I enjoyed stay at Norfolk. This is not the first time for us . This trip just for 3 nights ,but before we live there for 3 months .And never have any problem .From the staff and AC or cleanest in the room .
The apartment had plenty of room for travelling companions and was not too far from the centre of District 1. The staff were very helpful and courteous.
The breakfast had sufficient variety but was lacking in the choice of cereal. Only corn flakes or some chocolate cereal. This was a minor point as there was plenty of fruit and yogurt so that you could still eat healthily.
Big room, clean and confortable. Highly recommend!
The staff professionalism and courtesy. The facilities and comfort level
Hotel staff very helpful for all needs - great service
Pool area is great and supper friendly staff.
Construction site over the road. Not hotels fault.
location, services and hospitality were great
the beds were too firm breakfast selection was rather poor
Nothing so special it was an ordinary apartment and wasn't as in the picture! The furnishings was very usual! And honestly it's not a superb Hotel as the score of the viewers shows!
Furnished and serviced apartments should have washing machines not pool ones! There were two sharing washing machines and two dryers for a floor of 8 or 10 apartments! Sometimes people comes from other floors to use them! Moreover, they should provide you with 5 coins on daily basis to use the machines, but they never did! Just when we checked in, until I talked to them, Also the Hotel charges you alot comparing to any other Hotel for the services that you need, for example they charged me 80 Dolars for pick up from the airport, and when I needed a transportation to the airport they wanted to charge me the same ammount! I had an argument with them, from my experience it's almost the double of what other 5 stars Hotel charge for the same service! Then they offered me 30% discount after the argument. You pay more for less in this Hotel you see a different lovely picture for the apartment in the site! It's totally different in reality! Unfortunately it never met my expectation! You can have beter place to stay in Ho Chi Minh other than this place, I wish if I had stayed in Duxton Hotel for the second time but not in Norfolk Mansion, and by the way I thought it was A mansion but it wasn't, it's a building with over 12 floors, Finally when we needed one or two hours for late check out with prior request, they wanted to charge 50% of the room rate! Althoug more than half of the property is empty! I wish if they know the cosept of (Guest)!!! Honesty I do not recommend this Hotel, and it's my first time I do have too many things I disliked in a Hotel!
Close to everyting in the center, you can walk to War museum, Notre Dam, shopping center and markets.
Windows are only one layer, so you get a lot of trafic sound into the apartment. Could be better becouse of the price of the hotel.
Great staff, especially restaurant staff. Kids had great time, great location, easy to fing way around. Home away from hone.
No specific complaints.
Great location Great Wifi Very clean Big apartment Great breakfast Very quiet
rooms are very spacious
our high expectations failed. the furniture in the room are old, dusty and had a fusty smell. the location is a bit far from the centre.
The staff were very attentive & helpful
Had no issues so no complaints
Great central location and plenty of room. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Only minor negative was the bed a bit hard but overall would recommend to anyone.
Beds were too hard. Like sleeping on a board.
We booked a Standard 3 Bedroom Apartment for 10 nights but on booking in were advised we were upgraded to the 3BR Penthouse. Very Nice with plenty of room for 4 adults and a lovely outlook over HCMC. All the staff were always very friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient with easy walking distance to the centre of the city and lots of Restaurants. Could not have been happier with the choice for our family group.
Everything. Having a washing machine was very useful. Great location, great pool, great breakfast.
Needed something to hang the washing on though Booking.com was confusing for this booking though. I was trying to book for 2 adults and 1 child and it would not let me do it. I tried to change it - thought I had but when we arrived I was told we had to pay for the extra person.
Everything was awesome service, location and accommodation.
Toiletries were on request only, the hotel was amazing but such a silly mistake to not have them in the apartments.
Overall was good if you are travelling with kids
Staff were excellent and could not do enough and were always very friendly. Breakfast had a great selection. The apartment was very clean. The kids loved the place.
Felt the kitchen could do with slightly better equipment but all worked and we generally ate out anyway so a very minor grumble. Tower block going up where our room was but there was no noise impact for us as they were constructing the basement but as it come out of the ground it may become a bigger issue which should be advised to future guests booking rooms in that area.
This was the best placed we stayed. I would say the hotel staff here were so friendly, the best we have experienced I saigon. Wished we could have found this place sooner.
Great staff, great place cool little gallery next door....great!!!!!!!!!!
Let us have a free late check out the day of departure which was much appreciated because of our late evening flight that day.
Spacious Apartment Good Internet Fast room service Very large bed in main room Good tea coffee facilities
4 star budget feel. Not at all luxurious as advertised. Breakfast was mediocre, no soy milk, not much selection for vegans, out of date nuts. Entrance to apartment is via dirty dated corridors that are not enclosed. The decor in the apartment is very very outdated. At check in you are actually given an inspection inventory list that you are expected to mark off otherwise there is risk you will be charged for items not previously counted correctly. The booklet for the hotel starts with 7 pages of replacement costs if you break anything, then another 7 pages of Rules and Regulations. Not at all welcoming for a "5 star" establishment Room service menu is very limited. Food and price is average. This is the first 5 star hotel we have ever stayed in that does not provide the usual amenities in the bathroom and then actually uses the excuse that it is to save the environment! The pillows are very old, flat and uncomfortable. There are no extra pillows or bedding in the apartment at all and the bedding is so light that we suspect it is to save costs on air-conditioning. The beds were so uncomfortable we could not sleep well at all. The location is not within walking distance to anything other than a few coffee shops, convenience store and ice-cream parlor. The balcony is not safe, our two year old could easily walk out as there is no lock out of childs reach and no key given to lock the balcony door. There is a washing machine but no dryer. The facilities are basic but there is a gym and a children's area. The children's playground is air-conditioned but you actually have to contact staff to have them turn it on! It was a very uncomfortable place to stay and we are glad it was only one night.
We stayed in a very large two bedroom unit which provided us with plenty of space. The real benefit for us, having three younger children, was that we could be close to them rather than being in two separate rooms in a hotel. With some of us suffering from jet-lag it was also great to have a separate living room where those who were awake could read without disturbing those who were asleep. There new brand new appliances in the kitchen and bedrooms such as microwaves, kettles and televisions. There was also a nice balcony overlooking the street. Breakfast was excellent and the staff cannot be faulted. We all enjoyed a swim in the pool. The location was excellent too.
The decor, such as bedside lamps, could do with an update.
