Not much. A few of the staff were pleasant but not all and not all of the time. Location in old quarter is the only thing going for this equal of a 1 star Italian Pensione of the 80'S. The room was not what we booked and the staff were less than helpful with making amends. The manager had to be involved and did not do much to remedy the situation until the day before we left which was too late. All in all a very uncomfortable stay with no window to the outside and air conditioning that kept being switched off by the staff at the front desk by remote switch !!!! The breakfast was minimal and served not buffet and there was little choice.

This hotel is located right in the heart of the Old Quarter so we only had to step outside to be amongst it. We had two overnight stays at this hotel staying in two different family suites. Both rooms were spacious and comfortable and very quiet despite the chaos outside. All the staff were very freindly, the front desk staff spoke good English and nothing was too much trouble. Our first stay and first suite was faultless. The bathoom in the suite we were appointed during our second stay was not as nice as the first. There appeared to be water seepage problems in one corner which left the ceiling mouldy and damp (it was raining during our visit). Housekeeping had left the clean bathtowels stacked on the towel rack against this wall and when we went to use them the next morning we found them saturated, having soaked up the moisture seeping down the wall. The towels were replaced promptly and the dampness didn't cause us any further problems. The only other downside was the hot water ran out very quickly after only a few minutes into the first shower. We had to wait about 20 minutes between showers for the water to reheat. We didn't experience any of these problem in our original room.

Extremley pleasant and helpful staff. I celebrated my birthday during our stay and on return to the hotel that evening I was presented with a Birthday Cake. The facilities were great in the hotel from the swimming pool to the free internet in the bedroom and they also arranged airport pick up and day trips for us. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and it was great value for money.

It was fantastic, low cost too and I strongly recommend it. Location ideal and staff very helpful and friendly. Collection from airport was worth it too. Breakfast simple but sufficient. Pool lovely in the heat and all rooms air conditioned with safes in rooms (important).

The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful (eg going out to get post cards when we had forgotten them). The location of the hotel right in the 'Old quarter' was excellent to experience the vietnamese culture. Very close to the night markets - good for shopping and eating out on the street as the locals do, but close enough to restaurants and local attractions. Has a small pool useful for cooling off after the hot busy hanoi streets. I think a family with young children might find the location a bit daunting because of the narrow streets and traffic, so may motorbikes. For the excellent price the room was beautifully presented with finishing touches that you would expect in higher star hotel eg toiletries, toothbrushes, razors etc, a fruit bowl every day and very comfy beds. Having a computer in the room with free internet access was also a bonus. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

We stayed 3 nights at the Hotel, and we had a really very good time, the location was perfect in the old quarter but not right where all the hotels are. The street around the hotel are very busy and full of local and colourful life, very close to the night market and a regular rather big market. The hotel is very quiet, the room spacious and perfect for the 4 of us and it was a real bonus to be able to relax in the swimingpool after a day walking around Hanoi, which is an incredibly busy city. The hotel staff was absolutely charming and extremely helpful. We would certainly go back there if we ever go back to Hanoi.

The staff were marvelous fabulous with the children and with changed travel plans. Talk to Lisa she can arrange everything. There are no connecting rooms but they put you on the same floor and we had a reliable eleven year old who shared a room with the little ones.

Uitstekende locatie in oude wijk.

Rapport qualite/prix excellent.
