Location. Also, the young lady at the Business Centre was very helpful, particularly on the evening of Friday 5th August. She really went out of her way to locate some restaurants that sell "banh beo" for me (I googled but couldn't find them). Room service gave me a couple of free crossants when I ordered a Vietnamese ice coffee, so that was nice. Practically everything, except the two points above! The hotel is very dated and the rooms are smelly, carpet is filthy and needs replacing. The gym is very small and not properly equipped/ not well ventilated. The spa is atrocious and not properly staffed (I made a booking in advance and yet when I turned up, no one was there to attend to me. I waited in this dingy room that was poorly decorated - I felt like I was in a prison cell. I gave up after waiting for 15 mins and no-one even came to keep me informed as to what was going on). I'd rate this hotel more like a 3-star and not the 4.5 star hotel that they claim to be.

Its central location in the French Quarter, close to upmarket shops, restaurants, as well as only a short walking distance to the Lake and the Old Quarter which is a vibrant area, also full of shops, bars and the lower end of the scale restaurants but of good quality too.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, in the heart of the city. The inside of the hotel was disappointing, very cold and business like. No Vietnamese feel to it.

ホアンキエムから徒歩10分あまりのショッピングにはもってこいの場所にあります。今回エグゼクティブルー- ムを予約しましたが、部屋の広さ、アメニティー、ラウンジでのお酒や軽食の品数の多さなど大変満足いくもの- であった。 当サイトでの予約価格と，ホテルからの確認メールでの価格に違いがあったため、チェックイン時にその旨申し- 出て、返事を待ったが音沙汰なし。チェックアウト時にカウンターにいた女性スタッフとやり取りするが、納得- 行く説明はなく、聞こえよがしなため息など、不愉快極まりないものであった。結局、ホテル側の間違いで、返- 金はされたが、せっかくの楽しかった気分が台無しになった。ホテルはハード面だけがよければ良いのではなく- 、人と人のやり取りや、ホスピタリティーがとても重要だと思う。これ以外は満足だったので、よけい残念でな- らない。

....die Zentrale Lage ermöglicht es im Verkehrschaos Hanoim schnell an seine Ziele in der Stadt zu gelangen. Meetings sind leicht, da jeder Vitnamese das Hotel kennt. Das Managment ist sehr gut und aufmerksam, allerdings Receptionisten und lokale Mitarbeiter sind schlecht geschult. Das Savoi würde ich bei meinem nächsten Besuch präverieren.

“Very professional and helpful staff. We really enjoyed the location, as itr is in a nice area that allows you to pull away from the noisy (and bustling) part of the city, which still remains the main attraction and that is 7 minutes away on foot.
