Hodden from the main road, but no big deal. No elevator provided, but with the price we paid, no issue at all.
Helpful receptionist. Safe location.
Noisy on first night , staff playing music/chatting below my room which had no sound insulation !!
Generally safe even if few tourists there seems a locals hotel.
The room would've been fine but there were only two lightbulb a so a little dingy, try to get a front facing room, far more light.
It's a quiet hideaway that's close to the madness but not in it... second time I've stayed in this place so I would recommend it especially based on price.
It wasn't the best place where we stayed during our travels but it was ok for the money they asked.
We stayed on the 5th floor and the view was pretty good from there. It's 10 minutes walk from the backpacker area in a quiet back alley which we really liked about it. At the corner you can have your coffee with the locals.
A good cheap alternative to the backpacker area.
Good value for price. Do not expect much. But it was clean, WI-Fi was working, staff was friendly (not all of them spoke English though).
Sometimes the wifi is not stable but it's ok :)
Good location and quiet. The most important thing is that the staffs are really friendly! I really had a wonderful time with them!! They helped me so much!!
Not the best location, had to walk 15min to the centre A leak from a pipe in the sink
No complaints for the price we paid.
10 min walk to Backpacker Street. Good value for money. Good air conditioning.
Trips can be booked through the hotel for reasonable prices. Tv with English film channels. 15 mins walk to beer street so near but quiet
The price, Location and staff
Room is smelly ! cigarette smelly, terribly bad, even to the bed sheet ! Cooking equipment in the kitchen are bad & dirty, not well maintained.
Location is okay, not too far from Ben Thanh Market.

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. On the 3rd day, we handed the room key in at the reception before going out for the day. When we arrived back in the evening, the key could not be found. One member of staff accused us of leaving the key inside the room. The locksmith was called after no spare key was found. Locksmith managed to open the door, the same staff member searched our room to ensure that no key was inside. Upon exiting the room he spotted the key in the cleaning basket outside of our room and then pointed his arm/finger in accusation and nearly shouted "YOU, you put it there" to my husband. Now really upset, we went straight away to the reception and spoke to the person in charge to report this. He tried to smooth things over, but we did not receive an apology from the person making the accusation (who also happened to be the same person assisting the cleaning lady in cleaning the rooms), he clearly wanted us to take the blame for leaving the key in the cleaning basket and not him. Besides this, the hotel room is not clean, common areas are quite dirty. The hotel charges in usd, however you pay in dong, they set their own exchange rate, which is higher than anywhere in town. We did not receive a receipt after paying for the room, when we asked for one we were told not to worry and that we didn't need one. When we insisted, we were only issued a handwritten docket and not an official receipt or print out. The written docket said only that we had paid in usd, without mentioning the amount charged in dong. We are left to wonder what is going on??? Also certain staff are disinterested in communicating at all. We felt relieved to leave the hotel as our trust in the staff had totally gone by then.
Quiet hotel, room with 2 queen beds available. Clean, descent towels and clean linen. The cleaning lady was very friendly and helpful and was working very hard, the support person helping her clean was not.
The staff here are so friendly and helpful. They gave me tour information, lots of information on Saigon and they even posted my postcards! Lovely quiet location, just minutes walk from the backpacker area.
Our window just lead out to the corridor which was unfortunate. We also had a small ant problem but a few squirts of bug spray got rid of them (probably just temporarily). It was a bit tricky to find initially. Laundry was over charged - make sure they weigh it in front of you! We were on the 4th floor and there was no lift.
It was fairly clean and felt very safe. One member of staff was particularly helpful. It is worth climbing up to the 4th or 5th floor to see the balcony - a nice view.
Some of the staff don't really speak english. And the location might be a little bit remote but still near to the ben thanh market about 15-20 mins walk.
Clean room, clean bed, good wifi.
Location was very good, shower had hot water, nice and very helpful staff. Room was clean and nice
Shower is basically over the toilet so everything in the bathroom gets soaked when you shower. Not a huge issue for me but I can see that it would annoy some people. We paid £8 a night for just the room, no breakfast. In other hotels in Vietnam we've paid £6 including a small breakfast. Given the standard of the hotel decor/cleanliness and the bathroom facilities, I think it's a bit overpriced. But nothing was horribly wrong and we had a comfy enough stay.
The staff were friendly, the room was ok size and the bed was comfy and soft - hard to find in Vietnam. Location is good, close to 'backpacker area' with lots of cheap restaurants etc, and maximum of an hour walk to most sights. Hotel is on a small side street so relatively quiet at night which is good. Wifi worked well, room was quiet and comfy enough for our needs.
hotel not so clean overall bed was a bit uncomfortable due to springs weird decor, half-naked asian lady painting?!
great location friendly staff room cleaned everyday quiet
When we entered our room, the big cockroach invited us. We killed it and throw to the hallway. It was still there in the morning while next room was cleaned and the cleaner had to see it. We wanted non-smoking room and we got room that stank after cigarettes with ashtray on the table. The bathroom was not very clean.
They allowed us early checkin at 2.00 AM.
rooms, facilities and location
no much but the stuff was helpful
Staff, closeness to lively streets, good shower and bed
The hotel room was clean and pleasant, the location is just a short way from the centre. The staff was also nice and helpful.
Staff weren't the most helpful Room very stuffy and hot
Not too far from the main drag
