Hoi An Hotel  

Holding our luggage for us before and after check in. Good taxi service to airport. Helpful staff.

Free upgrade to a room but this room had ants and some light building happening outside. So we asked to change to the room we had originally booked.

Room next to the road can hear vehicle & people talking noise.

Beauiful place, nice pool

Staff not very proactive. Gym is not there (there is something, but you don't want to go there)

Well designed, spacious hotel set out in well kept garden surrounds. Clean, pleasant and easy walking distance to Hoi An local attractions. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Restaurant and bar staff were polite and attentive.

Front desk staff, although polite, were too abrupt and inattentive for my liking. On the few occasions I dealt with them, they seemed more interested in finishing their chats with each other before attending to my needs. For a hotel that has obviously made some effort to provide such pleasant gardens and rooms, I was very dissapointed to find that my room (271) did not have any wifi signal. I had to go to the foyer to access the internet. Surely this is a prerequisite for any decent hotel these days? This hotel just falls short of being value for money in my opinion.

The staff, the noise level outside of the room, room comfort - bed and price.

This is a very nice hotel. The location is great, with a 5 min walk into the old town. The grounds are quite large, so the hotel is fairly quiet and the rooms were big and comfortable. The hotel (the reception and the wing we stayed in) felt quite new and modern. We would happily stay here again.

We had some issues with the Internet tv in the room, but that was probably a good thing (I don't like the distraction).

Although we got a free upgrade we were first located in a parterre room next to the pool were the windows "closed" with a great gap so that the room was invaded by moscitos. On our demand we got relatively easy a room on a higher level where the (construction-related) gap was still existing but smaller and no moscitos counts at least... A room of the older buildung was demonstrated before and showed a dim place exposed to a noisy school yard...luckily we insisted successfully in another option mentioned above. We enjoyed the final room which included a really nice in-room bathtub and good bedding until the very early morning when workers started their street-construction-work above our window which gave us the impression of hard machines and trucks crossing our room so that our sleep ended 7am. The staff told us something about a road to be finshed before the beginning of the next moon year but we neither had the energy to get our stuff packed another time to change the room nor waited until the exposed date... Breakfast is mediocre but somehow ok. Service non-existing whilst rushhours at breakfast time. We still enjoyed our stay as it is an affordable option and the location is rather good.

It for-filled all our expectations. It is close to the heart of Hoi An shopping, minutes from the Market and river scene, and central to all our activities (which were many). The food was the best of our Vietnam hotel stays. Our room was large, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel facilities lacked nothing. Breakfast was a great meeting place for new friends. Hoi An, and our stay at the Hoi An Hotel, was the best of our travel experiences through Vietnam.

Nice, colonial type hotel, placed near the touristic atractions of Hoi An. Large and high rooms with impresive dark colour massive furniture. A gorgeous breakfast both English and Asian to choose from. The pool might be a nice place in summer.Thehotel has a shuttle bus that takes you to the beach.

Do not consider to use the mini-bar. Prices are 5 times the one in town. Allthou the booking was guaranteed they ask me at check-in to pay in advance.

Everythings was perfect ! Very quiet place in the center of Hoi An.

House keeping done extremely quickly ....

Good value for money. Excellent location walking distance to village centre and good restaurant on site.

The bedding could need a little upgrading.
