Things have changed since my last visit finding especially some taxi drivers having a set price only for a short trip that was at least double the proper rate. It seems greed has set in for some people.

Loved the Old Town.
Loved the Old Town. Made use of arranged tour by a lical guide, so learnt a lot more about the culture and history. Making use of bicycle made the towm more accessible and was one reason we chose the hotel we did - they were free. Loved the cooking class we booked onto, but hated the coconut grove boat trip - extremely touristy, loud and felt was based on what the locals believed tourists expected 'Gangdem' style loud music that the roweres could spin the boats to. The beach at An Bang was lovely and not too busy. We cycled, parked our bicycles at a beachside restaurant, booked a sunbed and coffee each to avoid paying 'parking' fee we were harrassed for on arrival.

The old town is so pretty and we loved staying here and wished we could have stayed longer. It’s also close to so many attractions including the Golden Bridge and Ba Na Hills which is a must to visit. We loved eating at the old town Morning Glory restaurant but you need to get there early if you want a good seat.
Loved all the bars also and the town is very eco friendly with lots of electric shuttle taxis at very reasonable prices.
We didn’t get round to doing the river boat rides but these were very popular also.

The history is most interesting and the architecture is largely original. The Old Town is very pretty and people are friendly and are not insistent. It is very easy to get around Hoi An on foot.
The tailors seem very knowledgeable and we are happy with the items we had made. Some tips on having clothes made: decide on the style before you go and take a picture, wear the correct underwear, you can take your own fabric if you wish. We had wonderful service from NY Central Tailors.

Loved everything except found the street hawkers too...
Loved everything except found the street hawkers too persistent and aggressive in their marketing it made me feel bad having to get harsh with them to make them understand no. I did buy some things but one can only spend so much on these souvenirs . All 4 people in our party got stomach problems from contaminated food . There is a need to implement stricter health regulations re preparation of food. We only used bottled water for drinking & teeth cleaning
Best stay ever of my trip in Vietnam. We were upgraded to a Suite, the room was nice and spacious. Hotel was in great location in the town of Hoi An with easy access to ancient town. Staff went extra miles to assist us during the stay. They helped us to get tickets for Memories of Hoi An show (which was so worthy to watch). Make sure you borrow a bike from the hotel then go for a ride in the old town, it's the best way to enjoy the town then book massage to relax afterwards. Will definitely recommend this accommodation
Perfect location.
Friendliest staff, extremely helpful in guiding you and never felt like they are only after money.
Free bicycle.
Infact, their transport from hotel to airport was cheaper than GRAB taxi which I liked.
Really comfortable and peaceful place 2 km away from the old town.
Highly rated restaurants just across the street from the hotel 100m walk.
Staff members Ms.My and Ms.Lee were especially awesome in the arrangements and warm nature.
10/10 I recommend this place.
Absolutely amazing stay. We had the best time here. The hotel is beautiful, staff are so welcoming and kind! Lily was very helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast each morning was incredible. 2 pools are very nice and free bikes to borrow as well. Hotel has shuttle to old town and beach which is really nice and you can also grab for about $1.50 each way. Spa was great-we had several treatments while there and they were incredible value. We will be back!
The staff at Hoi An gardens were extremely friendly and helpful. They helped organise a tour and Danang airport transfer. We had the family suite which was fantastic and very large. The pool is lovely after a day in Hoi An. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. The Hotel is a little way from the centre of Hoi An old town but easy to get a taxi if you need it. Bikes were free to use and an easy, scenic and mainly low/no traffic ride to the beach.
We stayed at the hotel a little bit less than a week. We are traveling as a family of 5 including 2 young children.(2 and 4).
We had a great time. The location is ideally placed between the old town and the beach. The room is fine, breakfast is great and overall this is amazing value.
Special mention to the staff with whom the kids and my non English speaking father connected alot. They really took great care of us.
10/10 would do again
Hoi An Palmy Villa is one of those little gems. The facilities are great, nice large rooms, very friendly and helpful owners (family) and staff who do anything to please. Nice, big pool. In a great location near Ba Le market so easy going to either Old Town, the beaches or the rice fields. For long staying guests they even provide a free lunch one day for you with traditional Vietnamese meals.
This is such a lovely place to stay, just outside the hustle and bustle of Hoi An. A free shuttle to the old town, free bikes, an excellent breakfast and a very reasonably priced restaurant means that you have everything you need. Even a complimentary cooking class and lunch which was superb. If you want a slice of local luxury in Vietnam while avoiding the big chain hotels, this is the one.
Best hotel we've been in Vietnam so far. Cherry and An are thoughtful and welcoming, always there to help organize our trip. The room is clean and very spacious. Hotel is close by the old town and outside the noise. We did the Han oi memories show and the bicycle tours, both are very different and enjoyable activities to understand Han oi and it's local people.
This is a great property, near the old town with lovely rooms, AC and fans, a pool and courtyard. The staff were fantastic and helped me organize activities, arranged laundry and transport. You can use hotel bicycles to get to the beach and around town. Nice towels and linens and the room was quiet. I had a great balcony with a view over the garden.
Great value for money (we travelled in January) - Good sized rooms, clean, great pool (albeit not heated), good breakfast, walking distance to Hoi An old town (less than 10 minutes), hotel provides deckchairs & umbrellas on An Bang beach (if you can nab one!), short/cheap Grab/taxi ride to An Bang beach and coconut water village (~$5), friendly staff.
We really loved staying there. All of the staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough to make our stay superb, organising trips out and transfers from the hotel. Special thanks to Kim. We all loved Hoi an. Close to the beach. $2 to $3 taxi to Hoi an old town. Great to ride the bikes. Definitely recommend going there and staying at KA Villa.
Wonderful boutique hotel. Located just a few minutes walk from the center of old town, close to plenty of restaurants, spas, shopping, and night market. Very complete buffet breakfast. Room with river view is a must ! All the staff were courteous and went out of their way to serve us, including Min, Jack and Amber. Highly recommend.
Amazing property and location right at the beach ! Close to old town with free shuttle in to town , you are crazy if you don’t book this hotel! Best one hands down !
The staff is absolutely adorable & helpful in every way as they are trying to
Ensure you have a fantastic stay & vacation. I can’t say enough good about this place :)
The rooms were clean and cleaned everyday. A great location...a 10-15 minute walk to the Old Town. The pool is clean and nice. Lastly, the restaurant is SO good! You don't need to eat anywhere else for Vietnamese food! Lastly, the hosts were so great...a family feel here. I am so happy I chose this hotel for my stay in Hoi An!
Close enough to the old town but far enough of the chaos! It’s located in the middle of the rice fields and from our balcony, we could see the amazing views. We also enjoyed lounging around the pool during the day. The hotel is family owned and everyone was very kind and helpful with all our requests. Thank you so much!
The villa's location is perfect—just a few steps from the Hoi-An night market. You can wake up early and walk to the old town before it's crowded.
The family room is suited for a family. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. We also have a wifi router in our room. That's awesome.
Everything was faultless - new modern rooms and amenities, friendly staff, great breakfast, good location both to the beach and the Old Town with free bicycles to get there. Anne and Trang run the place like a hotel, but treat the guests like bed and breakfast hosts!
+ Spacious room
+ Awesome friendly staff
+ Amazing breakfast
+ Nice Pool
One of the best hotels we stayed in Vietnam.
The spa was very nice.
You can rent a scooter for 150.000 VND/24h
10min by food to the old town
Airport transfer worked perfectly.
Beautiful hotel in a very tranquil setting, was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of Old Town. Enjoyed riding bikes to the beach and only around a $2 taxi to get to the restaurants and shops.
