The staff on reception were really friendly and did everything with a smile. They arranged my tours of the city and of Halong bay. David Trung made you feel as if you were family upon arrival. Nothing is too much trouble at this hotel. Clean and spacious rooms. Perfect hotel for a city stopover.

The roon is very clean, smells fresh and is nicely decorated. We had a family room and was perfect for a couple with 1 kid. We stayed at 3 different hotels in Hanoi and this was the best value for money.

Made arrangements before our travel to have the hotel pick us up at the airport since we will be arriving around 1am. Our flight got delayed for an hour but the driver really waited for us. He was a very good driver, very safe although the car that picked us up was not that comfortable since we were 5 and we could not fit comfortably in a sedan. Hotel was very clean, not spacious as most hotels in Vietnam. My reviews on : bed - very good firm mattress, with very clean white soft sheets. Size of bed - (superior twin) can fit a person with an average height of not greater than 5'10. Pillows - soft and fluffy. Wifi- very fast. Password for each floor was written on a sheet of paper pasted on the writing desk. Fridge- well stacked with drinks (for pay). There's a hairdryer, hangers, extra duvet in the closet, slippers for two. Service- exceptional. 2Nd floor is quite noisy since its just above the dining area (but its ok since we wake up early but for those who want to sleep in it will be a nuisance), bathroom with the tub - very small tub (a person should not be more than 5'7 in height to feel comfortable )and without any closure- water leaking out every bathing. Safe- movable, bidet - kinda rusty, water very strong pressure (2nd floor rooms),toiletries and complimentary water - not refilled/replenish daily.

The reception was very helpfull with tips on where to go and where to eat. What to miss and what to not miss. The location was perfect and so central. The wifi was very bad and the bed in the room was extremely hard. The rooms are not sound proof at all so you can hear everything. The breakfast was a bit dissapointing.

I could not believe the service and the value for my money at the Rising Dragon Legend. The location was prime, easy to find when walking about. The bed was comfortable, with remote controlled a/c for the room. The bathroom was very nice, lovely shower. Breakfast is free in the dining area until 10am... And you get to choose from a menu what you would like to eat! Laundry services are efficient and inexpensive, as well as travel arrangements for tours can be made for what seems to be a minimal mark-up for the convenience. The staff are amazing - I wanted to stay en extra night, but the hotel was all booked, so they arranged a room for me at one of their other locations and even the taxi was complimentary to get me there! I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thanks everyone! There are several rising dragons, (legend, villa, palace...) so just be careful that your taxi driver is clear on which one you are going to! At 2am, (or anytime) being dropped off at the wrong place can be a little unnerving :p Other than that, I didn't like having to say goodbye!

Warm welcome since we stepped into the hotel. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Really nice room we stayed in. The hotel is in the old quarter. you could easily walk to attractions. We also took a day tour to Halongbay from the hotel. Great service! Free coffee/tea 24hrs. Couldnt find a wifi network in the room i stayed so i had to come down to the lobby to use the internet.

Good location in the Old Quarter and close to Hoan Kiem lake. Staff are friendly and helpful and the front desk staff speak pretty good English. Room is clean and modern with modern bathroom. Good breakfast too. Just be sure to ask for a room witha window as some don't have any.

The staff at the Rising Dragon were fantastic, really friendly and always ready to help in way they could. They organised 2 trips for us to Halong Bay and Sapa. In between those trips they allowed us to get showers and have room for the day free of charge. Their breakfast was also good.

The Rising Dragon Legend is a very clean, comfortable hotel, ideally located to walk to most of Hanoi's museums and points of interest. It's across the street from The Green Tangerine, one of Hanoi's best restaurants. Close to shopping. The staff are all really friendly and helpful and speak english perfectly. Breakfast was excellent. Kudo's to Leo, he's helpful, honest and very friendly. We loved the Legend and it will be our home in Hanoi.

The pillow top beds, the buffet, breakfast, the location and the lovely staff. They put me in a cupboard on my first night, not even big enough to swing a mouse! However when I observed that it bore no resemblance to the picture advertised on the website they moved me to a much bigger room immediately.

-It was cheap -great location -super friendly attentive staff who helped us with our plans. Some people say they hotels charge more for tours they sell, but we seem to think they charged less because the online prices were higher. But we didnt bother with shopping around the agencies, maybe it couldve been cheaper but the convenience of having the hotel show us options and arrange tickets was great. They got our Halong bay tour, our Ninh Binh tour and the overnight train tikets to hue. -Free water, tea and coffee. -Very good breakfast for a budget place! -Super soft sheets and comfortable (firm) bed -very clean -safety box in room -we went to a street restaurant around the corner to have street Pho and it was the best we had in vietnam for like 1 euro! Not a sexy eatery but great pho. -Even after checking out they were very kind, offering us coffee, tea, water and free wifi while we waited for our time to leave. -I cant think of anything... We had an interior room which at first was a bummer but then we were glad because we didnt get any of the super annoying street noise so we booked it again for another night at the end of our trip.

Friendly, helpful and very pleasant staff were always on hand when needed for help and advice. We wanted a hotel in Hanoi's old city and couldn't have been happier with the location. Size of the room we booked was very cramped and difficult to move around in. I would stay at the Rising Dragon again but this time I would purchase on of their bigger rooms.

The service was excellent, friendly, professional and charming. The team helped with organizing vietnamese SIM card. Upon request, we were picked up from the airport without any concerns (17 USD - nice price, others payed more). Location is perfect for exploring the old city! No concerns...
