The staff name micheal or michael was very helpful and very nice! Best location, got wifi connection
The room is dirty
Good staff, have many suggestion.
Room not clean and much smell smoking .
They charge fair rate for pick up from airport. The young business owner of this hotel, Michael is rather friendly and offered me recommendation on my plan. I booked this hotel simply as stop over before i take night train to Sapa. As I chatted with him, he learns that when we come back from Sapa, we will arrive at Hanoi early in the morning and we will wait for 3 hours in front of Hanoi opera house for pick up to Halong Bay. As I am traveling with my parents he reckons that it would be very difficult for my two parents to wait at an open area for 3 hours. Hence he offered me to come to his hotel to have a shelter even though i have not booked any of my Sapa nor Halong bay package with him. I truly appreciate his gestures though in the end we didn't return to his hotel. He is a young man with ambition and kind heart.
The hotel is quite worn down. I understand that they have two hotels hence I supposed i went to the older one. The room is barely minimal and need to be renovated for basic comfort. I have not seen the newer hotel but i think that is a better one. I am just booking for stopover but i would not recommend for stay-over. If the hotel could make necessary improvements so that both hotels are equal standard, clean and comfortable, they definitely beat other competitors with their fair service and friendliness.
They don't change bed-covered for us.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating to my needs. They also gave me a very fair rate for a taxi to the airport. Some hotels in Hanoi left me feeling ripped off, but not Liberty. I really like these guys.
the smell unusable internet
The staff is very very nice They helped us in all questions and recommend us nice Places to go.
The room smells very bad and is very dirty at all.
Good location near the main sights and in the middle of old Hanoi Very good value Good shower
Dirty bed, bedroom and bathroom
Internet. Heater in the winter.
The door lock is not worked well
The room we got was dirty and very run down. The pictures provided on booking are not at all what we were given. We got a twin room after booking a double room. The bathroom smelled awful. No Internet in the room. There is a sign in reception saying breakfast from 7am until 10am. We told the owner we would be leaving at 8 the following morning so would it be ok to get breakfast at 7.30. He said no, he was too busy! The following morning we asked for breakfast at 8, waited until 8.20 and still nobody attempt to organise breakfast.
The room has very dirty and dusty floor. There is no "soundproofing" as claimed. In fact, the most noisy room I stayed in Vietnam of similar price. I stayed at the 1st level and I can hear all the talking by the reception below, got walked up early in the morning by all their noises. My door is translucent; all the light can come in. Poorly designed room.
Nothing, you can find better places around for the same price.
The room photo its not true. Room and bed sheets were not very clean The worse is the manager, he tries to sell you tickets and tours nearly the double price as they are in other places. He press you to take them and if you don't take it his behaviour with you changes completely.
The hotel has a good location in old quarter.
We arrived late in the evening and had already made a bookings room looked ok in the dark. As soon as we got into our beds it felt like things were crawling in them and felt itchy. The next day we saw just how unclean the hotel room was, corridors and walls. I'm a budget traveller traveling for 2 years now and have stayed in cheaper places throughout Vietnam and have never had anything so dirty and unpleasant for the price !!! Clean your hotel up !!!
When we came there, the water system of hotel had problem. So they let us stay at Lantern Hotel. Which is owned by the same boss. I liked it there. ;)
