The apartment was spacious (living room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen) and nicely furnished. There are a nice pool and a well equipped gym. The location is ok (1st district), however not quite within walking distance from most attractions. Very friendly staff.

We travelled with our older teenage sons and mother, and booked two apartments. Our 3 bedroom apartment was huge, with 2 bathrooms. It really made our week in Ho Chi Minh extremely comfortable, The rooms are serviced daily, and having a fully functional laundry in the apartment made it so much easier to know we could carry on with our holiday with clean clothes. The pool was functional, as was the gym. The location wasn't as close to the centre of the city, however, catching a taxi was cheap - it take a little time though as the traffic is so heavy. Although not so central, having the peace and quiet of the apartments made up for it.

Great place to base yourself with your family. These apartments are large and great because you can do your owe laundry & cooking if you so wish. The apartments have 2 bathrooms and an extra toilet. The pool is nice and the breakfast is adequate and included in the price. A taxi down to the centre of town is cheap and easy. Main thing I like was you could have your whole family in one apartment, great price, nice staff and good price. Also all tourist activities we booked out of this hotel here 5 star. Unfortunately in other hotels we found you did not always get what you paid for.

We have been to Ho Chi Minh six times now and we have only stayed at Somerset Ho Chi Minh, I like the convenience of an appartment being with 3 children and the service is excellent. Needs some modernising

I liked the fact it was an apartment with a kitchen and laundry facilities and a sitting room. It also had two bathrooms which is useful when a family of 5 people are staying. It also worked out to be cheaper than booking a number of hotel rooms. The outdoor swimming pool was very clean and in pleasant surroundings. The restaurant was too small to accommodate the number of people when the hotel was busy.

The two bedroom apartment gave my husband teenage son and myself the space we needed. The location was fine and the staff excellent. Eatying at the hotel was not the best and when we return we shall not be eating there. The food was not of the standard of most other eateries - cheap and expensive - around district 1.

-Friendly service - very clean - large livIng arean - Too far from main centre n markets - breakfast was not nice and I only got breakfast voucher for one person when booked a 2 bedroom apartment.( was promised a call bak when I complained but didn't get one)

The City is busy all day-long and yet very safe for tourists. My family and I would walk at night to explore the City, scout for dining places, small boutiques yo shop from. We have not encountered any incident or minor crimes during our 4-day stay. Somerset Ho Chi Minh City is a great place to stay- where the front fesk staff are all very friendly and accommodating. We arrived early morning due to the schedule of our flight. We were immediately given the best attention and accommodated us in their business/computer center where we had the chance to fix our luggages until our check-in time. We given the opportunity for an early check in. Minh, the front desk personnel was excellent in customer service. Rooms are very clean. We had a great time staying in this very safe property.

The staff were very helpful and friendly but not pushy. The breakfast was well cooked and variety good. Other food at the hotel was excellent. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Cheap easy access to everything by taxi. Great swimming pool and fitness area.

The staff were very helpful and nothing was a trouble. The restaurant was excellent for a quick bite or drink. Hotel upgraded us to three bedroom apartment.

Every facility good for family travel. house keeping was perfect for us. kind staff. 1. Air conditioner, the capacity of power was not enough to use all electrocity equipment. lots of time need to reset power. 2. Breakfast, not enough menus 3. Noise on low floor, recommeding on high floor

Somerset HCM city should be top rated about cleanliness and service. The staff is very helpful if you need any information about shopping, pharmacy and restaurant. Internet is also good, some overseas connection is only fair though. Somerset should offer free breakfast for children also more attractive rate for long term stays that last more than one week. The manager I contacted said there was no weekly rate but only monthly rental.

Very helpful staff. If you travel with children, the swimming pool is an absolute bonus, certainly in a busy and crowded city like Saigon. Restaurant at the pool was pretty good (but a bit small for such a large hotel) Breakfast (included in the room price) was nice too (lots of choice). The apartments were bit old for their price.
