Very expensive and the room wasn't very glamorous.

Efficient and friendly staff

The room (457) was directly under the gym and both mornings we were woken by the sound of weights being dropped on the floor above our head, making the room vibrate. Very disappointing. The room should not be used until additional matting is placed there.

The staf were exceptionally helpful and very pleasant. Service was really good. The in house facilities such as the gym was excellent.

No bad news.

That it was a terrace especially fornew year. But nobody told us thatwe have to book an arrangement at the hotel, so when we came back from dinner with friends in town we wanted to have a drink at the roof top bar but we could not get in. Very bad service not to inform that in our room so that we could go another place. We missed New year because of your arrangement......not good.

That the reception asked to see the marriage certificate of my Vietnam- born wife.

fantastic location friendly and helpful staff wonderful breakfast

The hallways are so smelly - like the smell of dirty - mouldy wet carpet. The smell brings the uncomfortable feeling about the whole hotel. I missed the old - small Rex Hotel where I could see more personal touches.

The breakfast buffet is great, the gym is sparkling new and well- equipped, and there is no other place to be but the rooftop sipping sunset cocktails. Almost everything you need to see and eat is within a 20-minute walk - it's a great town to stroll about.

We weren't informed when we made our reservation that we had to pay for and attend a compulsory New Year's Eve gala dinner, which turned out to be absolutely disappointing with poor food and entertainment. Also, the old wing of the hotel could use a facelift for the five-star rating of the hotel.

A legendary hotel in the centre of hcmc. Our new wing suite was impeccable. Nice breakfast.

Given the standard and the reputation of the hotel the swimming pool was a bit of a let down. Like in so many other places in Vietnam there was quite a bit of building noise that started in the early morning.

First,the staff friendliness and efficiency.Never a problem,making your stay easy.Of course the location is really ideal, everywhere I had to go was at walking distance and when your destination is a little far,you never wait long to get a taxi.

Not enough choice for food and drink facilities. No indoor bar/lounge

i booked a junior suite and when we arrived the suite had no windows, the hotel moved me to another room with a window but no view, moved again and it was good. it left a bad feeling with us, i would have to think again if we are to use booking.com as we feel that a junior suite should have all the trimmings. if we had booked a deluxe room god only knows where the room would have been

Staff incredibly helpful, friendly and polite. The room was beautiful and spacious. The hotel is in an excellent location close to markets, shops and restaurants.

wi-fi connection was poor
