we stayed just 2 nights, book 2 family rooms - they were clean, could be more spacious. the seaview is very nice. the personel was ok, the area is quite and safe
- a little bit far from the main promenade - overpriced but all hotels there are expensive...
Very good value for money for a family of four it was nice to be near the beach and go for a walk along the foreshore...
Restaurant and reception staff very friendly. Great value for money.
Quite & relaxing atmosphere. Front beach offers excellent view. The double elevators work real good (I've never seen good working elevator in any hotel in Vietnam).
Room is so small. Balcony facing to the beach is also small with limited view.
Good location, nice room with nice view , strong wifi .

Good location, personnel is always ready to help and to answer all your questions. The staff is very polite and friendly. Clean rooms, very good noise isolation. In a room there is a teakettle, every day you receive tea bags, sugar and free water. Nice view from the balcony on the sea.
Poor English of the staff. It will be better if breakfast will be included in the booking.
Staff were nice. No problems and felt safe and comfortable. Taxis wait for you. Sweet as.
No beer in bar fridge. Had to order and pay 20,000 dong extra on 4 beers.
Good price/quality Nice location for tourism Clean & quiet
Very far from business center
Stayed here 3 times now. Good hotel
Getting busier outside with new development so it's getting noisy at night more often.
It located in a quite place near the beach and only about 3 minutes by car to the enormous statue of Christ. Rooms are cosy and clean, staff is friendly. Breakfasts provided in big restaurant, food was varied and tasty.
execellent breakfrast, across the street to beach
Good location, good supplies of clean towels. good ocean view
cleaniless, good location, communication with the receptionists.
eveything is near to perfect except for the wifi.... cannot get any reception in the room.
Aside from an unfriendly staff the hotel is in a nice location and clean.
There was no acknowledgment from the staff-no smiles, no one held doors, the bell boy was only seen once and did not help guests, and the staff did not speak English. We were charged 200.000 VND to rent gear mopeds, then told that they were out and given automatics with the promise of "no extra charge" After returning the mopeds they tried to charge 300.000 bc it was automatic (price of rental also fluctuated between different staff members so it can be assumed that they pocket the money). Rental was BY DAY not by hour so the 8 hours spent on sleeping and not on the moped is wasted. When asked if they could cut us a deal on a half-day rental, the receptionist was stubborn and actually ignored us by attending to incoming guests and charged the full day price of 200.000 VND anyways. Our new, checked-in room had a full trash can and the shower leaked as the doors did not completed closed.
very near to the beachside
very noisy the local people
I liked the setting of my room. It's friendly, luxurious and decent. I enjoyed every moment. Finally, i enjoyed the meals i had. I looked forward to my next visit.
Location, Breakfast, Staff
Ants in room, bed etc, Selection of food on menu for lunch or dinner. Items on menu, but do not have many times.
Friendly personnel, the hotel close to the seaside, nice seaview from the room -> this type of room recommended
The room was cleaned not every day, the cleaning lady once forgot to close the room after cleaning
location. peaceful & 15mins walk to jesus statue
not much eateries and things to do at night
Great location. Staff friendly and helpful. My suster and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we had a balcony room with a fantastic sea view, cool breezes, instead of needing to use air con. HBO, Cinemax, Star Movies also gave good choice in the heat of the day. A $4 taxi into town when we went out for dinner, well worth our staying at the back beach.
Two days there was only limited breakfast from a menu when the hotel not so full midweek.
Good value, friendly and helpful staff. Main Street opposite the beach.
Location, not many opportunities for food in the area.
Romeliess Hotel reminds me of those days in Nha Trang when you could grab a great Ocean View hotel for $20. Deluxe Double or Twin Room with Sea View has a close view of the action on the street below, and about 30m beyond that is the ocean. The photos don't show you how close the beach feels to the room. For Vietnam, the road is very quiet. Its 10.20pm, and the stall vendors are still over the road selling fresh seafood. Everybody is smiling in Vung Tau, and its probably such a relief for visitors from Saigon to get to the beach. My sheets are spotless, bed is medium hard, but not too hard. Bathroom is not tired. It's not the Hilton, but the hotel is not old, so its not falling apart. (Not yet) The girls at reception have limited English, but enough to answer some basic questions. Remember its not rudeness for Vietnamese to turn away, just shyness about language. Just a hint. There are two beach clubs about 15 mins walk away. One is 200,000VND (Has infinite pool) and one is 80,000 VND. I preferred to pay extra to use these facilities, than pay an extra $50 per night for an international hotel with a pool. Also, the prices were cheap for beer (USD$1-2) and you could walk onto the beach. Room Tip: Deluxe Double or Twin Room with Sea View would be the minimum.
taxi fee is very high and taxi driver lied customer
The view from our bedroom window was breathtaking, the sun rise and sun set were magnificent. The hotel facility were nice and clean. The beach is just right across the street.
We love everything about this hotel. Nothing to complain about.
Room with a sea view excellent.
No Wi Fi in the room even after reporting it on several times to reception. Shower was tired and leaked back from the drain into the bathroom making the floor wet.
