Laadukas hotelli erinomaisella paikalla, kaupungin keskustassa, kävelymatkan päässä useista merkittävimmistä vierailukohteista. Hotellin henkilöstö avusti kiitettävästi jokaisessa yksityiskohdassakin. Järjestivät mm. matkat Halong Bayhin ja Cu Chi luolille. Aamupala on monipuolinen ja kansainvälinen. Tarjolla on sekä länsimaista aamupalaa että aasialaisia vaihtoehtoja, jopa sushia. Käytimme ravintolan palveluita myös iltaisin. Lähistöllä on mainio valiokoima ravintoloita, ruokailupaikkoja. Joki on lähellä. Näkyi huoneestamme täysikuun kera laivoineen. Erityisen tyytyväisiä olemme palveluun kaikilla tasoilla.

One of the better hotels we have stayed in. Clean room, friendly staff esp. Ms Jolie who was very pleasant and helpful in suggesting and assisting in booking whatever activity we wanted. Spa was great too, convenient and had 50% discount, which made it just slightly more than outside standalone spas. We booked the deluxe room, really value for money although the rooms could have been bigger. Breakfast was good too.

The room was very comfortable and the shower was great (good water pressure and temperature). The location was great for many restaurant choices and is next door to Apocalypse Now (bar/club) - if you're into that sort of scene. The breakfast buffet (included in the room rate) was also pretty good. I also liked that we were able to use our credit card at this hotel. I thought it was a really good hotel for $40/night in District 1.

The car we booked the day before our flight did not show up on time. After waiting 10 minutes, we took a taxi instead - which was better since it cost 100,000 vnd less. I would expect that the car service from the hotel would be on time and also cost less or the same as a taxi - especially since there are plenty of taxis waiting right outside the hotel. I didn't like that the laundry service (like many other hotels) is by item - they should really consider charging by the kilogram.

- the bed is hard - the staff were unfriendly and spoke hardly Any english - the room looked dated - most importantly: THE HOTEL IS RIGHT NEXT TO A CLUB AND THE LOUD MUSIC KEEPS YOU UP ALL NIGHT!!

Bathroom was not really good, as water from the shower leaked out into the floor via the sides of the shower, making the whole bathroom wet and dirty

Good location. Near to good restaurants. There was also a bus stop right outside the hotel. Massage was available in the hotel as well as several shops within walking distance. Toiletries n complimentary tea/coffee were replenished daily.

The water temperature in the toilet took a while to adjust properly.

The stuff are so great ! Breakfast is wonderful and all the other service is satisified! Highly recommend La Jolie Hotel!!!

I liked a lot the design of the hotel, it's very modern and trendy. The hotel was very clean, breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly. It's just a few steps from Dong Koi and the city hall.

The swedish massage, the staff at the spa was wonderful.

Let me just say I hated this, place, and i'll explain why. PLEASE READ! BE WARNED If you stay in this hotel , ask for a room with no view or top floor room. We arrived at this hotel back from hanoi just to stay one night before catching the flight back to Europe, so we booked this without reading all the guest comments. Upon arrival we greeted by the the reception staff that told us that we had our rooms upgraded to deluxe and suite. At first this seem very nice, we were given a room on the 3rd floor and a room on the 7th floor all with views to the river, and our happiness lasted until the Club next door opened. The club is called is called Apocalipse and it play techno music till 2/3 a.m. depending on the day of the week. For what I was able to inquire the rooms on the inside of the hotel don't ear the music, that explains some of the good reviews the hotel has, but the rooms that face the river or that have a window to the exterior get the full bang out of the disco. The room on the 7th floor was able to bear with the noise with the help of some ear plugs, but my room, the one on the 3rd floor was terrible even with ear plugs. I'm a chap that can sleep in trains, bust stops, airports, etc but I met my match in this hotel. At 3 A.M. I was still up, with my head between two pillows. It felt like I was inside the CLUB. When I inspected the windows I noticed they had removed the previous windows and had glued a double windows glass frame in hope of dampening the noise, but the job was poorly executed. I didn't like the feeling of being cheated with the room upgrades. Upon arrival at hotel breakfast at 9:30, half an hour before it finished, the food was almost over.

Excellent location! Most of staff are helpful and friendly except a girl at the front desk, she was grumpy and not helpful. When we arrived she was there and grumpy, we thought she had a bad day. She was there as well when we checked out, she again had the same atitude! She should resign if she can perform such professional customer servicing role. Otherwise, other staff are very helpful particularly the lady at the tour counter.

We learned from people comments about the disco noise from next door so we requested a room on high floor. However, the noise still affecting us even we stayed on 8/f (top floor is 9th). The disco noise starts at 10pm till 3am. For shopping, make sure to cut 50% off from the offer price when bargain. I joined a cooking class. They put a lot of salt and sugar in the cooking, taste is too strong too much, more than half of the dish was wasted! Value of money is bad!
