Bedsheets were not clean Staff not very helpful
Hotel great can walk to river & town.Stayed 4 nts & 1 nt at Kim Lan Homestay easy to arrange at hotel & visiting floating market on way.Our guide Quon alias Johnny was brilliant.Gave us so much information about Vietnam life.At Homestay we went for small boat trip along canals, cooking, fishing, biking&walking.Johnny really looked after us reminding us about sunscreen, mozzie spray etc.Food cooked by the family excellent.A trip not to be missed.
We loved staying here! A welcome drink was really nice gesture, the staff is super friendly and they helped us a lot because we forgot our passports at the previous hotel-they called them and arrang d everything so that we got the passports the same day. The room was clean, we like the satellite tv, bed was nice. Worth staying there!
Good location, clean rooms and two beds in the room, no further space. Good bathroom with hot shower.
They can t live the expectations. Uncomfortable hard beds. Breakfast is poor from a limited menu. BREAD IS NOT FRESH. but bakedoff, fruitjuice although on the menu everyday not available , 4 days, Breakfastroom on rooftop very sparsely furnished. Staff promises they can arrange tours and tickets but seem to lack initiative, skills and or knowledge to do so you have to arrange everything yourself. Only person who had the kwowledge Kim was two days off but was also not provided for her task. The guide for the floating market and night receptionist from Kim Lan was a litle bit sleepy. Promised an upgrade but no response. They didn t want to help when you had booked your travelschedul elsewhere because of lack of interest of other staff.
But no 5-star price. Can't miss here - in any category! Lovely! Safe, secure for solo females. Perfect location. Superb, attentive, responsive management. Good English at reception. Excellent housekeeping. No tour pressure. Delightfully appointed rooms. Art work and greenery throughout the facility. Beautiful gleaming bathrooms. Substantial choices for breakfast in the 8th floor open-air restaurant with great views of the city (misted to keep you cool). Try the pho and caphe sua da. Choose a vip suite for definite, elegant honeymoon quality. (I looked at a few) (Prices for this property change on Booking.com.)
Not one complaint. Stayed 30 days. Would happily do so again.
Staff staff staff
Staff was very friendly, they helped us to book a great excursion on the mekong delta in their own homestay, which was amazing. The room also was great, we booked a standard one but got an upgrade when we arrived. Good location.
Perfect stay for 1 or wo nights
Breakfast could be improved, but for the room price fair ;-)
The staff was kind. It was alright for the money but it was nothing special.
The breakfast was kind of gross. The sheets had a weird design painted on them and it made them a little uncomfortable. The rooms were a little run down but it was alright for the price.
Nice hotel, but what makes it special is the 1,5 days homestay tour. Book it! Informative and in a rural non-tourist area, with great food, really nice accomodation (bamboo bungalows) and an extraordinarily good guide. Definitely a highlight in our Vietnam trip.
Friendly staff and good location. We booked the Homestay based on recommendations below: it was incredible! The Guide Jonny was brilliant and the experience was so genuine and informative. The Homestay accommodation was so remote and beautiful. All the activities were interesting and unique. The locals so friendly and no other tourists! Favourite part of our month in Vietnam. A must do experience! Great value for money.
Hotel wifi was poor (didn't work it the room) and air con very slow.
We got there early, because our flight time changed. Like lots of other reviewers we got a free upgrade to the VIP-room on the 8th floor and could get our room at 9 a.m. instead of 2p.m. We book a day tour, so maybe this helped for the upgrade ;). But nevertheless, the room was fantastic. Large rooftop terrace with wirlpool and a great view over Can Tho. The tour was great too. Kim even sang a song for us.
The staff is really friendly. We've had a free upgrade to the top floor, the suite. Nice room with an outside bathroom and view over the city. The tour we booked with them was great as well, no other tourists along on the trip and we went to see places were no other tourists go to. It's a bit pricy but it's worth every penny. Great experience.
The curtains in the room don't block any light while the windows are quite large, so you get awake early.
- got an upgrade to a bigger room when we checked in - very friendly and helpful staff - clean and comfortable room
Arrange the Mekong delta tour at the hotel. We took the 7 hour tour, but if you have time spend night at their home stay. We had a great day exploring the delta. Ask for the guide Johnny!
Lovely hotel, wonderful staff. We were upgraded to VIP room free of charge (seems to be quite usual). We booked a floating market tour with the hotel (bit more expensive than through a travel agent downtown) and Kim from hotel was our guide. She was perfect, we really loved being with her, we had superb breakfast on the boat, wonderful cake in the noodle place... We definitely recommend this place.
The rooms are really clean and comfortable. The location is really good and you can walk to the riverfront or the local streetfood street. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We booked their floating market tour for 50USD for the two of us and were guided by a super friendly girl that worked at the reception the day before and had great English skills. This was the best decision we made. We had a look at the tours from HCMC starting from 12USD per person ranging to 250USD+ pp. As we took the bus on our own and booked the tour that was offered by the hotel we had a better experience than the people from the expensive tours we met.
Awesome value. Very nice staff. They organized a very nice tour for us, for a very reasonable price. Nice, clean and cheap rooms.
Very friendly efficient staff with clear fluent English. Comfortable clean roomsCentral location..
Very friendly and helpful staff. We loved the bathtub. The Mekongdelta tour for 1.5 days with Johnny was fantastic and the $120US are well spent.
We didn't like that the mattress was a bit too hard. The furniture is a bit old fashioned. The breakfast was soso.
Greeted with welcome drink prior to check in and an unexpected upgrade which was wonderful. Provided with great tour options, lucky enough to have a private tour with Kim to explore the Mekong. One of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommended
Got upgrade when checked in. Standard rooms have no windows but we had an upgrade so had window :) Location good, 5 min walking to the river.
No WiFi at all in room 404. Breakfast should be till later because the long market tours end at 9,30 and you loose it :( Tour is ok, but the visit to noodle workshop or the fruit garden are not very exciting
Everything was great
The tour with Johnny (get him!) was great. We took the all day long tour and hat a very nice time exploring Can Tho and the surroundings. It's worth to invest one day in the homestay in the countryside. Kim was the by far most friendly and happy person we met in vietnam :-)
