the entrance foyer is lovely I was really disappointed in our room. we paid for a room that was the second category - above superior. the first room that we were given was dreadfully small and poor quality- I immediately connacted the desk and we were given a better room - but this was on the roadside and extremely noisy - and so I did not sleep - when speaking to the staff we were moved to another room - really small and average quality, but quiet. When looking at the website - i felt that the pictures were misleading as the room that we had were not at all good. I would not choose this hotel again - because I would have to have at least the junior suite - but I am not sure whether this would be a high enough standard room for my tastes |

shower head was a wand that could not be better positioned, so bath water would run off into the floor. there was also the waif of raw onions in the hallways but wasn't too overwhelming. |

First we got a room without windows in the old wing which was horrific. Once we complained we got a new room facing the front of the hotel. This room (junior suite) was absolutely 5 star - comfortable, huge bathroom, separate living room, no noise from the busy street. The roof-top bar is an icon, great location and view |

Location was great! But the room...wasn't bad, wasn't great...the room we stayed was totally different from their web site. They had half of their building renovated and the photos were probably taken from one of the renovated rooms so it looked very clean although this hotel is very old. The room which was offered to us was terrible. It smelt bad and looked dirty and the bed size wasn't what we asked for so we complained and they changed to a much better room (but it still wasn't as good as the photos on the web.) I thought the breakfast was pretty good as well. The actual room is totally different from the photos on their web site. You should ask for renovated room. It might get better in few years time when they complete the full renovation. |

It is very central and the spa is good. The staff do not speak good English, the beds are uncomfortable and the rooms seem like they need updating. It was very noisy at night and during the day. It was a bit smelly in places. The whole hotel needs updating. |

The ambiance of Hotel is very good. The staff excellent and very courtious and friendly. Being centre of city, you could just walk around to see places of interest, shopping, dining, bars etc. etc. A very good location for tourists. Yes, the showe in the room I stayed 5th floor old block, water from shower was trickling, Room changed in same floor but just 25% better. They sad all rooms in the floor are the same !! They need to do something about that. But overall stay very comfortable. |

Location is excellent & convenient! The front staff are always trying to be helpful. Breakfast is fantastic! Rooms are pretty aged. Rooms facing the outside streets are really LOUD! Cars, motorbikes and honking horns 24/7!! Better bring the ear plugs. |

Very helpful, friendly staff (Asian people are far more customer friendly than the UK and really can't do enough for you). Most had good English language skills. Fantastic central location. |
