Comfortable and large rooms, excellent free breakfast. All travel needs within the one hotel in regards to tours etc. The standout here is the staff, they will go out of their way to do anything for you. The reception girls have good english.

We really enjoyed our time in Hanoi Rendezvous Hotel. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with a smile and our bags taken to our room. The room was clean, tidy and spacious with all applicances that you would expect from any hotel. The free breakfast was much appreciated for those on a budget. The staff were more than helpful with any questions or queries we had. With no lift and a room on the fifth floor, it sometimes was a struggle to get back up the stairs given the humidity!

The location of the hotel was very good in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. The staff were so friendly and helpful - this really made our holiday - especially when they came to wave me off when I was leaving for the airport. I can't recommend this hotel enough as a budget hotel for value for money, cleanliness and such lovely staff.

There was a good selection of menu items to choose from for breakfast. Overall, the staff was very friendly and tried hard to please the guests, although sometimes their english was weak. Our only complaint was that we left on two separate mornings for 2-day excursions, and the hotel didn't return our passports to us - it's a good thing we had planned on returning to that hotel regardless!

A welcoming, homely kind of place. Everyone is really helpful.. I'm a first time traveler so I needed it! Great breakfast to kick off the day. Big clean rooms, nice hot showers. The first night of my stay was in a room on the road. A little noisy, but that's just Hanoi. Rooms in the back were a lot quieter.

A good selection of free breakfasts. Fast computers and Wi-Fi on most floors. No elevator, so choose a low floor. Also very noisy due to ongoing construction work nextdoor from at least 6am to late, so bring your ear plugs if your planning a trip here soon. Also, don't opt for any rooms on the 2nd floor, since you'll either have to contend with the traffic noise or that of the cleaners/breakfast staff, who also rise early. If you take a trip to Halong Bay, don't go luxury, it's a rip-off. (Calypso and Oriental Sails, to be avoided) You're better off shopping around on the internet.

This is a budget hotel which is very well run. Great breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. They organised our tour to Halong Bay and Taxi to and from airport very efficiently. If I visit Hanoi again, I would stay there. There were building refurbishment in the building next door though not the hotel's fault. No lift but as we are old and decrepit we only had to go up one floor :o)
