Very centric. Bit expensive but it is worth it as is just 3 minutes to japanese bridge!
They discounted some money for second night but took the breakfast off. But quite nice familly
Location, the host and his family, the room, the beds, the comfort.
Wi-fi signal inside our bedroom was virtually inexistent, we had to sit behind the door to get it. Only 1 standard mirror in the bathroom.
Very friendly and SUPER helpful with making further travel arrangements. Breakfast was excellent and room was very nice. Free bicycle hire. Lovely family.
Tiny bit noisy one morning with community announcements over the loud speaker but not the fault of the home stay however they were very apologetic for the inconvenience.
Guy at the reception very helpfull, speaking very good English. Felicia breakwest, every day something different. Location great, close to main attractions but not too close. Highly recomended place.
We booked room with balony and we had it but unfortunately it was accessible to everyone else.
Had we known that we would end up I such a great hotel, had we booked more days. Location is great, hospitality exceptional and room standard 4 stars.
Close to old town Free bicycles Friendly Staff Street Market right outside Easy to find
Moons Homestay was just what l was looking for, very welcoming family with excellent speaking and understanding of English, Mr Tran was very helpful and cheerful, its just in short walking distance to the Old Town, good place to sit and people watch or 2min walk down the street for something to eat in the evening, very honest people in Hoi An, hope to come back and spend more time, two nights werent long enough
There wasnt anything l didnt like, only that l didnt spend enough time walking around the old/new town, there are stairs to consider but Mr Tran is more than happy to carry your luggage, when showering the spray of the water goes over the toilet but for me that was no biggy
A very comfortable and welcoming stay in the family home of a lovely Vietnamese family. Excellent value for money with easy access to Hoi An old town centre. I felt welcomed by all members of the family and truly enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was delicious although perhaps a little too much
Loved absolutely everything and when we return we will be going straight back to stay with this beautiful family... Location, welcome, breakfast, cleanliness were all of a 5 star quality.. Could not praise these guys enough, and have already sent a couple of other travellers their way!!
This is a great Home Stay with good facilities, in a great location, not far out of town to relax. My room were very spacious and well fitted out for our needs. Staff were exceptionally friendly. The breakfast provided was of good quality. This is a very nice place to stay!
Everything. So helpful, friendly and well positioned. I don't usually like aircon, but it was a welcome relief from the heat. Probably the best place in our entire stay. I travelled alone with my daughter and position was perfect for getting out and walking, but being out of the backpacker areas. Also felt so safe and could sit on balcony with a beer and dinner. Food...oh my! Nothing like seeing someone ride down the road to get your fresh baguette. Only complaint is I couldn't leave my daughter alone asleep to go get more food at night when I could see and smell the markets! Just kidding! It was such a good experience. We are really happy with our tailor as well who Tran Tri will help you with. And go to the Reaching Out Teahouse for a break from the hustle and bustle - we went 2 days in a row and wish everyday we could go back
Nothing at all. Just brilliant
You can’t beat the location of Moon’s Homestay. The location across the river gives you a slice of life of the residents of Hoi An. It’s only a five minute walk to the center of ancient town and the cultural landmarks. The street next to the guest house becomes alive in the evening with a night market and there are plenty of good restaurants, bars and spas in the area. The well-known Market Restaurants & Cooking School is around the corner. Upon check in it is emphasized that Moon’s is a homestay, not a hotel (even though it is set up like a small hotel) so you are expected to immerse yourself with the family and Vietnamese culture. The proprietor of Moon’s is accommodating.
Be forewarned that they have a strict cancellation/change policy and are not flexible about it. If you have booked three nights and wish to leave early you will be charged the full amount for the dates you reserved. Also, the photos depicted on their booking website are not entirely accurate which was a bit disappointing. We booked a deluxe room which was clean but the corner of the room up to the ceiling was spotted with mold and the bathroom was entirely different than shown in the pictures. As a result, they offered to move us to a different guest house nearby which I thought was very accommodating.
We enjoyed staying here and Mr Tran Tri is very helpful. The night markets are right outside this place and only a short walk away to everything in Hoi An. The rooms are very large and clean. The family is lovely. Would recommend a stay here.
Booked a room with balcony, the balcony was only 300 mm wide. Upgradet to family room for more money. Only one person spokes english. Poor breakfast.
The location could not have been better for access to the old town, less than a couple of minutes walk away past a beautiful night market and a lovely bridge. The hotel itself was well decorated and the family were welcoming.
Next door building works at the moment (16th October) begin at 7am and prevent real sleep after this time.
Nice staff, well located, comfy rooms.with great AC
My wife and I stayed here and it made the Hoi An experience. The family is super friendly and treats you like family. We will definitely stay here again.
Perfect location. Very clean. Great room. Good staff. Very nice breakfast.
Location is superb
Staff is a bit "sloppy" sometimes. For instance, turning off the airco by the main switch when I left for a while: to safe electricity. Make your rooms 1 dollar more expensive then...
The location of the Moon is very close to many of the things to do and see in Hoi An. The night market is right outside and the streets surrounding have many places to eat and drink. The Old Town is a 5 minute walk away across the bridge. The included breakfast was nice and varied each day. All staff very friendly and helpful.
location, friendly staff, house itself
internet is so slow, onlt one person speaks english
Good location, kind stuff, quiet rooms. But eventually I would have preferred to have spend a bit more on a nicer hotel with a swimming pool, as the heat was unbearable!
Bed linen were a bit dirty, with hair and stains all over. We found a cockroach in our room and the stuff didn't care that much to do something about it. At the end we ended up killing it ourselves. There was only one dim light in the bathroom, no extra light over the mirror, which made it really hard to see clearly. There was no body mirror in the room either. And the shower drain was blocked almost from day 1, but nobody did anything to unblock it the next days. Breakfast could have been better.
Everything, Tri Tran is the host gracious host. We will definately be back to stay with Tri & his family again
Nothing. It was a perfect location with a perfect Home Stay experience. Highly recommend +++++
Kind and friendly people. Lovely room with windows and a balcony. The owner speaks English and was very helpful. Very relaxing.
The bathroom was not very clean but still ok.
