Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Charming retro decor, nice wooden floors. Helped me arrange inexpensive transport to Sapa and stored my luggage at no charge. Offered me an upgrade to large comfy room with balcony looking out onto tree lined street of cafes at very decent rate. Location is good for cheap eats and nightlife, close to train station. When I came back from Sapa by train they kindly let me check in early.

    Wifi a bit unreliable.

staff were really helpful, explain the road, ready to order taxi if you need. location in center but not exactly in old quarter that is advantage- you can sleep:) and a lot of nice street food around, not far to bus to airport.

toilet- when we run out of the paper we where not able to get another one, till next day. apart form that, toilet should be renovated a bit, it's not disgusting but it's not a pleasure to use it.

The staffs were nice. They also offered travel agency services like booking a train/bus ticket to locations near Hanoi. The manager could even speak Japanese, although I would rather speak English for practicing. The surroundings were also nice; quite calm atmosphere, with some restaurants near the hostel.

Very hot shower, good location with many street food around. Friendly and helful staff.

It is noisy all day, house keepers are very loud in the morning. Hard bed with old sheet. But that's all you can ask for a cheap room in city center.

The person named Lee is a very helpful manager and provides supports to tourists who are new to the place. He seems to be running the hotel as owner. He bahaves in a way that customers trust him.

The location should be clear and a guidance should be given as to what should be the taxi fare to reach the hotel since I was badly cheated.

Helpful staff who called our Halong Bay tour operator to sort things out when they cancelled the tour on us. Large beds. Close enough to walk to the train station. Very good price. Good wifi.

The room was a bit drab, the windows did not lock and the door to outside only had a tiny bolt however we did not feel unsafe. Half the lights did not work. As at all places the staff tried to sell us their tours but did not persist when we said we had already booked.

I only booked this hotel to have a shower before taking the train to Sapa. I was glad I didn't actually have to sleep here.

The whole place is a dive - a prison cell would be better. The "bathroom" was a broken sink, toilet and a hose without hot water. The bedroom was more like a closet. I could not imagine actually sleeping here. Pay a few $ more and go somewhere else.

Located close to Hoan Kiem lake (lot of activities around the lake). Value for money. Big rooms.

    1. We felt like the staff were trying to rip us off on several occasions: a. The person at the reception always said that he would give back change sometime later. He conveniently 'forgot' to give back change on many occasions. I saw him do this with other customers as well, some of whom got quite irritated with him. b. The staff offered to make travel arrangements for going to Cat Ba. They said the last boat leaves at 11am and after that there would be no way to get to Cat Ba. We were skeptical about this, so we decided not to take their offer. Later on, we found out that boats to Cat Ba are actually available every few hours, throughout the day (till evening). They provided us with incorrect information so that they could make money off us from their tour package (for which the last boat was at 11am) c. Since we needed an extra bed, I had mailed the person in charge who ensured us that extra beds would be provided at 5USD per extra bed. When we reached, we found that the extra bed was not available. So they requested us to adjust without an extra bed, and assured us that we would be charged only 3USD extra since we would still require the extra towels etc., When we checked out, he went back on his word and demanded 5USD instead of 3. Its not much of a difference, but it shows that the person was not trustworthy when it came to money. d. When asked about the cheapest way to get to the airport, he claimed their private pick up from the airport is the cheapest(420,000VND). We found out that there are buses that go to the airport every hour at 40,000VND. He did not even mention this to us, since he wanted us to take his private car service. 2. Location of the Hotel was a little shady (although it was close to the main shopping area)

I have been to Hanoi several times after using taxi picking up from the airport from them straight to the hotel and I was really excited to stay in this apt Ez Hotel, I booked for 1 single room but they offered me to double room with warmly and quick check in. The room has got balcony, wifi, city map with good direction. I could enjoy the pure atmosphere with the view to the city in the morning. They have got Travel desk at the lobby that I can consult many tour options . Finally I chose Halong Bay tour and Mekong delta tour in the south. Frankly the offered the very good price that I could not found any where cheaper. For the moment I am really happy for their service.I Think you can find the tour service here with reasonable price because I know that they are Travel company head office

-close to many restaurant -about 15 minutes to Hoan Kiem Lake but have many interesting places along the way

-have no elevator -no universal adapter for borrow or rent -you have to choose between light or hot-water in the WC because they have 2 plugs with 1 socket, so ridiculous and dangerous -no water for drink, you have to paid an extra -and i didn't saw any minibar in my room

-they had a tour operating office at the lobby which books you at a cheaper price than anywhere else. - location is good as it's at one of the central food streets of hanoi

-the breakfast offered was just a simple toast and coffee. though considering the price, it was i think justifiable. -since the road it's at, doesn't allow cars to get in, a light bag is better as you have to walk a couple of minutes from the main road and up the stairs to your rom.
