If you are planning to stay bc one of your stops are too long it's ok. The bed and shower ok for one night.
It is located in front of market so it gets really noisy on the morning. Reception is not as beautiful as it looks in the picture We arrived late to Hanoi that's why we stayed there but for that price the only reason I'd stay there is bc the proximity of the airport and bc my flight is very early the next day. I'd rather prefer to go to the city center.
Quick and cheap taxi (~$1) to/from the airport if you have to stay overnight to make connections through Hanoi. Area is safe and the staff was very friendly upon arrival. There is a little market directly across the street that gives you a small taste of all the hustle and bustle of Hanoi.
Noise - hard to avoid in Hanoi, but be prepared to wake up early from all the honking of passing cars and bikes PS - Avi has a sister hotel, and my first taxi driver mistakenly took me there. That hotel was on a shady block of town. Luckily the manager of that hotel (name is ~Airport Hotel) called another taxi and got me down the street to Avi quickly.
The power cut out; the room smelt; the door didn't shut properly; breakfast wasn't included
Double rooms are roomy, single rooms are not
I stayed one night only. The staff was sharp, and there was no water in bathroom, they fixed it after couple of hours. the room not so clean.
Cheap Close to airport Clean and tidy Really happy helpful staff Firm bed Cool curtains in interior wall to fake a window. The ceiling being only 4' high on one of the stairwells. Manic design
Breakfast was ok for $2 but I'd have preferred rice or noodles. Not toast
Very convenient for an overnight stay before an early flight. The staff were very welcoming and the transfer service was good.
It was very noisy until about 11pm, though the noise levels decreased after that.
Its close to airport.
I was pretty sure that bed sheets were used. Room was very old and we had a big hole in bathroom wall. There were no lift and nobody helped with our bags.
We lost a bag in the taxi on the way to the airport and they helped us to contact the taxi and have him to come back! Close to the airport , so convenient for an early flight.
No baby cot or extra mattress
Staff were very helpful and close to the airport.
Sheets and towels were old and worn
Close to the airport of Hanoi; convenient transfer to the airport; good wifi in the room
Rather spooky hotel; very basic bathroom
This was idealy located a 5 minute taxi drive from the airport which we needed to be at early. The staff were lovely and very friendly with us, especially when we spoke a couple of words in Vietnamese. We went for a stroll and, whilst there wasn't much to see, the locals were all friendly enough.
Quit loud in the street thanks entirely to large industrial vehicles intermittently blasting their horns down the street all day long. If you're walking in the street be prepared to have sore ears after all the beeping. Not the hotel's fault, just a cultural thing.
Good location near to the airport
Expensive airport transportation Noisy (rats, lizards)
-very good location (10min to the airport) - clean room - good a/c - nice staff
- room was quite expensive for what we got - light from corridor shining to our room for whole night
Friendly staff who stayed up to organise our taxi and make sure we made our flight.
Grim. To be fair we arrived very late and very tired only to have to leave again in four hours. The rooms appeared to be clean but very basic and desperately in need of renovation. Charged quite a lot for not very much. It was very close to the airport so I suppose if you just want to sleep then its ok.
The staff were very friendly and we were allowed to stay in the hotel until 2pm the following day for no extra charge. They arranged a taxi for us to go into Hanoi and a time for collection which worked out really well. The room was very basic but clean. Considering the very small price of the room, it is very good value.
The proximity to the airport is great only 10 minutes by taxi. High power effective air conditioner (albeit very noisy) Spacious room and large bed.
Arriving at night the street seems very dark and scruffy, no local restaurants. Staff are friendly but young and speak no English and seemed surprised by our arrival, not sure they had our booking but there was a room for us.. Food on offer did not look appealing. Bathroom and bedroom furniture well past their best. Shower attachment in rather stained bath not on wall and creaking pipes, loose toilet seat. Worst of all they ran out of water completely in the morning so couldn't wash. Very apologetic - we had bottled water to wash in! Fridge (empty) kettle (no cups or supplies) Smelled very dusty but think it might be the ageing building rather than lack of cleanliness. Dogs barking all night and noisy cockerels. Having said all of this if you just want a very basic very cheap place to sleep near the airport this is what it is.
not too far from airport-inexpensive. the staff was nice.
the noisiest place i've stayed in - terrible to be able to hear every car go by - and drivers honk like crazy in this area!
Very helpful crew. Nice atmosphere. Flexibility. Cleanness. Good place for the night and 1-2 day stay in Hanoi (40 km to city center, 3 km to the airport)
Small selection of dishes. Practically, no breakfast.
-5min drive to airport. 5 dollars each way for airport pickup -comfortable rooms, enough space -friendly staff
-we chose this hotel because we had an early flight the next day. For this reason the hotel was very good for what we needed. However if youd be staying longer there is not much to do in the area.
It's close to airport.
The hotel transfer is too expensive. 5USD in vietnamese currency it's about 100.000. There were rats in the hotel. I could hear its sound.
Cheap. Near airport
I already paid for one night stay. Also paid for our dinner. But the next morning, the guy whom I paid, asked me to pay the dinner.it seems he forgot we have paid him. Since we did not have any receipt, have to argue until he remember. The hotel also do not have any Genset. We were in total darkness for one and half hours because of Electrical shut down
REALLY CLOSE TO THE AIRPORT.
It was cheap and close to the airport
The dinner they served us was disgusting. They booked us the wrong bus to sapa which left at 6:30pm instead of 6:30am which meant we would have missed a night at our sapa accommodation if we didn't force them to keep searching for other companies to book a bus through. Very poor organisation.
Convenient for late-arriving flights, since many hotels stop check-in at 11:30 and Hanoi is roughly forty minutes from the airport.
Almost twenty dollars for a room that was 90% bed. Paid for breakfast, which consisted of a small water bottle (worth 25 cents). The 20 dollar taxi they provided to Hanoi was driven by a man who seemed to be hotel staff but took me to the lake when I had been told he would take me to my hostel. If you are going to Hanoi from the hotel, take their free ride back to the airport and get a 2 dollar mini bus ride to the Old Quarter from there, or opt for the 13-16 fixed price taxi rides that will take you all the way to your hotel.
