* A built-in minimart would be great, just in case we need some neccesarities. There's no shops around this resort, you know.
We booked Vietstar without much expectation (well, we heard a lot about the distance from the resort to city center etc), but this turned out to be one of the best places we've ever been to. The resort was sprawling, the trees are so green and it's windy all day, we were surrounded by the birds chirping, the natural scent from flowers and grass, the far-away seaview added to the perfection of this place. You should pay some money to get to town city and enjoy some local foods. But if you don't want to waste your time on taxis, just go to Vietstar Restaurant and enjoy their varied menu with great culinary talents. Try salads, beef and pork in Vietnamese style, you won't be disapponted. Okay, someone might blame about 'the beach is a little distanced from the resort', but a ride on electric car would give you a chance to get to know more about local life, quite interesting. The beach is quite rewarding too.
