Hotel Rex ligger i centrum af Ho Chi Minh-byen, 1 km fra markedet Ben Thanh. Det har et kasino og en tagrestaurant. Der er også en komplet spa og et fitnesscenter. Hotel Rex ligger mindre end 10 minutters gang fra dukketeatret Golden Dragon Water og operahuset. Notre Dame-kirken ligger 500 m derfra. De lydisolerede værelser er indrettet i moderne vietnamesisk stil og har balkon. De har gratis trådløs internetadgang og tv med kabelkanaler. De har alle kaffe- og tefaciliteter. Gæsterne kan slappe af med en dukkert i swimmingpoolen eller spille en omgang tennis. Der er mulighed for at dyrke yoga, aerobic og dansetimer. Der er også boblebad. Lobby område flot, Roof top baren rigtig god, morgenmad 'fin fin'. Værelset var absolut ikke af samme standard som lobbyområde. Gammelt urenoveret, lugtede af fugt og ingen vinduer.

The hotel was in an ideal location for touring around Ho Chi Minh Staff were very accommodati\ing and the spoke English. The breakfast was good with a wide variety of items to choose from very clean. The rooftop had a very nice bar with enterntainment nitely. Beautiul and well equiped fitness room with pool and sauna. I would definately recommend this hotel and stay here again piped in music that I could hear in the courtyard from our room seemed to wake me up everyday. I would probably stay in the renovated side of the hotel for a few more dollars. The bathroom lighting was not very good. The air conditioning was extremely loud

Efficient and friendly staff The room (457) was directly under the gym and both mornings we were woken by the sound of weights being dropped on the floor above our head, making the room vibrate. Very disappointing. The room should not be used until additional matting is placed there.

The staf were exceptionally helpful and very pleasant. Service was really good. The in house facilities such as the gym was excellent. No bad news.

That it was a terrace especially fornew year. But nobody told us thatwe have to book an arrangement at the hotel, so when we came back from dinner with friends in town we wanted to have a drink at the roof top bar but we could not get in. Very bad service not to inform that in our room so that we could go another place. We missed New year because of your arrangement......not good. New year arrangment

The Rex hotel has a storied past that adds to it allure. That the reception asked to see the marriage certificate of my Vietnam- born wife.

The location is perfect, in the very center of the city. The view from the restaurant on the roof is outstanding. Nice casino! 1. The food in the restaurant is far from perfect, especially for the asked price. It was funny when several waiters couldnt find any sign of a shark in a shark soup. 2. Luxe suite is just a simple suite with two rooms. Far from being luxe. 3. Comparing to other Vietnamese people, the hotel staff is quite unfriendly and spoiled. The concierge was extremely displeased to receive an amount equal to the cost of lunch at a Vietnamese dinery. 4. In the evening there was no hot water in the room. Not a five star hotel.

fantastic location friendly and helpful staff wonderful breakfast The hallways are so smelly - like the smell of dirty - mouldy wet carpet. The smell brings the uncomfortable feeling about the whole hotel. I missed the old - small Rex Hotel where I could see more personal touches.

The breakfast buffet is great, the gym is sparkling new and well- equipped, and there is no other place to be but the rooftop sipping sunset cocktails. Almost everything you need to see and eat is within a 20-minute walk - it's a great town to stroll about. We weren't informed when we made our reservation that we had to pay for and attend a compulsory New Year's Eve gala dinner, which turned out to be absolutely disappointing with poor food and entertainment. Also, the old wing of the hotel could use a facelift for the five-star rating of the hotel.

A legendary hotel in the centre of hcmc. Our new wing suite was impeccable. Nice breakfast. Given the standard and the reputation of the hotel the swimming pool was a bit of a let down. Like in so many other places in Vietnam there was quite a bit of building noise that started in the early morning.

First,the staff friendliness and efficiency.Never a problem,making your stay easy.Of course the location is really ideal, everywhere I had to go was at walking distance and when your destination is a little far,you never wait long to get a taxi.

Location. Overall aprearanvce was quite nice.Staff were efficient and friendly. The rate for the room was very good Not enough choice for food and drink facilities. No indoor bar/lounge

Spacious. Suite large and well fitted I like older historic building and the renovations produced very comfortable modern bedrooms. Breakfast and room serive fine. They have lost the ambiance in lobby restaurants etc. from the renovations. Spa is not yet renovated - treatments good but the shower was area old.

i booked a junior suite and when we arrived the suite had no windows, the hotel moved me to another room with a window but no view, moved again and it was good. it left a bad feeling with us, i would have to think again if we are to use booking.com as we feel that a junior suite should have all the trimmings. if we had booked a deluxe room god only knows where the room would have been

We were very impresses with our stay at the Rex Hotel right from the check in to the check out. We took two tours from the tour desk and the represenative was helpful and the driver and guide were excellent. We were impressed with the room both for comfort and cleanliness and the inclusive breakfast was very good. I would reccommend this hotel to other travellers.

Staff incredibly helpful, friendly and polite. The room was beautiful and spacious. The hotel is in an excellent location close to markets, shops and restaurants. wi-fi connection was poor

We were celebrating our honeymoon and all the double premium rooms were taken so they upgraded us to a suite without us having to ask. Also the roof terrace is fantastic. The pool and spa areas are looking very tired and in real need of an update to keep pace with the rest of the hotel.
