Friendly staff and comfortable room When ordering taxi to go to airport initially were quoted a much higher price until we pointed out that we were aware of prices. The lift broke down between floors and we were standed for a short time until staff managed to get the door open and we climbed out. |

The breakfast was very good and the staff was incredibly helpful. If I'm forced to come up with something to complain about: About 50 channels on the TV, lots of sports channels but not any news channels like BBC World. |

Kindly staff, computer in the room, location of the hotel. The standard room very too small, breakfast ordinary (cafe no good, food not well cooked) and slow service when more people arrive at the same time. |

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. I have to call particular attention to Mr. Nguyen Hoang, whose service was way beyond anything we experienced during our entire 3 1/2 weeks in Vietnam and Cambodia, and indeed, anything we've ever experienced at any hotel. He was extremely helpful to us on many different occasions and was by far the friendliest and most gracious manager we have encountered. This was our first trip to Vietnam and Hanoi can be rather intimidating. Mr. Nguyen Hoang helped us in planning excursions from Hanoi, helped us get around and find what we were looking for in Hanoi, and always saw to it that we were well taken care of at the hotel itself, in a warm and professional way. I must also say that the doormen, valets, drivers, restaurant staff and maids were also very friendly and welcoming. In addition, we really liked the fact that computers are provided in each room, and the location of the hotel is excellent. We will definitely be coming back to the Hanoi Elegance 2 on our next trip to Hanoi and will recommend it to our friends. |

Erg vriendelijk en hulpvaardig personeel. Doen al het mogelijke om het de gasten naar de zin te maken. Bagage kan gratis achtergelaten worden tijdens Halong cruise. Vuile was voor cruise afgegeven weer schoon na terugkomst. Per persoon wordt er vers ontbijt gemaakt (bv pannenkoek of toast). Kamers aan achterkant hotel geen straatlawaai (is enorm in Hanoi!).Gratis internet op kamer. Ontbijt kan soms wat lang duren, omdat alles per persoon vers klaargemaakt wordt. Even iets om rekening mee te houden als je een tour geboekt hebt. |
