Nice old french style hotel from the begging of last century. Fully refurbished. In great location on the bank of Sigon river in the city center. You will really enjoy breakfast with great view on Sigon river. It's worth to stay there.

Hotel is very well located in front of the lake. Rooms are perfect, staff is very wonderful.

Beautiful Room, Breese sky bar, friendly staff, spa. We saw the potential of the hotel in 2015. do not do this! The hotel is beautiful the way he is now

We had a very nice stay at the majestic. The staff are very friendly, helpful and have a good grasp of the English language. The food was expensive relative to cafe/restaurants very close by but comparable to other hotels (you always pay more in the hotel so it was totally in keeping with expectations) the pool, whilst small and not brilliant for young kids (quite sedate) was still very pleasant and staff always on hand to cater to your needs (drink/food) the room we had (205) wS spacious and had a balcony overlooking the river (lots of horns and traffic early in the morning but wasn't loud enough to bother us) the bathrooms are a little dated but clean and adequate. Minibar to be avoided as very expensive! As it was my daughters birthday when we stayed, we found to our surprise a cake, a card and a lovely bunch of red roses from the hotel staff. This was a wonderful gesture and the main reason I'm writing this review. Overall I would recommend this hotel to any type of traveller and was very happy with my stay.

Bit tardy on last days worth of minibar usage. Otherwise nothing.

Great party New Years Eve with hundreds of happy people and wonderful food!!! We got table a1 in front of the catwalk - Thanks to the manager!! I lost the key to my locked luxury suitecase and staff helped me out with getting a genuin"key-man" from other part oft the city. Yes I had to pay 10 dollars, but it was well worth it! I got 2 new keys and didn't have to ruin it and buy a knew one. Win-win :-)

As an architect I am deeply concerned with the hotels new building plans. Exsisting hotel is a very nice piece of french colonial style architecture and the plans seems to ignore it and destroy an important part of the hotels exterior and therefore character. It is sad and the hotel will never regain its authencity as an important historic landmark in Saigon. Visit now before it's too late. In the near future it will be turned into quasi architecture and look more or less like all the the other new buildings popping up. Do the hotel owners know what they are doing??

The architecture of the hotel. The bedroom and bathroom was an excellent size and nicely decorated with quality fixtures and fittings in period style. The location was great being across the road from the river, but also not far from the City hub and the rooftop was an excellent place for an evening drink and superb view of the river with the boats lit up at night...magical. Inside the hotel it was quiet, very comfortable and relaxing. Very enjoyable.

Old world charm has been retained, but not at all "down at heel". Breakfast on the rooftop overlooking the river with a cool breeze and an iced vietnamese coffee, a pho and a fresh baguette is pretty heavenly! We chose rooms overlooking the pool, they were peaceful and had own balconies; I suspect rooms overlooking the streets / river might be quite noisy.

"Relaxing" massage in spa was pretty heavy handed, was left with aches and pains for 24 hours afterwards! Also, spa treatment workers were rather pushy when it came to tips - not a particularly pampering experience.
