All staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast fare was good with many choices. Location of hotel is near to shops but at a quiet street, away from the bustling traffic.
The room is small for a family size room, nevertheless is very clean and comfortable.
many taxi drivers do not know the location of the hotel
Launge room with shower for guest already checked out waiting for a late night flight :) ... no additional cost
I would like to thanks the hotel's customer service staff,Ms. Helen. For our 3 nights stay ,she help us by direct us the location of the places of interest, places for nice shopping & also foods that is a must try in HCMC as this is our 1st time there. Not only that ,as we have encounter a bad experience of taxi driver overcharge us for trip from airport to Hotel & I was surprise she is able to find the taxi driver & manage to retrieve the overcharge money back to us.She is very helpful which made our 1st trip in HCMC a very wonderful one! The Hotel also provide packed breakfast for us to bring along as we have a early flight to catch during our departure day.
The Taxi in HCMC is really a disgrace to the tourism of Vietnam!I have call for a taxi from airport's counter & was told to hotel charge at VND250,000 but once I board the taxi ,the driver said I am to pay another VND200,000 for not sure is toll fee or carpark fee as we arrive at a booth not far from airport. As this is our 1st time there,we are not sure & there is communcation problem with the driver, therefore we have paid for it.
Staff really helpful organising and booking our bus from Saigon to mui ne. We also got ripped off in a taxi so catching a taxi outside of the hotel we asked the staff to make sure the taxi didn't add extra money. All really useful
- nice and clean hotel - staff tries to be nice - good location
- breakfast buffet closes at 10 am, but staff already ceased service at 9:15 am (I had to ask for coffee, most food was gone). - no airport pick-up or drop-off (not even for a surcharge) or tour desk - staff likes to hide behind their hotel guidelines - had bigger rooms in other 4 star hotels for less money
Well stay again! Excellent staff. So helpful!
This hotel was perfectly located in district 1. Within walking distance of all the city sites. The staff were excellent, very attentive and great at organising tours.
The bed was a little hard for my liking but that's just personal taste..
Just off the main busy street so virtually no motorbikes and very few cars pass by the hotel. You can sit outside the hotel and sip your morning coffee and its quiet and peaceful. Within the Korean and Japanese areas (restaurants) but choices of French and Vietnamese food still within walking distance. Renovations are almost complete so rooms are new and fresh.
staff with poor english for communication and service
Clean, comfy, good buffet breaky
A pool would be nice
Everything about the hotel is perfect.
Really enjoyed this hotel will recommend to anyone traveling to ho chi. Staff very helpful,English is well spoken. Lobby bar makes some exelent cocktails. Food is good and well priced. Highly recommend. Also good location, with walking distance to most attractions.
Staff were so friendly and couldnt do enough to help in anyway possible.
The whole thing was very good. External very good, situation good. The cleanness of the hotel was good despite they were redecorating the rooms.
helpful staff, position of hotel
housecleaning needs to be on the ball, they forgot towels, soap, not enough toilet paper, they were obtained easily enough after a few phone calls but just a hassle
The hotel was clean, staff friendly and rooms spacious. I was quietly surprised and was very happy with overall hotel. I have stayed at 5 star hotels and thought this hotel was much better then other higher rated hotels.
Constructions currently under progress on other levels. This did not impact my stay overly but it was noted. Would have been nice to dip in a pool after a warm day out.
The room and cleanliness
The noise and the small bathroom
doorman asks me if I need taxi and I say yes. He told me wait and gonna to arrange taxi service for me. my destination is VSIP 1. He charges me 1.6M but when I pick taxi by myself when I am gonna back to hotel from VSIP I, the fee is only 450,000. it is totally rip off.
Great location & hotel
The staff made me feel welcome and I was very comfortable in their company,it was my first time in vietnam and it feel to me that I was there before, and look forward to go again,
The location is pretty good for the price of the hotel. Walking distance to main downtown tourist areas. Friendly staff and good breakfast choices.
A bit noisy during the day as they are renovating. This is temporary.
I couldn't buy food from restaurant around because they are far from the hotel. I had to settle for the hotel's food which was not satisfying and expensive for money paid.
Good building, good location
Renovation, untrained staff, below standard breakfast
The entrance hall and staff are fantastic, and so is the newer and slightly more expensive side of the hotel.
We were initially in the cheaper side where the rooms are pretty basic and in need of rejuvenation, and due to some building work it became unacceptable. We were moved to the other side at no extra cost which was really appreciated.
