Hoi An Pacific Hotel  

I liked everything. The pool and garden were lovely. The rooms were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The staff were great, always helpful. There were lots of little restaurants on the street, along with spas and shops. The hotel is located about halfway between Hoi An and the beach, so the hotel ran regular shuttles to the beach and back, and to Hoi An and back--very convenient. The private beach was nice and there were lots of restaurants on the beach. There was a little mini- mart next to the hotel where we could buy water, snacks, batteries, suntan lotion, etc., which was also very convenient.

The staff were friendly and it was a good distance from the city centre. The food was delicious at the hotel restaurant. It was clean and the rooms were beautiful.

I found some of the staff untrustworthy. I felt I needed to put everything I owned in a safe. I had a pendant taken from my bags while staying at the hotel.

We might liked it with other staff.

We did not like the hotel staff, we complained about the price that was different than when we booked. The receptionist was unpolite when we notice her about that. Her english was verry bad, so we left from the hotel with a bad feeling. And the luggage carrier was unpolite too. So think twice before booking there, we are never going back.

Very nice hotel and facilities. Free all-day breakfast is great for those who miss usual 10am end to breakfast.

Receptionist a little grumpy. Hotel located a little out of town, but easily reached by taxi or motorbike.

The staff at Hoi An pacific was exceptionel! Beach is realy nice.

Hotel was very nice. It's located about a 20 minute walk from the old town, however the hotel provides a shuttle service which can be handy for when your feeling lazy. Free bikes also available. Rooms were very comfortable. But the best part of this hotel has to be it's private beach which is simply stunning.

Prices are expensive for food, drink and laundrey services. However there are several cheap restaurants across the road which also provide a cheap laundry service. Also the shuttle bus timetable into town is a bit obscure. If you want to go into the old town in the evening you are only given the options of 5pm and 8pm.

Lovely friendly staff, free use of bicycles

If you cycle to their 'private' beach using the free hotel bicycles, be aware that you have to take towels from the hotel poolside with you, as none are provided for you at the beach.

I have stayed in many hotels over the years but I must say the service and the quality of everthing this hotel has to offer is exceptional.I will stay at this hotel everytime I am in Hoi an and would recommend this Hotel to everyone.Great job Pacific keep up the great work. I stayed in the Villa but the rooms are just as nice I treated myself normally I would stay in superior room. No matter which you choose your stay will be perfect at the Pacific.

I must say I made a good choice in Hoi an Pacific after a careful review from other traveler's comments. The location of my villa room was nice on the ground floor and with direct access to the swimming pool. Room is spacious and has tea/coffee making facility. Bathroom amenities are okay (must provide cotton buds too) with towels of good quality. Shuttle service to old town is very convenient. They charge vnd30,000 (us$1.5) for transfers to town out of the shuttle schedule. Bicycles are free of charge. Nice views of town from roof top restaurant which provides Cham traditional dance performance nightly. Bbq at us$6 on weekends with 1 local beer. Room safe was also provided. Overall, I recommend this hotel to other travelers.

Addtional shuttle service to town must be provided at 6 and 7pm for guest convenience. The toilet bowl and shower area are located in 1 enclosure hence it gets very wet.Massage/spa services are quite expensive for my budget.

Well during my two weeks exploration of Vietnam staying at the Hoi An Pacific was definitely a bit of indulgence at affordable rates. I normally avoid 4 & 5 stars rated hotels,but I definitely felt at ease here. It was very relaxed with friendly ,polite and helpful staff. Breakfast was wonderful and one is spoiled for choice! Location is great too for access to beach or to the centre. Hotel provides bus shuttle and free bike use. A taste of luxury !!!!!!

The only minor disappointment was the free wifi was not available in my room. The signal strength was very low,however I hasten to add that this may just be an issue for the room's location. As I got a better signal when I tested reception in the hall. Anyway there are several free computers in the lobby & comfy sofas to surf away on personal lap tops.

hoi an the tourist bit is nice but the town and market is dirty saw more rats here than anywhere else in vietnam

Super fine service - thanks to Kathy & Teppy & my friendly driver for making my day - super breakfast, free bikes when available, shuttle to beach and city foc, nice quiet place, bit of a walk to the markets and the old part of Hoi An so get a bicycle itll make it much easier to get around.
