Staff responsive to all requests made,I enjoyed the breakfast choices,but a viet local ate breakfast elsewhere.

Very nice place. First time I have stayed in HCM city, without noice disturbing my sleep. Will come back here for sure. Wonderful rooftop terrace, where breakfast are served.

We stayed there 2 times during the trip and must say that the owner was too strict with policy and not very customer-oriented. We had flight problems and came too late...charged us eveything...

We booked two rooms but only one was available when we arrived. They upgraded our other room. Only issue there was that we had booked for two rooms and they were going to upgrade for only 1 night. We did not want to move after 1 day, they gave us the upgrade for the second night. The breakfast was good.

Perfect hotel and everything is 100% Location is in a small street next to the main area and its really quiet because of that. I ended up staying 4 nights instead of 1. Great staff Great location Really comfortable beds and good air condition I highly recommend this hotel! And great price as well

We just love this place and keep going back to it! Why? The staff are fantastic! They help you in any and every way they can! The rooms are spotlessly clean and the location is right in the heart of District 1 - Backpackerland! Plenty of places to eat etc within a couple of minutes walk!

The staff at the Green Suites were fabulous and could not have done more to help us. The budget-priced room was adequate and clean and the service was excellent. We would most definitely stay there again.

It's in a very good location. Quiet as it's down an alley but really central. The reception staff are very helpful and friendly. Really lovely people. Nice coffee.

They have a 3% surcharge to pay by card, which they don't advertise in their booking information. It isn't a big deal but that kind of thing annoys me. The breakfast is good value but the options are pretty limited.

Hotel is in located in a very small back road "ruelle in french" and is in a not so nice area, the offered room was very small and just ok, but I upgraded to the top floors and the room was very nice and very clean, nice bathroom with bath, very comfy bed, marble floors...but I was scared when I first arrived...actually I mixed the 2 day cost for a single night cost which made me book this room by mistake thinking it was a mid class hotel...but actually the upgraded room at 30$ was as nice as many $50-60 hotels I've seen...nice stay over all.

Breakfast in roof top area was very good. Central location yet very quiet because it is located in a side alley. Very helpful staff.

The staff were amazing. Sorted flights out, taxis, hotels in other places that were great value for money. Just perfect. Breakfast was alright considering the price and location was perfect for exploring no partying. Def be back.

The balcony....you could stand thee I guess but not a room for a chair....still was good to have!

Green Suites was a convenient place to stay. It was clean and had everything you need for budget accommodation. Eating breakfast on the roof top was nice overlooking the city, and it was located down an alley way very near the back packer area but without the noise!

It was a little soulless , as in not much character as a guesthouse may have. If is somewhere to stay but not somewhere to particularly hang out for any length of time which is fine when you are in the city and outside most of the time. The only other thing we noticed was their detailed list of charges if something was to go missing from the room, an inventory! They also said they would charge if you forgot the safe code and had to open it. They charged for extras at breakfast too if you had an extra drink etc this was a little off putting, and set it apart from a hotel service and style.

Was a great place to stay for someone not wanting a backpackers! Really good location and nice staff!! Room was always clean!

Showers often would be cold but still enjoyed the stay!

Initial impression of our room.

Service. We could accept no hand towels, bath mat for day 1 only, dirty glasses daily (wash them yourself), broken loo seat, complimentary water for day 1 only, no instructions for bedroom safe, boiled eggs for breakfast (hard boiled, no choice), only hotel holding passports we've encountered, ever). What we found difficult to accept was refusal of staff to make a simple phone call to a taxi company of our choice on the grounds that "... they didn't have a deal with that company." Their "deal" $us15. Our selected company $us7. All we wanted was translation from English to Vietnamese of our request. We had tried to do this ourselves. They flatly refused to do this. We were promised an early breakfast would be prepared and ready at 6.15am the morning of our departure. This promise was not met "... the restaurant is not open until 6.30am." The promises and assurances of the previous night were empty. While all the above seem trivial, the total, to us, represented very poor service.

Green suites hotel was a good hotel at a great price, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was extremely secure, with a safe and security cameras located around the hotel. The reception was manned throughout the day and at evenings if the receptionist had to leave their desk to show new arrivals to their room then they locked the front door. If maintenance had to be completed in your room then the maintenance person had a security person with them. The breakfast was limited so after a week it would get a bit repetitive but having said that for the price that you paid for this hotel it represented excellent value for money. Would we stay here again..... Defiantly YES good hotel at a good price and very secure. Location wise it took a while to find apart from that small comment it was a good visit, this hotel is not very well signed and is down a small alley at the bottom, even when we walked down the alley we missed the hotel and as we walked away we noticed a small sign for the hotel, the alley is a busy alley with a few hotels and a restaurant which locals use to eat out, at first this may come across as intimidating especially with lots of motor cycles around but they were no issues and we did not feel threaten or intimidated, locals were very friendly and tried to be helpful despite the language barrier.

Apart from the small comments detailed above overall I would rate this hotel as very good.

Great Hotel in a small alley in Saigon, the rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. Staff was friendly, so overall no complains at all!
