Clean, Convenient, Value For Money
The following is my letter to the hotel: BOOKING.COM has advised me to write to you to complain about the room I was given on 29 August. I will indicate in detail the problems associated with the room and with my experiences with RECEPTION. At RECEPTION, I saw that the room was 380,000 VND, a fixed price less than the USA$19 quoted by BOOKING.COM. The receptionist was initially insistent that I pay $19 or its equivalent in VND. This I refused to do and went to the bank to obtain the quoted price in VND being just a few cents over $18. I paid, but the RECEPTIONIST seemed very reluctant to provide me with a receipt. This is a serious breech of business ethics. The room had a water damaged wall; the room was missing one light bulb as was the bathroom. In the bathroom there was NO HOT WATER. There was a hole in the wall facing the toilet. All in all, my experience with your hotel has been dismal, and I have requested BOOKING.COM to terminate their relationship with you unless you offer some financial redress. Stuart William Greif
