Score from 158 reviews Very good
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location not far from silk street :)
staff very polite and so helpfull.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, location ideal for exploring old quarter. Room was comfortable and clean.
The bathroom was a bit dated but adequate, would benefit from a mirror in main room.
I travelled with a group of friends and only had a couple of days in Hanoi, so the hotel's central location made exploring the city so much easier. It was within walking distance to the French Quarter and also the lake. The staff were always friendly, attentive, and so helpful in recommending places to eat and visit. The the beds were clean and comfy, as were the bathrooms.
Friendly staff, location, breakfast
The location is perfect for exploring the old quarter. The staff couldnt be more helpful, very nice people and nothing is too much trouble for them. The breakfast is a buffet breakfast with a number of options to chose from. Room is spacious, wifi is good in the room and good selection of channels on tv
We found noise to be a bit of a problem in the hallway and stairwell in the mornings, not sure if this was down to inconsiderate guests or an echo from the walls
この季節ハノイは寒く暖房が故障して、目の前で修理しても駄目だった。 部屋も替えてもらえなかった。 値引きする話もしてもらえなかった。 Hanoi was cold, and a heater broke down in this season and was no use even if I repaired it in front of eyes. I did not have you exchange the room. I did not have you tell that you reduced the price.
the staff was really friendly and professional. the manger (a lady i don't remember her name) is one of the nicest , most helpful people you'd meet. The location is great, in the middle of everything there's to see in Hanoi. The breakfast was excellent. overall, very good value for money. would definitely recommend this hotel It made us feel at home and provided a soft landing at this "crazy" place- Hanoi
the room was'n't that big and pretty basic. elevator doesn't go up to the 6 floor so had to carry the luggage from 5 to 6 floor by ourselves. besides that, everything was great.
The hotel was located in a good area of the Old Quarter. Close enough to all the areas and shopping precinct; walking distance. Breakfast was good, service was good and I would recommend this hotel as a base. We stayed 15 nights but travelled to other places from the hotel and used it as a base. When in Hanoi it was a great place to stay.
Shame about the renovations going on next door, but we were warned and they seemed to be monitoring the times that the 'thump, thump, thump machines' started and finished.
I loved that the staff were very friendly and helpful and that the hotel was within the old quarter so we were able to experience the culture fully. I loved that the double glazed windows/door locked out nearly all the outside noise for a good sleep.
We had troubles with internet connection within the room so needed to go downstairs to the foyer for a proper connection. Also as we get up late in the morning most of the hot breakfast food has gone but they do make a mean omelette on request. So my advice here is to get up early for the breakfast. On the day I rose early and went down to breakfast it was great.
Staff were very friendly, assisted with tour bookings and room requests, location was excellent, room was a good size and felt secure!
Room was not fully sound proof, but it didn't bother us much. Blankets were a bit thin but more layers were quickly provided by staff.
- Nice rooms - buffet breakfast
- noisy hotel - the tours offered in the hotel are really expensive compared to the ones you can get in Mamay St. Go there and all the tourist agencies sell packages cheaper...
Ideal to explore old city and markets. Good welcome and comfort. Excellent breakfast.
Rooms marked as being with City View not worth having as all you see is dull roof tops..
I picked this hotel because it has bathtubs. It is so nice to soak in after a long day of sightseeing. I only stayed one night but recommend highly.
The reception people do not know the rooms well. I was disappointed at first when told there was no tub in a room I booked. She suggested an upgrade which I declined. I was happily surprised when I found a tub in a room after all.
Staff and the coffee as soon as you come in the hotel, the kindness of the whole staff . Location was perfect for the old quarter, busy street but sleeping was just fine. No noise heard.
All was fine
nice breakfast, very friendly staff, very good location! The manager helped us to organize our trip to Halong Bay and offered us to split our stay at the hotel in order to take advantage of the good weather there which was about to change according to the forecast. After our return from Halong Bay we got a room upgrade. They helped us also to book train and bus tickets for our further journey.
Definitely the friendliest hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff were very helpful in every way. The hotel is close to all the attractions only a walking distance away. We recommend this hotel and its excellent staff to everyone.
Location. Location. Location. Welcome. Cleanliness. Breakfast. Bathroom. All good.
There isn't much to complain regarding the price asked. Room is spacious , not shining clean but clean enough. AC is cold and water is hot. Good breakfast. Very friendly staff.
For the facilities and hardware, it is at most a 7 out of 10 in an absolute standard for a 3-star hotel but I could not bear to criticize, not for the price I paid.
This hotel is great for the price. The location is perfect. The staff are extremely helpful, nothing is too big or small! Would definitely return to this hotel. Thank you!
Very nice place
The staff made our stay with their hospitality. The beds are quite hard. Lovely and clean. Very central to the old quarters. Would definitely stay again.
The bed was a bit hard but we managed by folding the duvet up and using it as an under blanket.
Squeaky clean, lots of space in the rooms, HUGE breakfast buffet with fresh fruit, juice, coffee, eggs cooked to order and loads of other options. Easy to walk everywhere in the Old Quarter. Excellent, friendly staff.
Very friendly and helpful staff, Great location in the old quarter, nice touches in the honeymoon suite on arrival (wine, cake & fresh fruit
A small point - Honeymoon suite could do with a fresh decoration. As we also stayed in another room for a few hours at a later date which looked much more up to date.
Very friendly and helpful staff who organised some trips for us. They even sent somebody with a motorbike to follow our bus and deliver an ipod which my daughter had forgotten in the room! Some rooms are quite big, others have a reasonable size - but all rooms that we had were clean and very good value (we returned twice to the hotel and had each time 3 rooms). Location is in the north of the old quarter - close to a market. I definitely recommend this hotel!
The hotel seems to be a bit the victim of its own success: as it is a very popular hotel they seem to be sometimes struggling to deal with the many guests: we had some issues with the availability of rooms which we had pre-booked. However the staff was very helpful in those situations and immediately offered us acceptable alternatives - for one night one of the rooms was even upgraded to the honeymoon suite (an excellent room!). The breakfast buffet could be improved: the range of food that was on offer is good - however if something (like bread) ran out it took a long time to get it replenished.
