Southern Hotel & Villa  

Die Angestellten waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel liegt ruhig etwas außerhalb der Stadt, aber es gibt einen kostenlosen Shuttlebus jede Stunde in die Stadt. Man kann günstig Fahrräder leihen um zum Strand zu fahren. Der Pool ist einfach klasse und das Frühstücksbuffet war richtig gut. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sehr sauber. Kostenloses Wlan. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert!

Am Anfang beim Einchecken gab es Probleme. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Doppelbett bestellt, das leider nicht zur Verfügung stand. Man bot uns an nach einem Tag das Zimmer zu wechseln, dann sei eins mit Doppelbett frei. Das wollten wir nicht. Alternativ könnten wir gegen Aufpreis in ein teureres Zimmer mit Doppelbett ziehen, das wollten wir ebensowenig. Da wir hartnäckig blieben, hat das Hotel nachgegeben. Es war ihr Fehler, wir haben das bessere Zimmer zum gleichen Preis bekommenn. Trotzdem waren alle immer sehr freundlich. Man muß halt hartnäckig bleiben.

Sehr freundliches, kompetentes und hilfsbereites Personal. Es gibt einen stuendlichen Shuttle-Services in die Innenstadt und zurueck. Das Hotel liegt ca. 15-20 min vom Stadtzentrum entfernt, was sich jedoch auch gut erlaufen laesst. Der hoteleigene Pool ist sehr sauber, die Anlage ist insgesamt gepflegt. Die Zimmer sind sauber. Das Fruehstuecksbuffet ist etwas uebersichtlich, es wurde nur zoegerlich nachgelegt. Allerdings kann man sich auch Ruehrei u.a. bestellen.

Der Abreisetag - das Hotel versucht mit Betrug und Täuschung einem das Geld aus der Tasche zu ziehen.

Friendly and excellent staff, the pool was nice. The room was really good value, and very nice. Hotel's location is a bit far from the old town of Hoi An. However, the hotel provides an hourly free shuttle to old town.

calm, not in the center, good swiming-pool, the staff was incredible, very nice and helpful.if you have a claim or problem always available to help you and to solve your problems.

The hotel looks great and is relaxing and enjoyable. It is a liitle bit out of town but this means it is also quieter.The pool is clean and a really great place to relax by. The hotel staff are courteous and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

We were so busy doing other things that we didn't use the pool, however it is deep and a good size. There are a number of computers near reception with free internet access, and the free hourly shuttle bus service was reliable and on time. The Hotel was able to arrange motorbike or bicycle hire easily and nothing was a problem. We had a great stay and would only like to have stayed longer!

The location , the room was very spacious and clean , a courtesy bus was available . The spa and massage was exceptional . The staff were vey helpful and internet was available and was free.

Overall, a very nice place. We ended up staying there for 3 weeks. The room was a good size, the bathroom had a bathtub with a shower in it and a curtain which is sometimes hard to come by in Vietnam. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day and the room was always clean as was the rest of the hotel facilities. Breakfast each morning was really good, we saw a number of earlier reviews complaining about the breakfast but we loved it. Didn't matter if we showed up at the start or end of breakfast, there was always bread, croissants, tarts and muffins, fresh fruit, eggs or omelets cooked to order and usually cheese as well. They don't put a lot of food out at one time but they constantly refill it. If something is empty, wait for 30 seconds. The walk in to town was nice as long as it was not raining and the shuttle bus was handy when it was raining. Massage services were good, professional and comparably priced to other places we checked in town.

It could sometimes be loud in the morning with construction going on next door and a bit of renovation work going on in the hotel itself. This should hopefully not last for much longer though.

The cheaper rooms in this hotel are a bit old, but clean and comfortable.The hotel manager is so nice and friendly and we had a wonderful chat before we checked out. All-in all we had a lovely stay. The pool is beautiful and if you go for the more expensive pool-side villas they have a nice balcony and pool-view. Wi-fi was fast, breakfast was a nice buffet by the pool, and the hotel is very quiet at night.

Location... not a big problem though. Taxi is $2 into the old town or a 10 minute cycle on a $1 per day bicycle.... maybe walking is a bit too far :)
