Location is excellent and convenient as there are a few restaurants near by the hotel, only 5 - 10 mins by foot. Generally, hotel staff are helpful and is quite famous hotel in Hanoi, most taxi driver know about this hotel, so no problem if taking taxi. Swimming pool is quite small and only open till 7pm, so we did not use it at all. Buffet dinner is too pricely, about usd40 per person.

It wascentral and good for a Conference It was over priced,especially the food/drinks...I had an early departure and there was no coffee/croissants available...for the same money Hotel de L'Opera is far better value

Staff at 20th floor was really smart and give us lot of help It was really disappointing:at reception desk thay told me I can benefit some extra for a price of 20 uds for 2 days and I discover at the end thay charge me 40 usd each day!!!!

We stayed in an Executive Suite and enjoyed access to the Club floors, including evening drinks and snacks, late checkout, etc. The room was very spacious and relaxing after long days of exploring the city on foot. The hotel's location is very central. The hotel had no record of my booking but nevertheless, said they could accommodate us and that they would honour the booking confirmation which I had printed out. However on checkout, they charged me the gross price (which already included tax) plus another 10% tax. This was the only sour note on an otherwise thoroughly enjoyable experience.

The Melia is located in the heart of Hanoi.Many places can be reached by just walking.the breakfest is execelent. The hotel staff very friendly and helpfull. i stayed about 10 times and will always return becaus I just enjoy staying at this nice hotel.

Pleasant hotel with nice rooms, excellent breakfast buffet (and also dinner buffet, for that matter), nice gym, very friendly staff. I stayed at this hotel twice in Feb. 2011. The first time my room was on the 12th floor, and was quiet. The second time my room was on the 8th floor and I could hear loud thumping music from the hotel bar on the 3rd floor until midnight!

el colchón no habia wi fi, tenías que pedir toallas grandes porque no las dejaban al hacer la habitación, lo peo fue que reservamos un taxi público para el aeropuerto la noche anterior, y al llegar la hora no dicen que están todos ocupados y que cojamos un taxi del hotel privado que costaba casi el doble que los públicos!!!! hacía frío y no funcionaba la calefacción, mal trato. Desde luego el precio era muy alto y la contraprestación nefasta. No lo recomiendo en absoluto

Vi boede I en Executive Suite, og det var fantastisk lækkert. Derudover er begge restauranter fremragende, og personalet er meget servicemindet og venligt. Eneste minus, jeg kan komme I tanker om, er for meget aircondition I loungen- der var ind I mellem temmelig koldt.
