Right next to the beach.
Staff needs thorough training about hospitality service standards (no sense of service at all except for the front office ones). Outdated facilities and design.
Excellence beach for family, couple, honeymoon Nice room w/ villa beach front There are 2 pools for our choice during stay Love this resort!!!
The pool by the beach is excellent.
Construction work underway. Not much noise, but a bit of an eyesore.
This was a wonderful resort we loved it very clean the food was great and the staff so helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble for them, they made our stay what it was,the room was great, the beach and pool for swimming so clean and nice.
did not dislike anything
Good swiming pool
There is a construction site nearby and it was very annoying !! They started to work at 7:00 am even on Sunday !!! I didn't sleep well during the whole stay at the hotel. We came back to home earlier.
good breakfast buffet cocktails. pool
The bed was no more than a piece of foam on top of plywood. Extremely uncomfortable and disappointing. The pool & bar closing at sunset. Why are you calling yourself a resort when you close up areas people come to enjoy. The bus driver turning off the AC as soon as it began cooling on our way back from Hue shopping. No chicken was available during our 3 day stay.We were charged full price for our cocktails during Happy Hour buy 1 get 1 free. We weren't happy and will never go back.
service of the receptionists ,shuttle transfer baggage boys and waiters are excellent . Good environment . nice garden and beach .
Room service , no do not disturb and room make up card . Staff always knock on door, somestimes staff forget to provide the plastic bag for the bin.The bathroom is humid because there is no screen, only a plastic curtain. so the water goes everywhere.
BBQ dinner with live music. The musicians are very good and friendly. The free of charge facilities: pool, Volleyball, spa,..
The beach is not very clean, can improve.
Cozy beach resort, very friendly staff members!!
Nice place to rest in the middle of a long trip or to spend long hours enjoying the beach or the swimming pool by the beach. It's really a place to go and do nothing. Choose the bungalows if you can afford. Very comfortable. Although we stayed for one night in the standard room and it's also nice, except for the bathroom, with the toilet inside the shower cubicle. It's really a cost-benefit place, as their prices are lower than the other resorts in Da Nang. On the other hand, don't expect a five star service. You really get what you paid for and in out case was better than we expect. We arrived right after Haiyan typhoon and a tropical depression that caused floods in nearby Hoi An and major damages to the resort, especially its gardens, beach front bungalows and the beach front bar. The beach was very dirty because of it. Even so, the whole time we were there they were working to fix everything. Even the beach was cleaned every day after the high tide. We also had a problem understanding theit English which resulted in them charging more than we expected for the upgrade we made. But after explaining what happened, they immediatelly fixed the problem charging what we thought we would pay.
It's a nice place, but some things need improvement. The obvious thing is the toilet inside the shower cubicle in the standard rooms. If you can, choose a better room. All the other rooms have better toilets. The reastaurant could also be better, although we didn't have any major issue with food quality. Just bland meals. Their English was a minor issue, at least for me, but I can understand why other people said it was a problem. One big problem we had was room service, which (at least they say) ends at midnight. On two occasions we called them minutes before midnight but the restaurant was already closed. On the first occasion we had just arrived after a long trip by train, s we were hungry and thirsty. It was 11:40 PM when I called the restaurant. No one answered. I tried for 10 minutes and then decided to call the reception. The guy at reception told me the restaurant was closed because it was "already" midnight. I tried to explain that if you say midnight, it must mean midnight, not 15 minutes before midnight. In the end I was so tired I just gave up and ate what we had at the room. The second time it was 11:55 PM. My wife and I were having a nice time in our bungalow and, knowing we would stay awake for at least one more hour and noticing it was almost midnight, I called the restaurant so I could order a couple more beers before it closed. Well, it was already closed. I called the reception again and even volunteered to go and fetch the beer. They said it was not possible. Another down is the fact that their "welcome" book at the room is in fact a long list of things you'll be paying if you break anything. Not the best way to greet your guest. All in all, there wasn't a major issue that affected our stay in the hotel. We knew they weren't the best place in the region, but we got what we paid for and that was fine. I'd definetely stay there again.
Breakfast very good, nice staff. Free shuttle to City Center and Hoi An
Big noisy construction between Hotel and beach
There are 2 swimming pool. One is seaside and another is in garden. Both pool are good to swim with your clildren. You can go Danang down town and Hoian by free bus. Hotel restaurant is good and your family can eat food about 500,000 VND.
Hotel must have to repair their gameroom(pocket ball, table tennis ...)
When we arrived to the Resort we were ugraded t o bungalow since the room we were supoosed to have were smelling awful from water damages during the typhoon the 15/10. The personell were kind and the breakfirst buffe quite ok.
The whole resort suffer from Typhoon damages from 15/10. It will take 2-3 month to repair Everything. Only one pool can be used and the whole beach is terrible.
was nice place
was good ..nothing really
Free wifi throughout entire resort!
right on the beach, spacious and clean sea view rooms, colonial design, 2 swimming pools, good food, courteous staff, free shuttle bus to Hoi An, free wi-fi
garden view rooms are outdated and very small, advertised on-location sports center was closed down, certain staff spoke poor English, strong currents at hotel's beach
The Sandy Beach is situated on the beach between Da Nang and Hoi An. The hotel as nice grounds in a natural environment. We stayed in a garden villa which had its own terrace and was very peaceful. The room was OK with flat screen TV king size bad and large bathroom with good hot water shower.
The hotel is isolated with not much going on, there are two pools with large terrace, however there are less than a dozen sun beds on each. The hotel reception/Lounge/restaurant are very cluttered, hot and uncomfortable with no AC but just ceiling fans. The common area are dated and need a major refurbishment. Would have excepted more from Centara
