It's across the street from the ferry dock and close to the airport. I fly in to STT arriving at 2135, stay overnight and take the ferry to Tortola. When leaving BVI I take the ferry to Charlotte Amalie stay over night and take the 0900 flight to Miami. So it is very convenient for me and the price is as good or better than other hotels.
Convenient for the ferry to the BVI of you have to overnight. Clean and tidy motel type accommodation. A bit pricey for what it is, but the USVI is expensive.
A bit pricey.
Just across the road from the ferry, nice terrace with pool
Staff rude, manager away on holiday, arrived late at night no reservation having booked through booking.com? Bar closed because till not working, bellboy running in all directions to let guests in their rooms as key card machine in reception not working and bedroom doors impossible to open.
It's close to the Airport and across the street from the Ferry Dock in St. Thomas. I left on the ferry the next morning to Tortola, BVI.
Very disorganized at check inn. One clerk for 20 people or more. The room keys never worked for entire floors. Had to wait for bellboy to come around and let you in your own room. Air con dripped on tile floor and caused puddle in the middle of the night and darkness. Stepped into it while going to bathroom and fell. Never could imagine such thing. Tried to get in touch with manager not available. No one cares about fixing anything as there are too many people willing to stay due to price and location. You should avoid this hotel like the plague!!!!
The hotel is located opposite the ferry terminal which is great when travelling to the other islands
The fridge in the room was very noisy. I had to unplug it at night so I could sleep
Very little. They touted security yet I wss woken up twice with people knocking on my door... Did not answer.
The list is to long. This is a non-flagged hotel. It will never quality for a flag. Room had smoked windows...Nice! There was no hot water for the shower. The AC worked but was older. The bathroom was a joke. Turning on the shower taps a dirty black film came out! The lighting in the bathroom was frightful. The restaurant was a pitiful and empty. Dangerous neighborhood. On checking in, everything in the hotel was closed. Counseled not to leave the hotel. The fitness room was a complete farce. It was terrible. The booking promised a flat screen TV. There was one on the old fashioned digital TVs. Furniture really old. Fridge disgusting - yuck. The staff were okay to a point. Located opposite a grotty warf, full of homeless. Smelled really bad. Asked for dining recommendations. None to be had yet on checking out I came about a restaurant guide complete with menus. I caution do not book this hotel. Try not to stay in Charlotte Amalie.
The sliding door was not latched, and would not latch in our room, had to wedge something in the door to prevent it from being opened from the outside. Pool OOS
1. Nobody seemed to follow through on requests. I had to ask more than once to get something done. 2. Some of the front desk staff like Barbara were rude & discourteous, & spoke to me like I was a child! 3. The maid service was TERRIBLE for the most part. Towels put on the floor were folded and put back on the rack. Furniture & carpet stains were not removed till the regular maid returned from vacation!
Place was clean and comfortable, staff was very helpful and polite. Room service was efficient and timely. Restaurant staff and food was very very good and clean.
Place needs a new face lift, a fresh coat of paint can help, it just needs some TLC and maintenance, toilets didn't flush well but overall one can live with it.
There's a few things that need updating... room need toilet paper holder, fire escape plan need updating (there's no red indicating where you're at), dead bolt doesn't go all the way across when closed as when door is open, need microwave in room, and access to parking should be for guess not casino players cause most parking was gone.
Hotel Location is great. Overall room was good.
I love the room very nice and clean.
My daughter wasn't happy because of the pool was under repaired.
The front desk staff was outstanding and very nice.
The staff members at the bar were not as welcoming as the front desk staff.
Take my so to the pool
Our group stayed for one night. The location was ideal for our needs. The hotel is 4 minute from the ferry dock and a short 10 minute taxi ride to the airport. Very strong air conditioning system and newly renovated rooms.
Plumbing - the water was turned off for several hours in the afternoon for repairs. Bath needs more towel bars.
comfortable bed. Adequate bath. beautiful courtyard. Good TV. Good food in restaurant. Beautiful well located swimming pool.
restaurant staff was much less than cordial. They were continually disappearing and it seemed like I was bothering them when I asked for something or asked a question. Calls to front desk often answered with voice mail and no call back as promised.. keycard to open door was difficult to use. Swimming pool water was not being filtered so I was afraid it was not good for swimming.
I have been a regular customer. I love the location of this property.
The rooms need service. Bathrooms are not kept up with maintenance.
The location across from the ferry dock
Staff, being double charged and fighting to get charges reversed, rude food server who could not get the order right.
The one bellman was very helpful
The wait staff in restaurant very inexperienced. Please replace white female bartender.
They were the only hotel to help us when our flight was canceled and the airlines wanted to book us in a hotel the cab driver would not leave us at because of the area of town.
Building works around the pool all day .Door locks need upgrading/cleaning, took average of 5 minutes to gain access to room after 2 changes of key card. Hotel needs closing and a complete overhaul carried out. Left hotel after 1 day (booked for 6) and went to Blackbeards Castle which was excellent
Location to the airport is easy and convenient
rooms are comfortable but can use an upgrade. Maintenance seems to be lacking
The hotel was perfectly located opposite the ferry dock. The pool was lovely and the hotel situation was ideal, also located close to shops and restaurants as well as close to the airport.
The room was nice but smelled a bit musty with nasty sticky stains on the carpet. The shower was awful and squirted everywhere as well as being super tiny.
