Fortune Dai Loi Hotel  

The noise in the hotel was unbearable. The poor 'isolation' in combination with holes from bathroom and bedroom to the hallway and a fully booked hotel with only stone floors means that you can hear every door that closes and every person that speaks. I would not recommend this to anyone who wants to sleep at night.

The hotel was just great. Nice, fair and helpful staff, reasonable price, good location and an amazing breakfast!

We had a nice room with a good view but Da Lat never seems to sleep so there was road noise all night (not excessive). However we choose the room because it was roomy and bright where as the quiet rooms were dark with no view.

Amazing staff, so helpful and excellent English. Very well priced and centrally located.

Beds are a bit hard for Westerners. Very basic toiletries

Great location close to the lake. Short walk to the 'Crazy House'. Night market nearby. Hotel had high ceilings. Very friendly family in breakfast room. Fantastic omelettes and coffee.

Not air conditioned, but air is cool at night. Hear street noise if you leave the windows open and we were on the 5th floor.

The Hotel is very spacious. We had deluxe rooms and they were huge. Also spotless clean! The staff was very nice and sweet. The breakfast buffet was very good, it was vietnamese mostly, various dishes. Great noodle soup! They also have baguette and they make fresh omelette on demand. The owner of the hotel was very nice too, always present and concerned if everything was alright. The hotel is central, 5 minutes to the lake, 10 minutes to the center. The V café is in the neighbourhood, in case you´re longing for western food.

Wonderful staff at reception and at breakfast, the warmest, friendliest, and most helpful hotel staff imaginable. Our superior room was large, and beautifully furnished with classic Oriental furniture, and tasteful decor. A very generous breakfast buffet.

There was no aircon or fan in the room (luckily it wasn´t too hot when we stayed). The advertised gym was not available ( I snooped around a bit, and found it was being used as a laundry)

Location near the lake and 5 minutes walk to the city centre.

the stuff is really friendly and helpful,the room is very clean and comfortable.all the hotel is full of Lily and other flowers.you can enjoy buffet breakfast ,so plentiful that you even don't need to have lunch.it is very near from the sinh tourist and the Xuan Huong Lake. the best hotel of vietnam I have ever been in.

Great hotel. Happily organised my airport transfer for 200,000VND with no problems. Beautiful room and very friendly helpful staff.

A really nice place to stay. If your looking for a comfortable place, thats close to the heart of the town and has everything you need at a great price then this is it. The staff here are great, so helpful and so happy to help you in every way possible. The rooms are nice, very clean, comfortable and secure. The hotel has an elevator and the free wifi works well. Breakfast down stairs is nice with fresh fruits, coffee, bread, omelettes and also traditional vietnamese breakfast options. The temprature in the rooms was always nice, had a safe, TV and work desk. Our room even had a nice view of the lake. The hotel is very close to the town centre, we walked to the crazy house, cathedral, markets and more. There is also lots of great restuarants and bars nearby. I would 100% stay here again!

Like a lot of hotels the shower in the bathroom is not seperated from the toilet and sink. Basically the entire bathroom gets pretty wet when you shower. There is a little bit of noise from traffic on the street. However we never had a problem sleeping. I'd recommend staying in the rooms on higher levels to reduce noise.

This is an old fashioned hotel in colonial style. Friendly staff and spacious room furnished with old style black wood furniture. The breakfast buffet was good

Not very modern bathroom.

These guys are so nice. The place is very modern & very clean. The breakfast is wonderful; the selection is huge & you can have as much as you like. The lovely older lady kept trying to get me to eat more! The hotel is in a great location, 2 mins walk from the lake & 7 mins walk to the town centre. The guys on the desk sorted out our cab to the airport for the morning we were leaving & then when we were going they did up a packed breakfast for us to take away with us! Lovely people, definitely recommended.

The only drawback is that the echo from the foyer up the stairs to the 1st floor (where we were staying) is very loud. We felt like we were staying in a swimming pool at times & this can cause issues at night. Also the cheapest rooms have no windows (which wasn't a problem or us but just be aware).

The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast good with a wide variety of food,the position great with a convenience store nearby, a short walk to the lake, market and centre of town and still relatively quiet. There are eateryies neaby but usually we walked to town to eat. We booked a day trip through the hotel which we enjoyed.

Helpful, friendly, english speaking staff. X'lent location, quiet but local nightclubs and restaurants are great, 10 min. walk to the Central markets. Well presented room. Ok breakfast; largely local food but eggs cooked to order.

Rooster at 4.30 every morning! Not enough power sockets in room. Fitness room and sauna advertised but not available.

Good location. Spacious room with nice decor. Breakfast was really good and the lady owner was very friendly and helpful.

The bath/shower was very leaky. There's a gap between the bath and the wall and most of the water from the showerhead ends up on the floor. Opportunity to make good use of the sandals provided. Might just be our room though.
