Everything is ok when I was staying at Splendid Star Hotel, We book Ha Long Bay tour for our trip , It's really high recommendation for people about price and service , do not go out to book from other agencies.. Very personalize and friendly service, felt warm welcome once I step into the hotel until my departure.I Am already planning for my next visit. Only thing was the room service sometimes they took a little long to bring the food, and they could have a little more choices on the menu. |

All of the staffs were courteous and extremely helpful,most importantly the rooms were very clean and the service for all the staffs in this hotel is excellent.The hotel is fantastic value for money. Good room size and nice LCD Desktop.Location is perfect, only few minutes walk to the nearest shopping, entertainment centre .Highly recommended ! There was not a single vegetarian dish in the room service. |

the location is good, near amenities yes, although service fr the staffs is generally good but they are extremely pushy on tours. hotel rated themselves as 3 star but the quality is more like one star or at most 2 star. It said to have recently renovated, that only applies to the lift; other parts of the hotel looks run down and dated. drainage in the bathroom is not good and there is an unpleasant smell in the hotel. |

I booked this hotel via the Internet for a one night stop-over in Hanoi. The room I had booked turned out to have twin beds, I expressed a desire for a double bed and this was immediately arranged. The room, whilst not the most spacious I have ever stayed in, was extremely clean, tidy and had an excellent service of Splendid Star. The staff were friendly and helpful, absolutely stay here again . must be more advice for customer to go shopping and restaurants ! |

Friendliness of hotel staff. Some basics (sufficient provision-refilling of soap, shampoo) surprisingly overlooked and not responded to when highlighted. A complaint of overflowing water from shower cubicle was not responded to comprehensively and the problem persisted. Only a single cheap un-user-friendly kiddy (kids!)trash bin in the bathroom; no other bin in the bedroom! Ironically staffs try hard to be friendly but.. |

I booked this way in advance from the reviews and was definitely not disappointed, We had suite room which was large with nice TV, Wi Fi, great bathroom with a strong shower. The rooms were cleaned everyday, staff were charming and helpful. Reception were very attentive . Location is great : quiet area, close to Church . Great value. |

After a long flight to Hanoi, this was a welcoming retreat. The building is new, free breakfast with a fresh, huge selection. The style is modern and my room was quiet and clean. Location was great, very quiet. I expect to go here again. |

We had a wonderful stay at the Splendid Star Hotel. The employees were all very friendly and professional. We found that the staff went out of their way to help us in all our requests. We really enjoyed the quiet location, with no traffic noise and close church but still very convenient for sightseeing and discover Hanoi. We will definitely stay at the Splendid Star Hotel again. |

This is new & nice hotel with perfect location, in the middle of all activites: sightseeing, shopping, food and specially close the Church. Excellent value for money. Great location and helpful staff. Breakfast was fantastic. Rooms very clean with church view and towels changed at least once a day. From our room, we could hear the song and bell sound from the church in the morning - so fantastic.Have already recommended to friends and would definitely stay there again." |

Hotel location is great, close to St Joseph’s Catheral. We had two large beds, actually enough for four. Great hotel for families. Free high speed internet connection in the room was a high plus. Staff are very friendly and helpful with perfect service. We will definitely use again and will recommend this hotel to my friends. |

A marvelous spot. Very quiet area compared to busy & noisy living of Hanoi. The room was extremely clean, new and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely return Splendid Star Hotel. |

It is a new, nice hotel. Room on 6th floor is nice, comfortable with beautiful view of St Joseph's catheral. It was cleaned everyday.Hotel staff are very friendly, welcoming and polite. Breakfast is good. Definitely stay here if I travel to Hanoi. |

This is a very nice hotel which is doing everything right. It is very clean and comfortable, and a good place to stay. Breakfast is fine - nothing special but enough for me. the breakfast is free . Very good location. |

Old Street Hotel is a great place to stay while in Hanoi for the following reasons: 1) it's very accessible to everything being few meters away only to restaurants and shops line up along the Old Quarter Street 2) the rooms and the hotel vicinity are clean and well kept 3) guests have free access to internet 4) has friendly staff who could communicate in English well and 5) the price is just affordable. I believe I will always look forward to staying here while in Hanoi. |

You are treated like family the moment you arrive. You will get as much or as little attention as you like. All you have to do is ask and you will get whatever you need, whenever you need it. The service exceeded all of my expectations. The rooms were immaculate and very quiet. Also, the location is ideal as it sits right smack in the middle of Old Quarter Street. Overall, it was the best stay I have ever had anywhere in the world. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed |
