Just outside old town so in a quiet location, but near to everything.
hotel runs a free shuttle to Cua Dai beach, but there is no beach there as it has eroded. Better to take a short taxi ride to An Bang beach
Super friendly staff, very good location (except during Tet Festival -> too loud), tasty breakfast.
Spa staff could have been a little more welcoming.
Staffs at the reception were really friendly. location is very good. Close to the old town but taxis can reach the hotel.
the pool was cold (haha) nothing special
In this hotel You will go to fine the best and frendly staff in Hoi An They will go to try that your time in the hotel be the best experience of your travel Thanks. For all I hope see you again in Marz
The swiming pool is not a real or complete Inside pool
Loved the room, like stepping back in time! Staff are really helpful and you are close to all the attractions of Hoi An Old town.
Worth paying for a river view, the rooms at the back of hotel have view of building site and are a bit noisy.
room , bar , staff all A1
Gym could have been better but thats all !
All (I speake an english bad)
The staff, location and price.
Not a bad experience, but they could improve the reception area
Large spacious, modern Indochinese style room. Hotel is only 3 years old. Great breakfasts! Exceptional Manager 'Julia', she was always interested to know her guests were very happy and she discounted our daily rate further for our room as they were fully booked and we didn't get the room which we requested in original booking online. Situated right at the beginning of Ancient Town on the river, 2 mins walk to Japanese bridge, restaurants & shops. We loved a stroll back to our hotel along the river pathway each night after dinner and we loved the $4.50 Dalat red wine, you must try it !!
This hotel is on a strip of land along the river which is now being developed. Check to make sure hotel building isn't going up next door upon your stay but otherwise nothing we didn't like about this hotel!!
very helpful and friendly staff Everything was done with a minimum of fuss.
I had my birthday on the day of my arrival and they surprised me with a cake with candles!
Family met by a charming receptionist who brought us all a cold drink and talked us through the hotel facilities and gave us a quick overview of Hoi An Rooms were beautifully clean and well furnished with nice touches - pottery cups and soap dishes in stylish bathrooms, good pictures and paintings, silk dressing gowns Bed was very comfortable Pool is shaded so a bit cool in January Staff were delightful and helpful Position of hotel is great. It is a 5 minute walk into the old town yet it is in a quiet position - perfect. We stayed in 4 star hotels throughout Vietnam - this was easily the best and great value for money
Nothing was too much trouble
pillows needed to be softer & thinner
Excellent location, staff are great and cannot do enough for you, organising trips, bikes etc and always so nice. Breakfast is lovely plenty of choice. Would definately stay again and highly recommend
Good location, a 5 minute walk to the old town. Hotel itself was opposite the river so relatively quiet surrounds
The staff were really noisy and weren't as polite as other hotels. Our room was on the first floor and due to the layout of the hotel we could hear everything (phones ringing, chairs moving etc). Breakfast was ok, had a "pedicure" at the spa and she cut my toe in a couple of places.
After searching through a lot of hotels in Hoi An we decided on Little Hoi An Boutique hotel. It was a lovely hotel, excellent staff and lovely rooms. Great breakfast included in the price too.
On arrival at the hotel, we were told that unfortunately the hotel was full and we would have to move to their other hotel over the river about another 800m out of town. We told them that this was unacceptable and stood our ground. They finally found us the rooms that had been booked since August (we stayed in January 2015). Unfortunately one of the rooms was directly above the kitchen and very noisy from 6am. I think this is a bit of a scam, taking your booking for the lovely hotel and fobbing you off to a different hotel. Be aware!
Staff were one of the best we have met in Vietnam - they ALL could not do enough for you. Travelled with an elderly relative and she was made to feel so special. Location - so close to the Old Quarter. Free transport to one beach. Reasonably priced transfers from and to Danang airport. Breakfasts were very good with a good variety of fruit, and eggs cooked on request. Cosy dining area. Had one lunch and one dinner and both meals were good. Delightful, clean and cosy environment - rooms, lounge in foyer, dining area. A broken bulb in the en suite was replaced without a request, so thanks to chambermaids as these maintenance issues are often ignored in other hotels. Would definitely stay again if we go to Hoi An again.
Although the free 10 mins foot massage was lovely, thank you, waxing eyebrows should be taken off the list - equipment terrible. Couldn't use one of the two treadmills in the gym and they needed a clean. Although not necessary for the price of staying, it would be good to have the water in the pool heated! (end of December) Recommend to renew the lanterns outside as they were looking tatty.
Management overbooked this property to get guests into their new hotel down the road. It was the same story for many gursts while we were there for a week. Avoid the hassle book somewhere else.
Staff was caring, wiling to help you with anything and everything Great location Good breakfast Comfortable room Good tv
It wad clean. Breakfadt ok. Good location
Did not honour booking tried to make us stay in his brand new hotel that is not finished. Lied constantly and only got room when they saw l was getting in touch with booking.com. Saw this happen to other people during the three days I stayed there. My advice go somewhere else as this greedy owner doesn't care about staff or guests.
Ngoc from reception provides excellent customer service. She made us feel welcome and was always helpful with everything we needed. Thank you for making our stay memorable.
The wifi was excellent, as there appeared to be a router for each room. Breakfast was nice and staff were generally helpful.
To start with, this is not a boutique hotel, nor a four star one, far from meeting the required standard. I had made a reservation for a suite room with a balcony and river view, with a couple of weeks notice. Upon my arrival, I got warmly welcomed by a member of staff who, after welcoming me with a complimentary drink, after showing me a map of the city, and after giving me some vouchers for some of the silk shops in town, proceeded to inform me that there had been an issue with the booking and the suite room with river view was no longer available. I was given two options: either keeping the original booking for a standard room at a rate of 98 USD/night instead of 120, or be moved to their sister hotel, La Residencia. I was very disappointed that the hotel had not informed me before about this change of plans; however, I choose to keep the booking at Little Hoi An and accept the discount rate. The staff member, however, insisted that we go and have a look at the other hotel, and started pushing me to move there (mentioning they had better rooms, a better pool area, better spa services etc.). At this point I got really frustrated but decided to take on the offer to at least go and check and compare rooms. When we arrived at La Residencia we found out the room would not be a suite anyway and that the only difference would have been a small balcony. Since La Residencia is further away from Hoi An city centre I decided once and for all that I wanted to stay at Little Hoi An. I was however to regret my decision. My room had a view on the backyards of neighbouring houses (i.e.on a wasteland of coconut shells) and it was extremely noisy. I could not sleep due to people doing maintenance work in the backyards (cutting wood, moving bricks and rocks...) and due to roosters being up all night and fighting among each other. Obviously not the fault of people living there, but the hotel does not appear to have any soundproofing.
The staff at the hotel made us so welcome. So full of information and suggestions on things to do. The location is great just across the bridge from the old town. We will definitely stay there again.
Absolutely everything. The staff are very friendly and helpful and there is nothing that is too much trouble. They helped with any requests we had and even provided a courtesy car for our trip back to Da Nang. This hotel is highly recommended!
