Sapa Elegance Hotel    

Hotel staff were very friendly hotel was comfortable and clean.

The view from the room, the furniture and decoration in the room including the most wonderful way of displaying the towels on the bed.

That we couldn't stay another night...fully booked. Next time we will book earlier and stay one week not one night!

The hotel has very friendly and helpful staff with large comfortable rooms. They even allowed us to check in early after our overnight train trip from Hanoi which made our stay os much more enjoyable.

If you were expecting the spectacular valley views this is not the hotel for you.

Great staff, loation is close to cemter of Sapa but aside from the noise and busy streets.

I arrived at 6am and they let me have my room straight away with a breakfast on top of it. They spoke excellent English. The receptionist was very friendly, top marks to all of them.

Excellent location on a rise, a short stroll to town centre. Our room had views of the mountains, town square and church (which lights up in colours at night!) A large room with sitting nook, wall-to-wall windows, air conditioned (cold and hot) and electric blanket for those chilly nights. Very quiet, clean and serviced daily, complimentary fresh fruit and water. Helpful and friendly staff.

I will mention that there's no lift, just in case. Not much of an issue since people come to Sapa because they like the mountains, with all the ups and downs. Not a large choice on the breakfast menu, but OK to start the day.

Location to the centre of town was good but still far enough away that you didn't step out into hawker madness when you left the hotel. Breakfast was excellent. The electric bed pad was essential for survival

It took a while for our room to heat up on the day we arrived (was actually warmer outside) so if the weather isn't going to be the best during your stay you may want to request a small room or book somewhere that has a proper heater

- the hotel and our room were cold. The weather improved when we arrived so basically it was warmer outside than indoors - this applies to hotels, restaurants etc in sapa in general in jan/feb so its not just this hotel. The rooms are equipped with electric blanket so one could sleep well

The staff is extremely nice and helpful and the rooms are good value for money!

We arrive at about 6am on Morning train and take about an hour to transfer from Lao Cai Train Station to hotel by shuttle bus. The hotel reception allows us to check in early and really appreciate that as we need a shower after the 8hrs train ride. Hotel staffs are all very friendly and they can communicate well with English. We were given a room with balcony that has a very nice mountain view. Rooms are clean and beautiful with comfortable bed. Breakfast menu is limited but we like the Vietnamese noodle soup with chicken very much! Stayed for 1 night and we were allowed to extend another 2 hrs at a minimal charge after our trekking, to take a shower before our night train back to Hanoi. Highly recommended!

very cozy place all was excellent! staying on the hill at the bottom of the mountain in a quite place not in the crowdy center. highly recommend!

no air condition, but when i opened a window became very fresh, and even cold already in the morning. So it is not a problem.

Great staff, nice room, perfect location. Hotel arragnes transfer to/from Lao Cai - just write or call the manager.

We got probably the only room at hotel with no air conditioner and with the coridor with louver.

It is a quite clean, quiet, beautiful, comfortable and friendly hotel, so that we take a wonderful holiday. Thanks for their kindness and hospitality.

Location nearby Sapa city center. Spacious and clean rooms. Friendly staff that arranged for us an early check in at 8:00 a.m. Good enough services for a hotel in a vietnamese rural area.

It have no elevator (actually if you are a mountain hiking visitor you do not need it)

Too expensive!!! There are similar hotels for half the price!!! Humidity odor (strong) They were doing construction work, which began before 7am!!! If you want to stay there, be sure the construction work is over!

This hotel is in a great spot. Our room was large, comfortable and clean. We had a great deck where we could relax and look out over the valley. The first morning we arrived, long after dawn the staff stepped out the front door to great us by name. It was the start of an excellent three days. You'll enjoy the vibe at breakfast as well.

Fist step when open the door, i fell comfortable with fresh flowers and spa smell.

We liked the central location of the hotel. The room we had was really spacious and very clean. Familiy run business. We appreciated that staff did not push to book tours through them: rather rare in Vietnam... We recommend this hotel. Try the vegetable omelet for breakfast and go to the garden bar down the road on the right side for a drink (but not for a Pho..).

There was construction work and there fore it was a bit loud (they changed the windows and now it should be done)
