OK for lunch.
But the room is too small
The restaurant is amazing!
Loved the location and price
The size of the room The absence of a usable working area The voluntary missing light bulbs No much choice for breakfast Breakfast is only served at 07:30 The rate of the room considering, its size, lack of comfort, very simple furniture and very basic bathroom
The view The staff friendlyness
Nothing!---Everyone was very accommodating!
I specifically loved the bed and the views!! Amazing!!!! I stayed 3 nights and had no problems with anything. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was very good.
This B&B is not in walking distance to town but a very nice taxi driver (Ali) can take you down in less than 5 min. It helped to have meals on site so that you could just stay and relax We had to leave at 7:30 am for a flight so we missed breakfast. The coffee maker in the lounge was not adequate. Given the fact that one is dependent on what is served on the premises I would have liked a more sophisticated choice of beverages at the pool side
Setting and view is stunning- day and night and the garden around it is lush and well kept Pool deck beautiful to relax and read on Room was clean and had a little balcony The manager called a cab for us when we arrived so that we were taken care of next morning for our flight The house is quite hilly and someone who cannot manage stairs could be in trouble! We loved it because it added to the setting. The view of incoming cruise ships is something to behold. The staff in the restaurant were helpful and courteous and take pride in their good work.
Improvements were still in progress when we stayed.
The staff was excellent, customer friendly and focused. Certainly will be back.
