Location. Just a 2 minute walk to Ben Thanh Market. The breakfast is ok. They serve vietnamese noodles, soup, rice, eggs and coffee among others. We were booked a Standard Double Room. The room was clean enough but no matter how often they make-up/clean the room, there is an odd stinky stench that did not disappear during duration of our stay. Smells like cigarette smoke or fungi like smell. Also, when we were about to leave for the airport, one of the Hotel room boys demanded a tip like we were being held up. I gave him VND20,000 dong, since we have limited vietnamese currency already. This room boy demanded more money from us while we are already inside the taxi. It was really unnerving. I wouldn't recommend this Hote, there are a lot of budget hotels around Ben Thanh market that I am sure provides better service and treatment of its guests.

The room doesn't look like a room in a two star hotel, it looks like four stars. It's very clean, everything is new, there are enough drinks in the minibar and the room was cleaned by a kind roomkeeper.

The location of this hotel is very good (district 1) and the price 31 USD is fine. We walked from this hotel to some pagodes, temples, restaurants etc. It was a good stay. At the beginning and at the end of the holiday we stayed at Thanh Lien. The first time we had a nice room, the second time it wasn't that good. The shower, safe, showerdoor were broken. The first room was fine.

Walking distance to night market, budget hotel, Breakfast is very poor. It should upgrade slightly. The bed is a bit hard.

Malgré avoir préciser notre arrivée tardive lors de la réservation, l'hôtel n'avait pas garder de chambre familiale.Le lendemain nous avons donc voulu quitter l'hotel et le personnel voulait nous faire payer une nuit supplémentaire! En bref la notion de client est inexistante dans cet hotel!

Läget var väldigt bra, med nära till Ben Than market. Trevlig personal. Frukost buffén var inget att ha för vegetarianer och inte heller om man inte vill ha någon varm mat till frukost.

Die Lage war schoen, das wars dann aber auch schon ! Das Servicepersonal hat von dem Wort Service noch nie gehoert, man musste wirklich eindringlich nachfragen um ueberhauot irgendetwas zum Fruehstueck zu bekommen. Es wurde nur sehr widerwillig serviert und das dann auch mit dem entsprechenden Gesicht. Fuer mich das bislang schlechteste Hotel in Asien, bei meiner inzwischen 7. Reise, auf einen Nenner gebracht: unterirdisch !!!

It's close proximity to everything.....Ben Thanh market and shops around the area, Night Market, good restaurants, street food, fruit stands, money changer....mostly within short walking distance. The family room's description upon booking was city view with a sala but what we got was a room with small windows overlooking the street below and with 4 chairs and 2 tables facing the beds. The complimentary coffee/cream/sugar were not replenished during our entire 5-day stay in the hotel (extended our stay for one day). Items from housekeeping need to be available 24/7.
