A wonderful hotel - a great building with history , wonderful friendly staff, great gardens and pool,great facilities including marvellous restaurant . Lucky to have stayed in some great hotels and this is certainly one of them .

By dint of history it's located between the river - wher boar traffic starts early - and a main road so chose a river view room !

This is an excellent hotel situated in the very interesting city of Hue. The staff are superb, my room was very comfortable, breakfast was excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending it for any purpose and look forward to a return visit.

Great location close to the middle of Hue, beautiful setting.

It'd be nice if the bar at the pool were open a bit later -- it appears to close just after sunset.

Friendly staff, excellent food

One of the best hotel we ever experienced! Superb hotel, nice swimming pool, very good restaurant with fantastic breakfast and very gentle staff.

The colonial style of the hotel gives a chic sense of glamorous and an exclusive atmosphere. Our room has a balcony with a good view of the Pearl River and the surrounding. We feel very relaxing staying in the room. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The spa is excellent and good for the money. The overall experience is marvelous.

Great staff, extremely friendly and every attention to detail covered. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and set out, the dining room and pool particularly excellent. Rooms very good if slightly small, but this really is a quibble. Location is 20 mins walk from historic citadel and restaurant area which suited us fine but others may need to get cyclos or taxis! Overall a real highlight of our holiday in Vietnam, which is saying something as we really had a great time.

Poolside food and drink is expensive, especially relative to even the tourist retaurant options. We ate a fantastic local meal over the road from the hotel for less than £9 for four of us including drinks, would recommend that people explore. Apart from that we really can't think of anything negative, will definitely stay here when we come to Hue again.

This is a lovely hotel. The location is perfect, the staff are friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Our room was spacious and had a lovely view of the pretty hotel gardens and the Perfume River. The breakfast is the best we have had since we left home 2 months ago and the food at the pool and the restaurant was excellent! We loved our stay!!

Good location for sights in Hue.

Hotel seemed very 'tired' and did not have a 'five star' feel about it-lacking many of the elements needed to make for a special experience; given that hotel accomodation can be cheap in the area Bedding appeared to be quite old and 'shabby' with nasty pillows-not what you expect in a 5 star establishment.

Nice hotel in good location

The breakfast was quite simple and the pool water was to warm.

Les extérieurs, la piscine, le bar et les parties communes.

Les wc non séparés de la salle de bains. La mauvaise insonorisation des chambres et la mauvaise qualité du matelas. Personnel de chambre très bruyant le matin.

Le syle art/déco de l'hotel de l'extérieur comme de l'intérieur, la réplique de tout le mobilier de cette époque, le grand confort, la situation au bord de la "rivière des parfums", un excellent restaurant. C'est vraimentle le résumé d'un hotel 5 étoiles.

Magnifique hotel colonial surplombant la Rivières des prafums. Superbe piscine. Bateaux a proximité. Centre ville à 20 minutes à pied. Incontoruable, sérénité absolue
