Saigon Phu Quoc Resort & Spa  

The location is perfect. very good hotel. amaizing view. very good brekfeast. The SPA in the hotel is very good. the best in Vietnam. The hotel is a very smart decision. I wish I will stay in this hotel again in my life .. Staff are very nice and friendly .

All was just fantastic. The bungalows are very clean and comfortable, fresh fruits every day with compliments. Sea view and grass patio was very nice. Free kayaks, bicycles, not crowed private beach, clean water and excellent food.

Be prepared that in the pretty expensive hotel you will get equally expensive food, though very good quality.

The personell was almost perfect irrespective poor English and almost no Russian.

Absence of normal WC and Dressing rooms on the beach.

Lovely location, pristine resort. We enjoyed the fact there was a tennis court & table tennis. It was very quiet and relaxing and made for a very enjoyable holiday. We didn't eat in the restaurant aside from breakfast.

The staff were fine, but didn't go out of their way to help when we asked for advise on a tour. Very quiet, one day we went down to the sunset bar at sunset and there was nobody manning it, so we walked along the beach to a neighbouring resort for a drink.

Great beach, great breakfast. Individual bungalow's were very nice with private patios.

A little pricey for what you get.

By one hand, location is good because is close to downtown, to the new airport and the best restaurants in the island. The swimming pool is great and the hotel's main restaurant too (very good food). Free transfer to airport is reliable.

Because it is too close from downtown, see waters are constantly polluted. Like anywhere all over this region, geckos are everywhere, including in your room. Overall the place is a bit old (80's feeling) but did not affect negatively our experience.

This was a really nice place to relax after our 2 week cycling tour through the mainland of Vietnam. The staff were very courteous,helpful and made for a really pleasant stay. Our room was large, comfortable and very clean. The resort had a large pool which was more refreshing than the ocean to swim in and also had many other leisure activities for you to participate in if you so desired. The resort was located close to the center of town(walking distance to most restaurants and the night market)

Need to do some maintenance on their bikes. Weren't able to ride these too far. If you wanted to go any distance you would have to hire mountain bikes from another touring company. Was somewhat more expensive to eat at the resort than venture out and eat at the other restaurants. Don't think long beach is the nicest place to swim on the island--nicer beaches located to the north and south of the resort.

Clean rooms. Kind staff. Silence during night.

The resort is a bit overestimated. It's definitely not a 4 stars. A 3 stars would fit. One example: the shower has just a plastic curtain to isolate from the remaining part of the bathroom.

We visited resort in October, so it was quiet, we could get enough time for relax.

Stuff does not speak englih very well, sometimes it was too difficult to find somebody to help you.

It was a very lovely resort on a beautiful Island. Our room was very comfortable. Breakfasts offered you a wide and different selection every day. Staff very friendly and helpful. They were quite proficient with the English language. Beach was nice and clean.

We had the Bar-B- Que. One evening for dinner but we were not particularly impressed with what was offered so we felt that was a bit disappointing. Our trip getting to the island was very long and tiresome. We were supposed to,fly from Can Tho with Vietnam Airlines but our flight got cancelled so we had to endure a three hour drive in a car to Rach Gia to catch the ferry. This took 2 1/2 hours and then a car/taxi over to our resort. The roads on the island are not very good so it was a very bumpy ride. Then when we we due to fly back to Saigon with Air Mekong this time our flight was delayed twice in one day so instead of flying out mid morning we never left until late afternoon. Seems they delay or cancel,flights from this island for whatever reason regularly. Just beware and always check your flight times.

The Saigon Phu Quoc is a Resort and Spa, and part of the large Saigon Group. The visit was off season, and in the wet / monsoon season, so cannot complain about rain. The Hotel has excellent staff and very friendly, but the Resort is 'tired' and needs a makeover, particularly the bathrooms / shower rooms and the external features ( paving / swimming pool ). The pool was closed for the three days we were staying due to flooding ( heavy rain) and needed to be fully cleaned, as did the beach are. The location is good and staff very good.

Le bungalow donnant directement sur la plage est magnifique. Tout a été prévu même les serviettes de plage gratuites sans location, sans caution, changées tous les jours comme celles de SdB Personnel accueillant et serviable. Situation exceptionnele : plage privée à 5 minutes à pied du "centre-ville" de Duong Dong

Dommage que la salle affectée au Petit Déjeuner ( un vrai breakfast ) ne soit pas climatisée comme lzes chambres et bungalow.x

Profesjonelt drevet resort, hvor man ikke har meget å klage på. Rene håndklær klare på solsengene hver morgen. Bra frokost. Annerledes - litt eksotisk. Vennlige mennesker over alt. Ingen henger på deg for å selge noe.

приветливый персонал, внимательный к проблемам гостя. отличное метоположение, спокойное и чистое море. жили в делюкс виллах с друзьями - одна на 2 номера - удобное размещение в 2х шагах от моря. на территории отеля достаточно развлечений - большой теннис, гольф, спа с разнообразными и профессиональными процедурами (работал с 9 утра до 12 ночи). хороший завтрак с оббилием блюд, фруктов и напитков.

Понравилось в отеле практически все. Разместили очень быстро, так как прилетели уже после 14.00. Жили в трехэтажном корпусе в номере 178. Обычный стандартный номер. Все работало. Полотенца меняли каждый день. Пополняли расходники в ванной по мере их использования. Завтраки очень даже ни чего. На любой вкус. В ресторане отеля обедали только в первый день - показалось дороговато. Затем кормиться ходили в близлежащие ресторанчики. Персонал отеля очень отзывчивый. Несколько человек говорят по русски. Претензий нет. Пользовались услугами прачечной - нормально. Устойчивый сигнал WiFi на всей территории отеля.

Есть небольшие претензии к пляжу. Практически по всей протяженности он укреплен бетонной стенкой для того чтобы не смывался песок. Без этой стенки только небольшой участок. И все бы ничего, если бы за этим сооружением было нормальное песчаное дно, но там какие-то камни и разросшиеся водоросли. Плавать ОЧЕНЬ неприятно. И сама эта стенка, когда прилив, довольно скользкая. Я на ней однажды подскользнулась и упала. Так что будьте осторожны.
