クラシカルなお部屋で古き良きベトナムを感じられたこと

エステの質がいまいちだった。チップの額を半ば強要されたのには驚いた。

ドンコイ通りに面していて、ロケーションは最高でした。 リバービューの部屋で通りに面していましたが、二重ガラスだったので、騒音もそれほど気になりませんでした- 。部屋はアンティーク調の感じのよい部屋でした。 リバービューのレストランでの朝食はとても気分がよかったです。

スタッフは大半は感じがよかったのですが、スタッフ同士のおしゃべりに夢中になって、こちらが質問しても調- べようともしてくれない方がいました。ほかの5つ星ホテルに比べるとスタッフの教育が行き届いていない感じ- でした。 1階のラウンジでカクテルを飲みましたが、頼む方があまりいないのか、炭酸が抜けきっていました。

屋上のBARがとても良かったです。

リバーサイド405号室でした。早朝からの車とバイクの騒音が気になりました。同室は、5階レストランへの- 階段の下だったので、朝は階段を昇り降りする足音がうるさかったです。まあ、古い建物なので、しょうがない- かな。

BARでの食事、お酒を楽しむために予約しました。ブリーズ・スカイ・バーでの夕食を眺めの良い席でとメー- ルでお願いしたところ、「その日はビュッフェがM'S BARへ変更されるが、席は取っておきます」とのメールをいただきました。当日は夕食前のBARの時間から- 、夫婦で早めに行って待っていたのですが、夕食時刻には、目の前のテーブルに私の名前の予約カードが置かれ- たのには恐縮、感激しました。とても楽しいDINNERでした。

買い物、食事に行くにも便利なロケーションで大変よかったです。部屋も広く、清潔感があって満足しました。- バスタブも大きかったので、2泊ともお湯につかりリラックスできました。スタッフも明るく、感じがよかった- です。

All staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast is quite an experience with a wide variety of excellent food, served on a charming patio. The hotel itself is a grand old lady, dating from 1925, but it is a question of taste whether the latest renovations are really improvements. But at least everything works.

Housekeeping could be more alert. One night we noticed someone had been puking behind a potted plant next to the elevator, so we called housekeeping. They just put a towel over the spot. Twelve hours later the towel was still there and nothing had been cleaned.

The rooms and bathrooms are well appointed. We loved our stay in this hotel

The breakfast wasn't the best.

Lobby and other common areas are very nice. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.

The rooms are quite ok, although they would be even nicer if the red wall-to- wall carpeting was replaced by hardwood floors. This might also reduce the slightly stuffy smell.

The room we had was lovely, very big, lots of character and well located in the major shopping, dining area. Good view over the river. The hotel definitely had more character/charm than some of the newer hotels we were looking at.

The service/advice from staff was limited, we didn't really get any proactive suggestions regarding restaurants or sight seeing. It felt some of the facilities in the hotel were a bit dated and needing some attention.

Fantastic location in District 1. Hotel tours are of great value with personal friendly guide.

The hotel is a traditional hotel in colonial architecture. The staff are extremely helpful including the business center and housekeeping. The breakfast is wonderful at the rooftop restaurant. Too bad I could only have one meal there. They have improved their bathroom amenities.

The layout is confusing with multiple elevators going up to different destinations. Some hallways do not have a/C.

Great party New Years Eve with hundreds of happy people and wonderful food!!! We got table a1 in front of the catwalk - Thanks to the manager!! I lost the key to my locked luxury suitecase and staff helped me out with getting a genuin"key-man" from other part oft the city. Yes I had to pay 10 dollars, but it was well worth it! I got 2 new keys and didn't have to ruin it and buy a knew one. Win-win :-)

As an architect I am deeply concerned with the hotels new building plans. Exsisting hotel is a very nice piece of french colonial style architecture and the plans seems to ignore it and destroy an important part of the hotels exterior and therefore character. It is sad and the hotel will never regain its authencity as an important historic landmark in Saigon. Visit now before it's too late. In the near future it will be turned into quasi architecture and look more or less like all the the other new buildings popping up. Do the hotel owners know what they are doing??

The architecture of the hotel. The bedroom and bathroom was an excellent size and nicely decorated with quality fixtures and fittings in period style. The location was great being across the road from the river, but also not far from the City hub and the rooftop was an excellent place for an evening drink and superb view of the river with the boats lit up at night...magical. Inside the hotel it was quiet, very comfortable and relaxing. Very enjoyable.
