It's all about the friendly, efficient staff. Adquate breakfast comfortable beds, funny attack showers that will blast you out of the cubicle and lash out all over the bathroom.

If you have a problem ith stairs it's not for you.

From the time we were picked up at the airport until lwe left all the staff were very friendly and helpful with any requests and questions put to them. Hotel situated in good location with restaurants and shops close by. Would definetely stay there again.

The staff were amazing and could not do enough to help, they helped wherever they could and made a real effort to make the stay in Hanoi as enjoyable as possible - saving us a trip to the train station by booking tickets for a later lag and giving us good great recommendations all round- brilliant first couple of days in Vietnam!

The staff and service was the best we encountered in Vietnam and that is saying a lot as we found the service great almost everywhere. They happily booked all our excursions, gave recommendations, twice fed us breakfast when we came in early and did not merit having it until the next day. They let us shower when in transit one day. The whole staff always had a smile on their face even as they worked hard and long hours. They made our stay in Hanoi extremely comfortable.

Absolutely the best service we have received anywhere. They arranged all our excursions, picked us up at the train early in the morning, found us another hotel for a night when they had no room and then brought our bags back to the Holiday Gold when we were off on an excursion. Twice they gave us breakfast when we arrive very early in the mornining as well as breakfast the next day which is the only one included. They let us take a shower even though we were not staying until 4 days later. The staff is always smiling and helpful. Home away from home.

Fantastic location and wonderful staff who went out of their way to make our stay the best possible. The best hotel we have stayed at in Vietnam. Stored our luggage when we went to Sapa and Halong Bay and let us use a room to shower. Totally recommend it

Very warm welcome ! We do recommand this place which is clean and well situated in the old quarter.

Wij kwamen erg vroeg aan 07.00 na een vermoeiende busreis vanaf hue. Er was op dat moment uiteraard nog geen kamer vrij. We mochten wel onze tassen al laten staan en om 09.00 uur was onze kamer al gereed! In hue hadden wij een trip geboekt naar halong bay. Dit vertelde we aan het meisje achter de balie die op haar beurt even rond ging bellen. Het bleek dat we bij een erg slechte touropperator geboekt hadden ( joytravel). Het meisje achter de balie heeft daarna voor ons geregeld dat de tour bij joytravel opgezegd werd en we met een andere tour meekonden die echt fantastisch was!! We zijn het personeel zeer dankbaar en zouden dit hotel aan iedereen aanraden! Ze helpen je met alles en denken echt met je mee! Alwin en karen ( holland)

Her firsatta bir arzumuz olup olmadigini sordular ve bazi ikramlarindan para dahi istemediler. 22 gunluk gezimiz boyunca ilk kez karsilastigimiz bir durum idi. Konumu da cok merkezi yerde ve her yere cok yakindi. Fiatlari da verdigi hizmete ve ulkenin ve Tayland in diger yerlerindeki benzerlerine gore cok uygun.

Sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück, sehr gute Lage in der Altstadt.

Wir mussten eine Nacht in einem schlechten Zimmer unter dem Dach verbringen und dann umziehen obwohl vor vier Monaten gebucht.

I can just recommend this hotel. Everything was absolutely perfect. Very nice staff, good breakfast, perfect location - just about 10 min to the centre.

The hotel bathroom can be a little bit cleaner.

La cosa più bella oltre alla posizione, alla pulizia, al confort e' stata la straordinaria disponibilità e gentilezza dello staff con in testa il Sig. Thanh. Ci hanno consigliato al meglio su tutte le nostre richieste, dalle escursioni ai biglietti del treno. Veramente bravissimi. Il tutto per 23 dollari a camera compresa colazione.

Tutto perfetto, ci hanno dato pure, al ritorno dalla baia di Halong, una camera per la doccia sena chiedere niente.

En total en vietnam estuvimos en unos 6 hoteles, y todos de características parecidas y muy muy d lejos este ha sido el mejor, sobre todo por el personal del hotel, son encantadores, muy dispuestos y siempre te intentan agradar. Les doy un 10, si volviera a hanoi volvería a este hotel, la ubicación es fantástica y esta muy limpio. Ojala todos los hoteles tuvieran la capacidad de tratar así a sus clientes. Muy bien por este hotel.

Un hotel increible para su precio, las habitaciones geniales con gran gusto, con buenas calidades, buenos muebles y personalidad en la decoracion, buena cama, buen cuarto de bano. 100% recomendable sin temor a equivocarme.

мы остановились здесь всего на один день, поэтому и не стали уже менять отель, иначе точно бы переехали. сантехника старая, краны отваливались, вода из крана долгое время текла с каким-то черным песком, постельное белье какое то серое. не знаю, может нам номер дали самый старый, остальные лучше, но не стали уже уточнять. жили мы четвертом этаже, лифта нет.

Die eindringliche Empfehlung einer Suppenküche, die uns nicht besonders gut gefallen hat und in der wir viel zu viel gezahlt haben, wurde aber immer wieder empfohlen

Alles war grossartig, vor allem der Service und die Beratung bei der Buchung der Ausfluege und Weiterreise. Wir wurden sogar um 5 Uhr morgens vom Bahnhof abgeholt und konnten unser geraeumiges, ruhiges Zimmer bereits wieder beziehen. Super Lage, gutes Fruehstueck, immer freundliches und fuersorgliches Personal, in jedem Fall empfehlenswert.

Staff were extremely helpful, on our arrival the girl on the desk managed to book us onto a tour for the next day.

Our room had a small balcony which is a rarity this close to the centre of town but a real bonus for us as we love people-watching.

they went out of their way to be helpful with smiles all the time. we todl them it was our 25th wedding anniverary and we were upgraded to a nice quiet room with lots of facilities. They greeted us in our room with a cake and candles, flowers and rose petals on the bed! And really seemed to be chuffed to have us stayhing with them. all the staff seem to know aoubt our anniversay\ry! notheing was too much trouble and I would have no hesitation in recommenidng htem.

we were moved form the poriginal hotel we had booked to another round the corner and were originally a bit usspicious but all ended well.
