Walking distance to old part of town. Restaurant on river and nice selection on breakfast buffet. Also liked the vegetable garden next to restaurant. Swimming pool and shuttle to beach also worth mentioning.

very good looking place on an excellent spot, overlooking An Hoi river, with very nice,large, clean rôlm, overlooking the garden. excellent, large breakfast, nice swimming pool. bike rental just across the street

The hotel is situated just across the bridge from city centre which makes it very easy to do shopping, tailoring/fitting etc. without too much transport time. The pool area it really neat and the garden is very nice. We had a terrific view to the other side of the river and in evening very nice lights from there. Apart from reception manager the staff was very helpful and friendly.

The restaurant is appalling. Not even local food is good, but we had some pizza and lasagna which was inedible as well as expensive. Breakfast uninteresting. Spa was no good; footbath in cold water and overpriced compared to other spas in area. Problems with bathrooms; no/cold water. Light bulbs not working. It seemed like a management problem with quality assurance. Laundry prices so high I doubt they do any laundry at all, across the street it costs 1 usd per kg. In the street behind the hotel there is a brilliant and cheap little restaurant which we can recommend.

We liked the location and rooms, breakfast was O.K., if you don't come half an hour before closing. Local staff, cleaners, gardeners, security very helpful.

The receptionist was overbearing, wanted to sell us so many things before we even handed over the passports after a long trip down by train.....and for a major tourist attraction no one spoke much English.. Very annoying... The breakfast was a bulk standard affair

We booked a riverside bungalow,very clean. The safe had to be replaced 3 times but this was not problem for the staff. Very small bathroom and towels. Situated next to a bridge which take you straight into the old city. Breakfast a buffet style, eggs cooked fresh.

Bathroom ran out of hot water when trying to take a bath, Towells very small. Nothing major though.

Great pool and location overlooking the river

Hard beds and food at the hotel expensive in comparison to the surrounding restaurants.

The scenery and surroundings were nice and very relax.

The receiptionist keeps pushing us the expensive room on the first day of check-in and wasted a lot of out time

We booked three separate beds . We got a bungalow with one double.We eventually got what we booked but the manager was bitchy about the proceedings and seemed to blaim us. We had to prove that we asked it on the booking .com reservation . Only then did he reluctantly do his job .He figured we had to pay 20 § for the extra bed , and again was angry when we proved we booked for 15 § . All the time saying that he wanted to be a good manager because he did not want us to complain about his hotel when we got home .Funny really. All in all we loved it as after the first hour we never had to see the man again and all the other personnel was very nice and friendly ..

Very rich choice for breakfast. Very spacious rooms.

At arrival we noticed a sign at the counter that you could play only in cash. But booking.com mentions that credit cards are accepted. On check- out, I insisted to pay with my credit card. It took a while (even the guy from the bank had to pass to make their little machine work) but I finally succeeded. As in many places (and in fact incorrect) they charged 3% extra fee for payment with credit card.

Very romantic hotel, made of lots of wood/bamboo, at an island, specially the rooms on the riverside, nice garden,10 minutes walk to the old town center. At the room: fresh fruit every day.

Nice and clean room. Good breakfast and possibility to eat outside by the river. Friendly in reception. Internet access.

The location is great, right on the river and close to the old town. We had some problems while we were here and the staff were very friendly and helpful when resolving our problems. The pool is awesome, highly reccommend a sunset swim overlooking the river. The breakfast in the restaurant was nice too. The grounds are very nice and have a great feel to them.

The rooms in this hotel are fairly run down, and a bit dirty. We originally booked a budget room and it was in very poor condition for the price paid ($37). The ac, tv remote didnt work, and everything was very old in the room, and generally pretty rough. We chose to upgrade to a more expensive room, and the ac still didnt work. We ended up in one of their japanese villas and the staff were very helpful, giving us the second upgrade for no charge. The room was still very dated and the beds are just hard foam mats. I would reccomend this hotel for the grounds and pool but the rooms seriously need to be upgraded, all of the appliances are old and a bit rough. It is also pretty noisy like all hotels in Vietnam.
