location was gr8 in the old quarters. it was easy to walk everywhere.... the staff were helpful when needed. We asked for a regular taxi to leave to the airport with a meter. The hotel man sadi yes for sure and ends up calling his friend to pick us up with another hotel's car. We argued and got a fair price, but it felt like we were deceived. |

the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. they booked great, cheap tours even on short notice. they let us check in at 4am and did not charge additionally for that night. they gave us great, honest advice where to travel and the hotel was right in the middle of the old town - the location was great |

We liked being very central to the old Hanoi district. The manager also helped us with finding bookings for day trips and the Halong Bay trip. We were really disappointed after having booked our accomodation and having it confirmed, to find there were no rooms available after we returned from one night away in Halong Bay. We paid a 15% fee since we would not be taking the room for one night but on our return in the evening we were taken to an alternative hotel around the corner. This turned out to be good for us as the Hanoi Capital Hotel was actually much nicer, cleaner, more comfortable and more professional in terms of hotel service. |

We just had a stopover in Hanoi for 2 days and wanted to have a hotel which is located in the city in walk distance to the center... Joy Hotel was a very good choice because the staff is very friendly, the rooms are good and the location is perfect. I would highly recommend this hotel for everybody. |

Very friendly and helpful staff. They picked us up at the train station free of charge and did all they could to help us during our stay. It is a budget hotel but very clean and ideally located in the centre of the Old City. |

Location is perfect, in the heart of the Old Quarter where you can enjoy the streetlife of this city from your balcony ;-) If you are on a 3 or 4 day trip in Hanoi, including for example a visit to Halong Bay, you don't need an expensive hotel. Most of the day you are 'on the road'. The staff is very kind, rooms are simple but clean. Airport pick up if you need. |

Hotel staff Ray, Chuc and Lap's smiling "Good morning Sir". The hotel is at a walking distance of almost all Hanoi's attractions. Good quality/price ratio for a 2 star hotel. The service is very good. It's a fair 2 star hotel, but nothing more. My rooms (actually I had 2) had both false windows giving on a wall. One should check excursions prices on the street before buying them from the hotel agency. |

Location was great, especially they provide us the free pick up from airport with 03 nights booking. The location is also good, quite and convenient for me. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the facilities are exactly what you would expect for such a hotel. Our stay was very enjoyable and we will come again. |
