Victoria Phan Thiet Beach Resort And Spa    

The hotel is located in a quiet place in the town, away from the noisy boke market and backpackers' houses. Spa rooms are along the beach side and it was quite nice to have sound of the waves during massage.Breakfast is not bad with pretty much selection, and staff are very helpful. Thus, it's a good choice for vacation. Btw, it was my friend's bday trip. I rushed out early on her bday morning, and asked receptionist for cake as surprise for my friend...haha, can't forget her amazing face when she opened the door.

The disadvantage brought by quiet environment is that the location is far away from Boke market and sinh cafe office, around VD100k one way for taxi. However, we both think that it worths the taxi expenses.

There is no beach, its just rocks, the pool is over 30c and the air con in the rooms cannot keep up. The bath was filthy and it looked like blood stains in the pillows. The front desk was unwilling to refund any future nights stays so we accepted it and stayed next door at the Ponashu which was fantastic and ironically cheaper! It's a dated resort and should not be advertising features it does not have (such as a beach) my review may seem critical but when I go to a beach resort I go for the heat but it is nice to have relief and this place does not offer it.

The bungalows are enormous big (78 m2) and beautiful. The outdoorshower was fantastic. Even our garden bungalow had sea view! Service was also great. They even made the bed ready for sleeping ang left a little story and a good night cake. Breakfast buffet had everything you could dream off! Just wonderful!

There is no swimming beach directly in front of the hotel, but you can walk 2 minutes to the left and swim there. Town is about 2-3 minutes by taxi (too far to walk) but there are bikes for free.

Staff were not the least bit helpful nor friendly. Everything comes with a price at this resort, nothing is complimentary. Shower head is outdoors and there are lots of bugs and insects flying around at night making it impossible to shower without insects landing on your naked body. Will never ever return to this resort again.

Service by the staff was excellent. We had a beach side villa and it was great, the bathroom was big and the outdoor shower was an interesting feature. The breakfast was also good with lots of variety. We arrived very late in the night and there was someone to meet us.

The hotel is located a little way out from the main Mui Ne shopping strip (I.E. tourist area), you will need to catch a taxi into town as it's a little to far to walk, cost is approx. $4 us each way.

We have been travelling for six weeks and Victoria has been our best stay. The atmosphere is fantastic, a very friendly staff, the food at the restaurant is the best gormet meals we have had. Villas har wonderful, I hope we will come back some time. It was a wonderful week.

Everything was fantastic.

Fantastic place. The best staff ive experienced ever. One of best cuisines experiences. Definitely choose the beach front villa. Its a place to relax like not many other on the world.

The design could be slightly upgraded. The oldschool touch is nice and gives the atmosphere, but still to be competitive should be slightly face lifted. The live music at the pool is simply people repealing...

We stayed at the beach bungalow - very spacious and nicely decorated. Great pools, lovely gardens, great breakfasts.

There is no direct access to the beach at that resort and that is why we would not go there again. We felt a bit deceived by staying at the beach bungalow... Check Poshanu or The Cliff which are next door and have a beach. Also massively overpriced!!! You can walk to the next village (around 20min walk) and get everything 5 times cheaper.

Its a nice hotel, but its quite far from the main area. Breakfast is really nice.

- It's 2-3 km from the bars, restaurants etc; - it's at the sea, but you can not swim there; - restaurant prices are really high.

The only negative for the location of the hotel is that there is no actual beach in front of the hotel, you can find one a short walk away but then there are no sun beds or shade.

Very nice hotel, beautiful property, great sea view... Management is very cooperative & supportive! Outdoor shower was wonderful!! The buffet breakfast had wide selection & restaurant staff was courteous…

The only immediate drawback is lack of sandy beach on the property & I would install a fence between the seaside & seaside walkway to avoid anyone accidentally falling down…

The English of the staff could be better. The food in the restaurant was not good enough to justify the (European) price.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The service is excellent and the resort has obviously thought about the smallest details in order to make each stay an unforgottable experience. Although some comments mentioned the rocky beach, they also have a very nice, sandy beach (depending on which side you choose, it is more rocky or more sandy). And breakfast is unbelievable: such a choice and quality (although I'm a frequent traveller, I can't remember having ever had such a large choice of quality food a breakfast)...I'd rather call it a brunch.

A luxury resort with access to pools as well as the ocean. We had a garden bungalow with plenty of space and an own terass for sunbath. The breakfast buffe was hugh including everything you needed. Staff very helpful and service minded.

Victoria is a luxury hotel which also means high prices in the restaurant. We had a set menu one evening but they failed on the fish course which was supprising whilst the kitchen should be very good on fish cooking. The hotel is abit isolated which means you need to take a taxi or arrange transport if you would like to see something else.

Great location, closer to Phan Thiet than other resorts on the strip. The beach was very relaxing and wasn't as bad (size-wise) as other reviewers had us believing. Found it fine to swim in. Enjoyed the infinity pool as well. Staff was very friendly and front desk helped us arrange a bus to Nha Trang as well as taxis to go into town. Would stay again.

Restaurant was too expensive, though we had dinner there one night and enjoyed the ambience.

A lot of effort has gone into every detail... Like clockwork when we returned from Breakfast (great selection by the way and in our case also included) our room had been spotlessly cleaned. Then again in The evening when our room was prepared for bedtime... We LOVED it. The beach with its glorious waves... The infinity pool... I just wish I had the budget to stay a week! We had a FAB two nights! WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Secluded location, spacious bungalows. We were in love with infinity pool. Restaurant is quite pricey for Vietnam, but worth it. Unless you want to dine with vast hordes of russian travellers in Mui Ne village.

Parts of resort could use some renovation.

The hotel is separated from the rest and the now quite busy Mui Ne and it was a Plus for me . Yet it is very easy to get to Mui Ne for a drink, shopping or clubbing or to Phan Thiet to visit this charming city with its picturesque fisherman's harbour. The availability of bikes is a big plus. Overall . the ambiance in the hotel is quiet and very relaxing. I liked the beach but for some people who are looking to a large generous sandy beach it can be a disappointment

The restricted and somewhat rocky beach can be a disappointment for certain persons. Food was good but not excellent.

Very good hotel for honey-moon, we got relaxed there after our wedding. As we knew that the hotel wasn't new we weren't upset or regret.Hotel with a good service, hotel staff is really helpfull and friendly. We enjoined of our staying there!

There's only one speed level on bicycles!

Victoria Resort has a very nice garden is located at the beach. There are 2 beautiful pools on the premises. The cabins at the resort are beautifull. Our cabin was located at the beach. Fantastic view. The staff at the resort are very friendly and helpfull. The breakfast is very nice, with many choices of local and international breakfast and very tsasty fruits. Mui Ne itself is not very much to do. But for a couple of days relaxing it is a nice location.

The dinner at the restaurant of the resort was oke, but not more than that.

We have stayed here several times and would return for a guarenteed comfortable weekend with excellent food and attention to detail. All the Victoria hotels in Vietnam never disappoint!! Colonial charm and modern elegance Thanks!

The beach is not what it used to be several years ago. Seems to be washing away every year....less and less area to enjoy a long beach walk.

Restaurant and the Chef with very worthy breakfasts.

Were in hotel already in the fourth time and very much were disappointed. The hotel became not well-groomed, the personnel not attentive, a beach all in rocks because washed away all sand, into the sea not to come. It is very a pity that from smart hotel, turned into three stars with a tightness. Any more we will not eat. (((
