Rach Gia is very nice and happy place.
Rach Gia is very nice and happy place. Everything is near and there are plenty of options of restaurants and cafes. Locals don't speak much english, but are very eager to help and to make us feel welcome. Kids were saying "hello!" every time we passed and it was cute.

The place is basically a stop to go to the islands especially Phu Quoc since the ferry is in the morning and afternoon. Usually you will miss the departure time if you are coming from Can Tho or Saigon(Ho Chi Minh City) Nothing much in the city and nothing much to see.

There's a shopping centre and ATM across the road and a Mini Mart not far away. Nice little cafe with friendly staff at the end of the street. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful and spoke English, we felt very safe and secure there. Rach Gia is a nice little city with a huge variety of seafood restaurants. The city looks great at night as there are so many lights strung up.
