Our family stayed here for 2 nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were in good condition. Location is perfect for sight-seeing and shopping. Totally worth our money.

Air conditioners took long time to cool the room. There was only one waste bin in the toilet. There should be another one in the room.

Deluxe room with window facing street was very good indeed. Can't comment on other rooms. We had a very happy few days there. Budget friendly, very helpful staff indeed and excellent location.

Where do I begin? I do not see how this hotel has 3 stars, nor where it got all the positive reviews. I consider this a backpacker hotel, worth maybe 1 star. Stayed in a family room with the spouse and 2 eleven year old twins. The bathroom was filthy, mold all over the shower wall and shower curtain. Staff tried to reclean, but they finally went out and bought a new shower curtain. So they get points for trying. The warm water only lasts a few minutes. Water from the sink chugged and coughed before it would flow. Towels very stained. When we arrived, we were hit up to book tours, before being allowed to go to our room. This was the only hotel during our trip to Vietnam that did this. We had previously booked tours, so we did not utilize them, it was a massive waste of our limited time. Breakfast appears good, but I got a major case of food poisoning from the chicken pho. It is 8 days later now, and I still can not eat. I lost several days of my vacation due to the severity of the food poisoning, flying home was very uncomfortable...who likes being sick on the plane? I guess the best I can say is that I returned home slimmer than when I left. Oh, while lying in bed sick, I would watch rats chasing each other on the electrical wires right outside the room window. Nice. Do not stay here.

Ideally located in the more quiet old town area of Hanoi-convenient to shopping and history. We will most certainly stay at this hotel on our next visit to Hanoi.

We stayed for 3 nights, each time in a different room, as we did overnight trips from Hanoi. The deluxe rooms are waaaaaaaaaaay better than the cheaper superior rooms, which don't have any windows and were really smelly. One night they put us in a superior room instead of deluxe and it was very bright (window out to halway and randomly also into someone else's room but covered in paper) it meant it was very noisy and bright, we could hear everything from the other room! Hotel was apologetic though when we mentioned this to them and even gave us a nice present. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Fantastic location very easy to find with the church as a landmark and quieter street.

One of the staff was quite pushy with purchasing trips to halong bay and sa pa with them, got a bit grumpy when we booked sa pa with someone else. Ended up booking ha long bay with them, was way more expensive than others but was really good.

As a budget hotel the fascilities and location couldn't be beaten. I was made so very welcome by the entire staff - I felt as though I was coming home everytime I arrived back. They arranged a pick up for me which was efficient and very reasonably priced. I arranged a trip through them which was really good and I got exactly what was advertised. I stupidly forgot some small items in the room and they posted them on to my next hotel. I cannot recommend this hotel (now called The Aquarius) highly enough and I will certainly stay there again when in Hanoi. Thanks to all the staff - you made my visit so very special.

I like everything in it. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The place is so comfortable, clean, well-equipped and in a good location. The food is excellent too. The rate is reasonable. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and I would love to go back to Vietnam and stay in the same hotel.

Good location.

Shower. When we arrived no hot water. This was fixed in few hours, but the water came out with very low speed.

The staff of the hotel was just great, everybody very helpful, direkt and nice. Breakfast was absolutly tasty and rich. The location of the hotel is perfect.

The staff in indochina hotel were amazing, very very friendly and a pleasure in dealing with. We were so impressed we came back and stayed there again after our halong bay cruise. The location is quite strategic, nearby a beautiful church, rooms were clean and ours was upgraded to deluxe with no extra charge. The breakfast was also very tasty and there was a variety tp choose from. We were offered taxi service from the hotel to the airport for only 10 dollars. I would definitely stay here again if im in hanoi. Plus i would like to thank all the stuff (Ms. Huang and tge rest) for the awesome service throughout our stay.

Staff were friendly. I had an issue with stolen rail tickets and they took me to the Police Station on their motor bike. For what it is worth I ended up at 3 different police stations in Vietnam and got no assistance at all. Very keen on selling day tours etc. and we were talked into going to Halong Bay in quite bad weather, then the sun came out when we got back! Still worth the trip though.

We loved this hotel. The staff was wonderful, location perfect, room lovely and clean, breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. The owner even sent us a thank you letter for chosing her hotel. It was perfect and really cheap.

extremely friendly staff it made you feel at home. It strategically placed in the most touristic area in Hanoi...just o few minutes walk from all the sites

We like it everything in the hotel

It's a 3 star hotel but it feels like a 5 star! Every single person in the staff go the extra mile. We arrived on 31st December and we were invited to a reception/buffet with all the other guests. It was great! Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so special.

Really? 9 on the review? I really start to believe that hotel staff are logging on booking.com to post fake reviews... This is a OK hotel, in a central location in Hanoi. Maybe in another universe this hotel would get a 9 on the review scale... The room we book was supposed to be a double one. In reality there were two single beds joined together. The only window of the room was looking on the, narrow, corridor and anyone could see inside. The bathroom was less than ok. Overall I was REALLY disappointed on paying 36$ for this room and I moved on one of the hotels across the street, with 40$ you get a real double bed with your own balcony and a clean bathroom. I think that booking.com should monitor who is reviewing the hotels in order to avoid FAKE reviewers. 9? Pfff, no way - no possibility...

The location is great, the hotel room is quite big and extremely clean. The breakfast menu is good, and the price is really good for what it is.

It was quite cold, and there was no heather... I guess you can ask for that at reception but we realized about that too late...
