This hotel was a wonderful surprise. Really big and very comfortable rooms. Located close to restaurants and shops. Service was considerate and friendly. Noisy construction site across the road.

The Dai a is a nice place to stay. The rooms are immaculately clean and comfortable. The staff were always willing to help in any situation and the front counter and some other staff speak excellent English. Tours and hire motorbikes were arranged with ease. The hotel has a stable of hire m/cycles on the premises ready to go, and the hire rate was the most reasonable in DaNang. The Dai a is only a 300 metre walk to the Han River where there is a myriad of restaurants, coffee shops and bars. I would gladly stay there again.

Very clean room and good breakfast. To be at central location of Da Nang it would be the best value hotel with the level of their service. The building design was a little bit funny, looks like a twin building jooning together in an angle. It can be a bit confusing when walking around.

Receptionist payed very well attention to uncredible request on my behalf by booking.com: "guest likes room with outdoors view" I asked for a room with a window so I could have an outside view. She called me on my Vietnamese phone to ask for explanation and I explained...."just a room with a window" In Vietnam there are a number of hotels which don't have "outside view" windowns; so called interior rooms. They gave me breakfst coupon, but I had to get up at 5.30 am to go to airport. To early to get breakfast. They could have prepared a kind of small, simple breakfast box that I could keep in the refregiator. Just a bread roll /croissant with some cheese and/or hard boiled egg and a banana

The hotel was well located, and the room was good. However there is a major building site across the road which produced a lot of noise at night. The staff were very good about offering us a change of room to somewhere quieter. Unfortunately the room we were moved to, while quiet, was very budget-basic - only passable for backpackers really (the a/c didn't really work; the beds were pretty worn out and the bathroom was very basic). It was disappointing that the hotel could not help with breakfast as we needed to leave for the airport before 7am, and they could not even provide a baguette.

We were very happy with our stay at Dai a Hotel March last year and returned to find that we had been given rooms in the new wing this time around. The new room had a huge bed, stylish fittings, very nice bathroom and a window with a view of lush tree tops and the Danang Cathedral's steeple. (We were in room 410. Our friends were in rooms 310 and 210.) It was a lovely bright and modern room. The extension also included a new breakfast area that opened out onto a quieter side street. Breakfast menu has also been improved with more choices. Very nice! Service, as before, was excellent. The concierge Mr Thuanh (I hope the spelling is right) is friendly, helpful and a wealth of information. He also speaks good English and Mandarin. Though Dai a is not on Esplanade (which can be very busy and noisy), it is located just a short walk away. There are plenty of eating and coffee choices around. Dai a Hotel is a peaceful oasis to return to after a tiring day of sight- seeing and shopping in the markets! Though it's beyond the hotel's control, the noise from the construction site adjacent to the hotel went on late into the night.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially with my onward plans. The room was big and clean. There is no 24 hour concierge so, as I arrived very early in the morning (4am), I had to wait around outside for a while.
