The Inn at Blackbeard's Castle

Staff very friendly and great welcome. Comfortable, basic and clean rooms. Lovely views. Close to Ferry to BVI. Enjoyed the tour of the estate.

Interesting setting with gorgeous view and pool below the tower. Lovely balcony and breezes through the room.

Bathroom rather cramped, double doors could not be opened fully as bed was in the way. Reading light switch on one side of bed was broken. Place was quite empty except for day visitors to Blackbeard's Castle.

Blackbeard's Castle was such a pleasant surprise! It is up on a hill, with the most spectacular view of the bay. It is only a 10 min. cab ride from the airport, and a quiet oasis awaits you. The bar overlooking the bay was wonderful. The staff were extremely accommodating. The rooms were very spacious, comfortable, and air conditioned. On our last day there, while our group was waiting to go to the airport, Adam Forrester, one of the tour guides/bartender/staff, made us feel completely at home; he held our bags for us, helped us print boarding passes, taught us history, told great stories, and most importantly, made us awesome rum drinks!! Thank you Adam! Next time we go back to St. Thomas, we will definitely be staying at the Blackbeard's Castle.

Beautiful, quiet setting. Not far from the airport or ferries. Very accommodating staff. Awesome views. Great value.

Hard to find staff at times, booking problem in that booking.com did not specify which hotel at Blackbeard's castle we had booked (there are two). We walked up to the higher one (the Inn) when we should have stayed at the lower (Hotel 1829). We didn't know they were connected.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was secure and safe. The open air bar has the best view in town. The room was clean and updated The beds were comfortable.

Nice location and very nice building. Wifi available.

Breakfast is quite basic, check out is at 11am and maximum given more it's one hour later. Location is not exactley same shown in booking.com

The view from our balcony was incredible, over looking Downtown Charlotte Amalie. The staff was extremely courteous and answered all of our questions truthfully. The walking tour was very interesting and well designed. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay, go In the off season as prices are lower and everything is less crowded.

The location of the Inn at Blackbeard's Castle was perfect. I was in the heart of town and close to transportation including the ferry and the local bus and taxis. They also have a continental breakfast. The staff at the Inn were warm, friendly and very attentive. They even went the extra mile and drove me to a restaurant late at night so I would not have to go out alone. I traveled alone and in the evenings they sat with me at the bar and chatted. They were wonderful.

This is not really about the Inn itself, but they used to have a wonderful, gourmet restaurant on the premise that overlooked the harbor. Unfortunately the chef/owner left and so the hotel does not have a restaurant. That would have made things perfect.

The staff were extremely helpful. The hotel manager/bartender Wyde was best host u can ever have! Location is great! I loved it there

Bathroom facility is poorly working.

I did not like the customer service very rude. I was unable to go to the hotel because my flight was cancelled and I called to make the cancellation and they refuse to refund atleast half.

hotellet har en meget ufleksibel afbestillingspolitik - man vil altid hænge på mindst en overnatning med mindre man afbestiller mindst 14 dage i forvejen - det kom os til skade da vi blev inviteret til at bo hos venner.

Stort værelse med uundværlig stor balkon med smuk smuk udsigt. Fin pool. Helt vildt anderledes om aftenen at stå med nøglen til borgen og gå rundt alene efter mørkets frembrud

Morgenmad lidt spartansk. Meget dyr taxi til og fra borgen og man bliver anbefalet IKKE at gå ud efter mørkets frembrud. Så meget isoleret om aftenen

найти отель можно только с навигатором или на такси. все прилегающие улицы с односторонним движением.

Centrico a las zonas de compras en la ciudad. La vista es espectacular. El encanto de vivir en un museo. La habitación, amplía, ventilada con su terraza y los pisos de madera. Privacidad y sencillez.

No realmente. Sólo como un punto a mejorar, el desayuno indicado como incluido. Cuando preguntamos por el nos dijeron que no había servicio de desayuno, y realmente era una especie de snack.

El hotel cuenta con muy buena localización. Esta cerca de las calles principales para recorrer la isla. Es un buen hotel para ir con amistades, en pareja o solo. Tiene mucha privacidad, la piscina es hermosa y grande. La vista del hotel es asombrosa hacia el water front. El personal del hotel es muy amable. El precio pagado es justo. El hotel cuenta con museos y tours que son buenos. Este hotel tiene valor histórico. Si vuelvo a St. Thomas me volvería a quedar aquí.

La variedad del desayuno continental.

Solo la ubicación porque es céntrico. Pero la habitación era sumamente pequeña, sin luz natural a menos que abriese la puerta; el baño es para una sola persona que no pase de 180Lbs y no tiene ni estractor sino que la mini ventana que tiene dá para adentro del cuarto. Es un hotel tranquilo pero como para solo pasar la noche.

La habitación y el baño, son super pequeños y sin ventilación ni luz natural.

Was not informed that the castle and shops and museum were closed. Would like to have toured.

The location is great, close to shopping, banks, and bus stops. I liked that it was a laid back place to stay where you could just relax and chill, no fuss, no frills. The price was okay, I guess. I liked the lay out of the hotel room, I was facing the pool and had a queen size bed.

The bed was noisy, each time I moved I heard a noise, it was not to much of a big deal but it was a little annoying. The bed was uncomfortable. The bathroom was too dark, it needed more lights.
