Hoang Hai Long South Hotel  

For the price we paid, we are satisfied with the size of the room, the cleanliness and the location. Breakfast is quite good.

Dont go for the massage at mimosa ( in the hotel) if you are a female. No privacy. I was so embarrassed. There is only make shift partitions that will still expose the customer to the other customers and staff, especially when they walk past.

Internet was not always as fast as it could be. A bit too crowded during breakfast

Excellent services, the elegant suite is large and clean. Very good breakfast and close to Benthanh and Saigon square shopping centre.

If you need a family suite, ask for the top floor. The first floor has all the AC outlets that just right outside the family suite. It is extremely noisy. If you can, go for the elengant suite which is worth for the money.

Room and especially the toilet are very spacious and clean. Very friendly staff. 5 minute walk to market, restaurants, tour office. Breakfast is excellent. Dinner is good and reasonably priced. Airport pickup/transfer by hotel is recommended for stress free travel.

Hotel entrance has flight of steps. Not wheelchair friendly

The service is excellent, the breakfast was a vast selection of local and western options, the in hotel spa was EXCELLENT, very cheap and I found Mr Binh Thong to be more of a chiropractioner / masseur Excellent value for money.

The children liked it but wish there was a pool.

All staff were so very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. We had 2 young kids and 2 elderly persons with us and all of them liked the hotel.

I requested a room and opposite wall with windows with a view of the city but instead had a view of the aircon units. The other room my mum had no windows. However this was not a big problem.

I had stayed at the Hoang Hai Long South hotel with my family of 2 adults & 2 kids at the family suite during my trip in hcmc from 24 to 28 December 2012, it has been a very lovely and satisfying stay indeed! I was actually not expecting much from a 3-star hotel but to my surprise the hotel looked nice & well-maintained and the room was spotless & sparkling clean! Moreover, I’m pleased to find that the hotel’s location is very accessible to some major shopping malls like Vincom, Parkson and Zen plaza and Cho Ben Thanh night markets. One of their staff went beyond my expectations by offering us his kind assistance during a critical time when my son fell ill. Not only was the staff so initiative & helpful, he was also quick-minded to provide us with helpful suggestions. Also, all the receptionist staff spoke good English and were very friendly & always smiling!

The staff were very helpful & friendly. They really made us feel at home & assist us whenever we need one ie help explain to taxi drivers our destination(s), local tour arrangement, small item purchase, airport transfer etc. The hotel is located less than 5 minutes walking distance to Ben Thanh Market, just 10 minutes away from the Grand Water Puppet Theater, the War Remnants Museum, the Reunification House & few other attractions in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Inspite of the walking distance, reliable taxi are always available 24 hrs infront of the hotel. The lobby is not big, but just perfect for a 3 star city hotel. The internet station at the lobby makes the best out of it. The family suite we stayed was big enough & comfortable, with a jacuzzi in the bathroom.

The lobby of Hoang Hai Long 1 & Hoang Hai Long South is different but interconnected through the restaurant. This is bit confusing for any first timer.

The description of the superior room on booking.com is wrong! It is a description of delux room! Superior rooms don't have windows nor bathtub. I reported the problem to the hotel stuff and they offered me a deluxe room in the same price: very nice of them. This is a bit more budget-friendly division of hoang hai long hotel. Generally everything was fine and stuff is also very helpful and professional, but I'd recommend spending a bit more and staying and staying at hoang hai long which provides much greater comfort and luxury.

L'absence de fenêtre bien que cela soit indiqué a la réservation .on nous a proposé une autre chambre avec fenêtre sur couloir ...

O quarto reservado nao corresponde a realidade, eis que apesar de informado "city view", sequer havia janela. Apos reclamacao,recebemos free up grade.

Больше ничего хорошего. Вся вода из ванной вытекает на пол. Крохотный номер с видом на стену соседнего здания (до которого полметра), хотя при бронировании было указано, что вид будет на Хошимин.

Отличная 3*. Есть вайфай, отличные завтраки, экскурсионный стол. В шаговой доступности всё что нужно. По вечерам можно просто бродить в окрестностях отеля, очень интересно.

Улучшенные номера совсем маленькие, реально метров 12. Окно в упор в стену соседнего здания. Лучше брать какой супериор... Простыли за три дня от кондишена, так как комната маленькая.

Läget perfekt, mitt i stan. Vänlig och serviceinriktad personal. Extremt prisvärt.

Rummet inte städat när vi kom, ett misstag de snabbt fixade för övrigt. Det saknades handdukar, vi var fyra men fick bara två.
