    The location and views.

The staff were quite patronising which wasn't helpful, and only one of them spoke good enough english to help us.

Close to the beach, friendly staff, for travelling on a budget it's decent

Bad aircondition, broken door handle, leaking sink (they fixed it though), close to the pier

Basic but clean rooms, good breakfast, incredible helpful staff, right in the beach with bath hot water, moped rental service. Best stay of our travels.

It's a no frills accommodation, bathrooms are in a lean to. Well kept and clean but something to consider.

Our first night at con Dao camping we were not able to sleep because there was a rat in our room that keptus up all night. When we approached the staff, they could've cared less. We waited for 2 hours to get our room switched, but in the end paid for our 3 days in full and left because we couldn't stand to stay there another night. I have never had to leave a hotel because of health reasons, and I hope I never will again! Definitely the worst place I have ever stayed!

Friendliness of the staff. Near by the beach. Lovely accommodation and so cheap! Very peaceful area away from the expensive resort, so people are so honest! Very quiet area of the town with lovely real and genuine locals!

Sand fly! Bikes need to be serviced for rental.

The location is sublime. Just like a picture postcard. Warm seas, sandy beaches and palm trees. Excellent clean little rooms. Great housekeeping.

One member of staff wasn't too bothered by guests. We did check in on their siesta time (11am and 2pm) when you get there you'll realise why they chill at these times. Still, one staff member was not too helpful.

Unpretentious and comfortable, with pleasant staff and a good location. Right on the beach, as well as being with in easy walking distance to restaurants. Staff are very helpful and enjoy interacting with guests, thus making the guests feel welcome.

-Rooms are nice -Close to everything in Con Dao -Water is nice on the beach

-Staff quite incompetent, asked for them to fix TV for 3 days, they kept saying "yes" but never remembered. It also took me asking twice to get towels. -Beach is filthy, covered in plastic. There was a fridge laying on it when we were there. But that's a lot of Vietnamese beaches. -"View" from the beach is the pier, not pretty. -No free breakfast

Very nice and helpful staff, relaxing atmosphere, nice huts right on the beach. Don't worry too much about sand flies.

It's not the fault of the hotel but the view / beach is certainly spoiled by construction of a big, new landing pier.

the cute little tent-like houses are surprisingly big and airy, with nice beds. the breakfast area is a very basic beach hut, but the bread & omelets are very nice. the surroundings are very pretty: it's super to recline on the sunbeds in the well kept garden, that looks out onto the sea.

the bathroom in our house was very poor. no hot water, although for some people that wouldn't be a problem considering the heat on the islands, and very brown water from the taps. the interior elements are old (curtains, airco, table) and ready for renewal. annoying was that the 2 young receptionists wanted to take our passports in for 1 night, and they didn't speak English well enough to answer our questions. only the boss (a woman) speaks English.
